I tested out JoCo Auto with a simple oil change on my 2014 Silverado and everything went great. I was surprised to see such a detailed overview of the inspection of my truck, including pictures. This led me to bring our other vehicle to them, a 2022 Hyundai Palisade, instead of the dealer for maintenance as well. Service has always been quick, staff is always communicative, scheduling appointments is easy, and I always leave understanding the work that was done. Prices are very fair and they are cautious about accepting work they can't warranty. Overall, I'd recommend JoCo Auto to anyone looking for a place they can trust with their regular maintenance items.

Updating since I'm still coming here 3 years later. JoCo Auto is still a 5-star for me. They've repaired my exhaust, balanced my tires, performed numerous other maintenance items, and thoroughly inspected my car every time I come in. I finally got new tires from them and am very happy. They worked with me to find a good mid-range tire that I would be happy with price and performance wise. I couldn't recommend them more. ----------- Just got my first oil change here. The front desk was very friendly and willing to explain any questions I had. The "next service" sticker also matched my owner's manual recommended mileage interval, instead of the bogus 3000 mile interval that some mechanics recommend. That's the mark of an honest business. Check engine light came on and took it to them. A week later it came back and I was worried they wouldn’t own the problem. They checked it out and the problem was related and they fixed it the second time!🤩 the owner also came out and explained to me why it came on a second time… he was super knowledgeable about my cars situation and even told me what to do if their fix doesn’t work (quoted it too). Overall very impressed with their quality of work and ethics. It’s tough to gauge a repair shop because it’s not like you can “see” or “feel” their work (whereas you can give immediate feedback when eating out) you just hope they do what they said they do. But it’s nice I can trust these guys to do the job and do it right. Definitely keeping them in mind for future car repairs 😊

Brought my spouse's car in for a simple, yet long-time, issue regarding a tire pressure sensor. The indicator light had been On for quite some time despite checking the pressure in each tire numerous times and even resetting the codes in the vehicle's computer. Enter JoCo Auto. Brought the car in and they quickly isolated the faulty sensor and replaced it. Though our story doesn't end there. The next day the light came back on. We called to see when we could bring it back in to be looked at and they made the time to get us in that very day. After additional troubleshooting, information, and 1 other stop by their shop everything was resolved and we're no longer plagued by the everlasting TPS light. In addition to an incredibly welcoming and pleasant nature from everyone I interacted with as a 1st-time customer, I always appreciate information and a conversation when it comes to specialized work such as automotive maintenance and repair. We will, without a doubt, make them our first call the next time we find one of our vehicles needing some work or investigating.

Can't recommend enough! Called Ernie today upset about my vehicle that was experiencing mechanical issues. He immediately diagnosed what he thought was the issue over the phone and gave me a quote on pricing. Had it towed to the shop within the hour, when I showed up with my husband shortly after my car they'd already taken a look at it and confirmed Ernie's suspicions. The part was ordered and my car was in the bay before I even left to wander around the area while I waited, came back an hour later and it was finished and the price was reasonable. This is an upfront and honest shop that won't hesitate to tell the truth, or try to nickel and dime you. The whole experience was a couple of hours and I never felt like I was talked down to or tried to be sold anything. Just quick, honest work and pricing. My mom recommended this shop to me after they didn't charge her at all for a small fix, and I'll recommend to others. Thanks to Ernie and the team!

5 of 5 stars isnt enough for Johnson County Auto! They exceed all expectations every time I've had work done. I can't speak highly enough about the staff with regards to their honesty, transparency, integrity, customer service, quality of work, etc... if you're looking to have your car worked on, this is where you need to be. After working at multiple car dealerships and trying multiple locally owned shops throughout the years I've witnessed and experienced a lot of the horror stories you can imagine one might encounter. For once, I have peace of mind. I dont have to worry about being scammed and I can feel better about parting ways with my hard earned money. Im a customer for life. Honest shops are hard to find. JoCo Auto is the place you’re looking for. Truck was pulling thought it was an alignment issue. they did make a slight adjustment but said it was actually my tires causing the pull. I was skeptical but in the past I learned to trust these guys. I got a new set and just like they said it fixed the pull.

I took the vehicle in for a pre-purchase inspection on behalf of a buyer, who was paying for the service. It’s an 8-year-old truck that runs and drives excellent with no oil leaks or suspension issues. However, their repair estimate came back at $3,100 for struts, brakes, and rotors. When asked, they claimed the truck had “weak struts” and “oil seepage,” which doesn’t match what I observed. It seems like they may be overselling their services, especially to people who aren’t familiar with cars. I’d strongly recommend getting a second opinion—otherwise you might end up replacing good parts unnecessarily. They also refused to share the inspection report with me simply because I wasn’t the one who paid for it, which felt very petty.

In this world where manners really don’t matter as much as they used to, it’s great to know that you get exactly that at JoCo-great manners, great service and appreciative person behind the counter explaining what it’s going to take to fix your car. I love this company. I love the atmosphere they provide along with the wisdom and solutions to give you back on the road. Something to be said about seeing the same employees year after year as to how the owner treats them. I would highly recommend this company- the owner stands behind all the services his techs provides. Most importantly, they operate with honesty and integrity which has become a dying art.

I’ve been coming here for years and wouldn’t take my car anywhere else. I completely trust them to do great work that they stand behind, and they don't try to sell me what I don't really need. Everyone is always friendly and kind, and they go the extra mile to be helpful. I have taken my vehicles to JoCo automotive for several different mechanical issues. As a female; I appreciate the fact the mechanics actually talk to me without making it seem as though I have no clue about cars. They do a very good job of calling and explaining the issues they have pinpointed prior to doing any work. They also do a good job of reiterating what work was done when they go over your invoice. I have never dealt with anyone at JoCo automotive who wasn’t polite, courteous, and professional. I’ve also never had to bring a vehicle back due to shoddy work. I enjoy and prefer to support local and small businesses because they tend to provide quality service and more importantly superior customer service. I will continue to bring my vehicles to JoCo automotive and I strongly recommend others to do so as well.
