A wonderful mom and pop shop that specializes in Audi, BMW, Mercedes Benz, and other European autos. I live in Michigan and was interested in a used 2015 650i at a local BMW dealership. I figured the should be clean but you never know. So called them to do a pre purchase inspection. The wife was pleasant to talk to and great communicator. I’d bet her personality could make the Grinch smile. Gary and his techs did a wonderful job on the inspection. They hit all the points I texted to the wife. They even put down if there was an issue what it would cost me if I had them do it. The checked for codes and there was t any. They pointed out the biggest issue was the front brakes and rotors. Checked for any leaks and evidence of burning oil. I’d highly recommend them. They are very knowledgeable and passionate about the cars they work nearly as much passionate they are about their customers.

We have been coming here for years, but not sure we have ever left a review and I know those can be so important! Gary and Peggy are REALLY great. Today, brought my daughter’s car in because the check engine light has been going on and off and we got a message about something oil related a couple of days ago. When Gary scanned the vehicle, there were a couple of fault messages, which for me, I have no idea, they could be a big deal, but he didn’t seem concerned and said we could watch it. Suggested just an oil change with an additive and we will watch it. (Example of trustworthiness — I know a common fear with car mechanics is that they may tell you more needs to be fixed than actually needs to be…especially for those of us that may not know as much about cars!) When I said, how do I watch it, he said, I’ll show you. So before I left, he showed me how to check the oil and how to monitor oil consumption through the car’s system on the screen. Really, we have always have had great experiences here, but today really stood out to me and I feel better than ever about coming here. Also, when I was in the waiting room, I overheard that all of their Google reviews recently disappeared (something to do with Google back in November), so hopefully that will be resolved, but if this is the only review showing — they have been in business for around 40 years and I know they had GREAT reviews before (how we found them!) — but truly FIVE+ STARS!!

Please be careful. My car never got fixed and showed same codes as before I went there I had fault codes indicating that the timing change is out of time. Can shaft and crack shaft position sensor faults . I talked to Gary and he said no problem we get cars like this all the time and would take 2 to 3 days. Said we can start next week on Monday. Took my car there and dropped it off on a Sunday. Put keys in mail box and hoped for the best. I asked at least 4 to 5 times for an estimate in writing just in case. Never got one They didn’t start on it till the following week (7 days after they knew told me they would. I was in a rental paying out of pocket to get to and forth from work that week. Once they did get time to work on it it did only take 3 days to repair I got the car back drove 1 block and the same faults came back. I took it back to Gary and he said to put a new cam shaft position sensor and installed myself. Still showing same faults. Gary said well I can get you in the the shop to double check the chain. But again I would have to wait another week again. Finally got the car back in to double check the belt and of course they said it all correct but could be the variable timing gear but this job is big and would include take off the head and replacing the entire camshaft. I asked for a quote multiple times but they said that they will send it right over. Never did. About a month later the timing chain locked up. So after paying close to $3600 now my car is junked. Sorry for being so long LOL

I’ve been taking my BMWs to Gary and Peggy here for years. They are truly top notch and do excellent work. They are 100% trustworthy and I’ve proven that on multiple occasions, most recently last week. My daughter goes to school in Omaha and has a 2016 BMW 320i drive. It’s a great car with 104k miles, but well maintained. The past year or so, it’s has some issues with slow cranking. We thought we had a decent shop in Omaha and we took it there. They said after diagnostics, that the servomotor and eccentric shaft were bad and that was why the car had slow cranking. They quoted me $4330.00 to fix the car. I did some research and read that sometimes a bad battery or one with low voltage could cause the servomotor and related fault codes. The car drove fine and idled fine once started. So, because there was no way I was spending over $4k on that car without getting a second opinion, I got the car and brought it to European Motorsports. They determined the battery had low voltage and that was causing the other fault codes. They replaced the battery and registered it to the car. This solved the problem for under $600. I had sent Gary the other shop’s quote, so he knew what they wanted to charge me. He saved me thousands of dollars and the car starts and runs great now. This is the only shop I’ll use for my cars! Gary and his team at European Motor Works are fantastic to work with. I’ve known Gary for many years, and he’s always been reliable and professional. My family owns a CLK350, SL63, SL55, and a C300—we take all of them to European for everything they need. I wouldn’t trust anyone else with our cars.
