Whole reason I went there was to get air pressure checked and air in my tires while getting an oil change I asked him twice and he said yes I did drive around some more it will show. He Did not put air in my tires and still have a tire without air. 🤬😡 Hate that I was lied to.

Had my oil changed by a smaller local place where I live on Tuesday. After I made my trip to Duluth for the weekend, I found out I had smallish spots of oil leakage where I parked this week. So I stopped by Valvoline on Miller Hill to see if they could help me troubleshoot and fix the problem. Thomas at Valvoline looked at my vehicle and corrected what was wrong and asked me to come back in a couple hours to make sure all remained good before I made my 2-hour drive back home. The service was exceptional - friendly, attentive and helpful. Highly recommend!!

Well I heard them talking about a gas leak and was talking to the manager or something about it and the manager never mentioned it to me but I did hear the worker say to the manager he was smelling gas to the manager, but rather than say anything they just had me just drive off. I also was interested in getting a fog light put in that I had out and they said there was a $20 option and a $37 option and I said I would take the $20 option if they had it and they said they didn't know which one they had and said well maybe you just want to skip it till next time so I said okay.

If I say add some air in the back tire do it. Because chevy air sensors update when putting air in. And 15 min my butt I waited almost a hour a half before going into the stall. It is your job to make sure you are doing the job correctly and make our Cars and trucks to make it down the road safely. If I was management I might get some new workers there.

They can accommodate a Ford Transit 350 XLT and other than a wait because of the volume of people trying to get an oil change, they're efficient and easy to work with. Tired of sitting in line... no one directs which line, and this is the 5th time I've waited over 45 min to get in had to leave my place today... only 2 cars ahead of me, it doesn't take that long for every car. I'll never be back to this place. Oil changes are pretty annoying, tell them your only interested in the oil change and still they try to up sell... ok fine, but I shouldn't have to tell them more than 2 or 3 times, beyond that it's a waste of time. Poor management?

Absolutely, crazy slow. App currently says 1-10 minute wait and I have been sitting outside for an hour. I've watched 3 vehicles get out of line and leave, and they have serviced 1 car in that time. Not sure if they need more employees or if they're pumping the oil out of the ground first.

Team work at its Best. We couldn’t get into our Toyota dealership for a month so my husband told me he heard nothing but great things. So very impressed with this place. You stay in your vehicle and they take out your filters so you can see them if needed to replace. They vacuum/suck out your old oil so it gets the sediment out and also saves on the oil pan. Friendly and fast and very knowledgeable. Never going to our dealership again for an oil change. Replacement of batteries in Minnesota is very important as batteries do not last as long per my husband. They know Toyota’s very well. If you do not know what TEAM WORK looks like come here. I recommend all bosses to come see the TEAM WORK as there is No micromanaging going on here

Got an oil change I had an issue afterwards but the manager Thomas I think his name was, was absolutely amazing and fixed the issue no charge for me. Some places will blame you and won’t take accountability but they were absolutely amazing and fixed the problem right away. Best experience I have had at any auto shop before.

Our tech shared with us that he was on both the top and bottom side when we got there. He was doing a great job. I wish I remembered his name. He got us wipers & an oil change for our Subaru and sent us on our way. He didn’t try and upsell stuff we didn’t need but did inform us of a couple things. Awesome experience. Remember you pay for convenience, and that’s partly why 4 stars instead of 5. The price we paid was very high.

Survey Comment: Tyrell, I believe he is one of the Managers working at the Duluth, MN location at 4431 Trinity Road. One of my kids and I were looking to find a shop that could install a new battery on a shorter notice (during some very cold weather in MN this week) -- and after checking a few other shops including a dealership where the Suburban was purchased -- everyone had no time or not enough techs around for a quick battery replacement. That all changed when I happened to turn around as I was driving past Valvoline Instant Oil Change with my youngest son -- I said Valvoline Oil Change looks to still be open around 6:45 PM -- so we pulled in and Tyrell greeted us and said as long as we have a battery that fits your Suburban specifications -- we'll take care of you. He was very helpful, friendly, and customer service oriented from the time we first spoke through the battery installation. Also, I believe this Valvoline shop was set to close on Friday, 1/23/26 at 7:00 PM -- however, Tyrell never worried about this and/or mentioned it. And he and his crew were also working on a few other vehicles when I arrived 15 minutes before close. They had one bay open -- and he said pull in -- we have both a standard and AGM battery for your Suburban. All said, Tyrell's professional & helpful / courteous approach was very much appreciated on a very cold stretch of weather in Northern MN / Duluth with high temps around -10 degrees and lows in the -30 degree range. And with needing a new battery quickly with some weekend hockey road trips for our kids -- his timely and friendly service was appreciated! Thank you Tyrell. We will be back to Valvoline in Duluth.
