If I could give no stars, I would. I purchased my vehicle back in May from J&L auto. After purchasing it, I told J&L there was a problem with the alignment, so they had me take it to Jimmy Browns who did an alignment...I left and my car was still pulling to the right. They had me take it back up there and then I was told that I have a bent rim (turned out to be two) and they replaced them and gave me 4 new tires. I left again with the vehicle still pulling to the right. I expressed my concerns. J&L was supposed to have came and picked my vehicle up from my work because I had taken off so much going back and forth because of issues with the car during which I found out the vehicle had been wrecked and this was not mentioned to me even after I specifically asked if it had been, and they were supposed to replace the left rear window switch because it didn't work from the driver's door. Guess what, they never showed up to pick up my vehicle. Here I am five months later, and my front right tire has wire showing through the rubber and J&L and Jimmy Brown's both say the vehicle was sold as is, and it's not their problem! I told them something was wrong and neither place listened to me and said the problem was taken care of when, indeed, it was not. I had someone look at the vehicle yesterday and told me that the reason my car has been pulling to the right and my tire is ruined is because the steering rack needed to be replaced! If either place knew what they were doing, I wouldn't be in a situation where I have to spend $600 for a steering rack and $250 for a new tire! So thank you J&L and Jimmy Brown's for your terrible customer service and for screwing me over yet again!

I needed a tow to their shop due to my car not running. Well, it turned out to be a minor thing, that I probably should've found myself, the distributor plug wire was bad. So anyway, we agreed that I should just go ahead and get a whole new set of spark plug wires. In a 4-cylinder, naturally there's 4, not including the one to distributor. So I get the car back, and pop the hood to look just out of curiosity, and I noticed something: They only replaced One of the wires, it was the distributor wire, the one that was causing it not to run, and I could see for a fact that all of the others were the same old ones I already had, yet I was charged for a full new set of wires. I'm sure they thought I wouldn't know the difference. So I called down there and get the guy at the front counter on the phone, and he of course denies it saying "No we don't do that kind of thing". So I say I disagree and that they Had done it because I can see it plain as day, then the guy proceeds to cuss me out and start raising his voice telling me "You're full of ___!", so I just hang up the phone. Yes, what the other reviewer said is true: These guys are nothing but sleazeballs and rip-off artists. Also when I was first in there picking up my car the guy had an attitude then too, just over the simplest questions, and one of the mechanics, I'm sure the one that worked on my car, was standing off to the side over there looking at me with a smirk on his face, because the counter jerk had said "Well you didn't Have to get the tow, did you?" in a real smart-mouth manner, both treating me like a fool for getting a tow over a small thing like that, which may be true, but I didn't need the garbage off these two, since I'm paying them with my money...and on top of all that, they advertised 'free towing' to their shop, but because they thought the rip-off on the plug wires wasn't enough, they charged me full price for the tow, which was $100.00. I guess that was the 'labor charge' for replacing one single wire. Just really crummy low-rent crooked individuals down there is all I can say.

Very good customer service; the lady I spoke to was polite, helpful, and honest. I recently replaced everything on my front end (steering & suspension) at home by myself, but I was unable to get one particular rusty tie rod end off on the passenger side. Given that I already bought the part (MOOG) I didn't see the need to buy another one (Firestone wouldn't install my part; I would have to buy one of theirs... they also wouldn't quote me on how much it would cost to do so; just kept asking me to bring it in... SMH) and thankfully this place elected to install the tie rod end for me and align my car. At the current time yes, they are busy so you will have to schedule an appointment. God bless you!

Came in for a simple tire balance and was told we can't get to that right now we're to far behind! Sorry customer service and will never waste my gas to come here again! It was at 155 around 3pm I understand they were busy but I was in no hurry and was turned away instead of getting a time frame or asking me to make an appointment.

Super helpful and nice. Got in within a couple days and they were happy to check my brakes and confirm what I need as well as replacing them. I paid way less than anywhere else, which I admit was a little suspicious. And I was right to be. They replaced my rear brakes and rotors, but they kept squealing. Brought my car to the dealership to find that they didn't use "commercial" brakes which is what is causing the near unbearable squealing...

It's always so hard to find a reliable trust worthy company especially when you are a women. Crystal was so great it was a pleasure to work with her! I was planning a trip out of town and of course the day before I leave a weird light comes on my dash. The dealership could not fit me in and were going to charge me a very high diagnostic fee. Crystal went above and beyond to try and figure out what was going on. They didn't find anything wrong with my car and didn't charge me anything!! I highly recommend them!!! I will be using them for all future brake and tire needs.

I dropped my car off at 9am and finally got it at 5pm by just showing up at the shop. They partially rewired my compressor and left wires exposed and never informed us what was going on. When we went up to the shop to get our car we found our car parked in the lot with the doors unlocked and they were closing the facility. When asked about the car they said “They partially wired our car” and that was it. NO COMMUNICATION AT ALL!! VERY DISAPPOINTED!!

Christ-l and the team at Jimmy Brown's are amazing. I was in town on a business trip, living in DFW. My brake line broke in the afternoon, making my car undrivable. They got me in immediately, knowing my situation and timing to get it fixed, unable to sit around for days. The crew worked hard to have it ready by the next morning for me to leave. They clearly put their customers first. Go here for any car needs you have, you are in good hands! Thank you all.
