I came here to get a wheel alignment. My car is in pretty rough shape and they explained everything to me. The alignment would not have helped so it wasn’t done and I didn’t get charged for anything. Had an appointment was told it would take 2 hours and they would call. I called after 3 hours they hadn’t even started working on my car. What’s the point of appointments if you don’t hold them? Had they communicated they were behind I wouldn’t have minded. Then when my car was finally ready they guy threw my keys at me and walked away. Dont expect communication or customer service at this place.

I've brought my Rialta camper in for service here a few times for suspension, brakes, wheel bearings and alignment. They were all very friendly and helpful. I asked if I could be around when they had it up on the lift to look over the underside and did a thorough safety check and inspection of all the steering/suspension components. I'm very pleased with the service and cost at this establishment!!

Excellent, trustworthy shop in the Duluth area! My daughter in college needed some work done on her car. They provided an estimate for repairs but because she was coming home for Christmas break, I chose to do the work myself. She scheduled an appointment for the remaining work to be done and not only did they finish the job but actually saved us some money on parts which were no longer needed. GREAT PLACE and I highly recommend them to anybody who needs a reputable shop.

I had a wheel alignment and brake check done here. Easy to schedule and communicate with. They told me my brakes were still good, which I very much appreciated as they could have told me they were shot and charged me for new ones. I will dwfinitely bring my vehicle to them when it is time for brakes or other maintenance.

Had my vehicle here when I lived in Duluth after getting new tires. The insides of the old rear tires were completely worn out when I purchased the car. I specifically mentioned that to the guy when I dropped my car off. When I picked it up they said everything was "within spec" which was a lie. I went to have another alignment at a different place and the back bolts are completely seized up and unable to move so the car can not even be properly aligned.

We are very pleased with the service, cost, and turnaround time. We had received an estimate far more expensive from Arrowhead Auto Body, and then they refused to do any work after my husband did some of the work on his own. Stopped in unannounced at Johnson's, and they graciously took on the project-- at a far lower cost. We really appreciate this genuine, caring work!! Hope to never have a need again-- but if we do we will certainly return!

Have brought my BMWs here in the past for alignments on stock suspension and didnt have problems. However, when I brought it for alignment after coilovers, my alignment was still off - front and rear. Called to get it re-aligned and it was another week wait but Ill go elsewhere cause I dont have time to keep bringing my car in for the same thing. Nice guys at least.

I have since completely deleted my last review, and this is now edited, in a way I never thought I would have to. I am EXTREMELY unimpressed by Johnson's as of late. Have had my 2010 fx50 in multiple times as they installed the coils and did a great job. However Ive still been chasing down some bad wheel shake. Brought it in to them to ask them if it was my outter tie rods, or my CV's as I had noticed something leaking and just didn't have the time to pull it apart at that time and don't have the best space and resources. They told me my CV's and tie rods were fine, that I needed lowers. After ordering and replacing $500+ lowers, I observed myself that the Cv's were in fact leaking and held together with zip ties. The car continued to have wheel shake and after pulling the car apart AGAIN this weekend the CV's are completely shot. Told them multiple times they could drive the vehicle if need be and they could do whatever they needed to do but that I just didn't have time to diagnose it/do the work at the time and wanted a second opinion bc it needed to be done sooner than later. Here I am backtracking on all the work myself anyway and rather upset as I don't have another daily driver at the moment. Lower when I pulled it wasn't nearly as bad as they claimed and I could've used all of that time and money to instead be replacing my shot CV's had they taken their time and diagnosed it correctly. Observed the bad CV's as soon as I lifted it a couple weeks later to do the lower, was BLATANTLY obvious. Not too pleased, this shop has seemed to go pretty down hill the past year or so. VERY UNIMPRESSED, go to driveline specialists instead.

They were able to straighten a bent 7k axle on my tandem dump trailer. They were able to get me in from the time I called in about 10 days and they fixed it in 4 hours. Their communication was decent and I would recommend them to others.
