After a few recent visits to see Mike with multiple issues, I will be a loyal customer. Pricing is fair and honest and I will definitely return for any future repair needs. I had a problem that was not clear and Mike was very honest and did not do any unneeded repairs and spent a lot of time trying to figure out what the problem was. The pricing and work is made clear before being done and communication is great.

A few days ago on my way from Central Entrance Dr. to Leif Erikson Park, the low tire pressure indicator was on, and one tire showed only 25psi then, and it kept dropping quickly. I did a quick search and found this store 0.6 mile away. So I drove to it immediately and managed to get there with pressure only 5psi. The staff in the office welcomed me and after learned my issue, a technician came to bring my car in the garage and worked on it right away. Within 15 minutes he patched the tire. Great job! I with my child traveled all the way from west coast and drove the rental car from Minneapolis to Duluth. We planned to see Lake Superior and also go to Gooseberry Falls then drive back to Minneapolis the next day. The flat tire upset us but the excellent service by Automedics staff saved our day! Really appreciate their professionalism and kindness. (sorry I forgot to ask their names)

These guys were so friendly and helpful! I was in town for a conference and about to head home- 4.5 hours away- when my tire pressure light came on. I happened to see this shop and pulled in. They immediately looked at my car, found the problem (new tires were overinflated) and fixed it within minutes. I was on the verge of tears and they eased my anxiety so I felt safe all the way home. And they didn’t even charge me. 💕 I will be stopping here if I ever need anything while I’m town again!

Mike and the team at Automedics is the only place in town I have ever let touch my car (unless Mike sent me there) in over 6 years. What finally got me to write this review is sitting in the waiting area and being 1 of 3 young, 20 something’s women, that were here. Listening to Mike have the same conversation with one young woman relaying information between her and her dad, the same way he’s done for me for years. Being a young woman and finding a trustworthy mechanic is still hard to this day. The way Mike treats ALL customers with kindness, honesty, and compassion while often offering gentle education on the vehicles we drive and how to properly maintain them is truly commendable. Every time I come in he treats me like one of his own!!

Honest and Friendly service. They inspected for an oil leak, found it was a valve cover gasket and got me an appointment within a week. Great interaction and a quick repair. A couple years ago I called around for a wheel bearing replacement and they were the cheapest. Multiple friends recommended Automedics and I now pass on this recommendation. They work on foreign and domestic vehicles. Give them a ring

Misdiagnosed the issue. After $350 in "repairs" car stopped running 12 blocks from the garage. Refused to fix their mistake, issue any sort of partial refund, or put any of the money we already spent towards fixing the real issue. They didn't even have the decency to take off the $45 diagnostic/code reader fee they charged us for a process that missed the key issue. You can't trust their work or their customer service. Really disheartening.

The best! Honest wokers and great customer service. I was told my breaks needed replacing at another business and when I took my car here they were honest and gave me a call to let me know I had about 8 months of use left on the breaks. Instead of going ahead and doing them they were honest and allowed me to save a few hundred dollars. Will be taking my car here every time in the future and recommending them to everyone!

Mike and his team are very skilled in many ways, and particularly good at diagnosis. The repair work is always done well and reasonably priced. BTW, if I were a mechanic looking for a good place to work, working at Automedics would be my first choice. Wished this shop could expand ~ they are a great locally owned business.

I have been bringing vehicles here for 15 years because I trust them to do quality work and give me honest answers. I have never been overcharged or felt swindled. They set the bar high and others should strive to provide the kind of service they provide.

My brakes completely bit the dust yesterday afternoon and Automedics was the closest place to me. I dragged my car in, fully expecting to be carless through the weekend. They got my car back to me before noon today, and the fix was a very reasonable price!

I don’t normally leave reviews, but man these guys left me with a really nasty feeling after going to them to get work done on my car. If you’re a female and don’t know anything about cars…. I wouldn’t trust these guys as far as you could throw them, go somewhere else. I Came here 2 times, the first time I left because they were initially being unreasonable - right off the bat I told them over the phone and in Person that I had the full list of my up to date diagnostic codes and that they didn’t need to run a diagnostic on my car because I could give them the codes so we could just start the work, they proceeded to scan my car anyways (same exact codes popped up) and tried to charge me for it. I got them to waive that fee because they could see they mishandled the situation. Since they corrected the issue, I decided to come back and actually get the work done. When i came back a second time they proceeded to try to screw me out of money again. Right when they first started the work, they realized found the problem was completely different, but told me the estimate would be the same due to the similar amount of time it would take. Even though I requested an exact estimate he proceeded to work on the car without giving me that and mislead me on cost so I would agree to getting the work done. It took less than an hour to fix the problem , when the original work was supposed to take an hour and a half to 2. They over charged me $236 when the original work/estimate was supposed to be $170 without the code diagnostic. These people scammed me out of nearly $70 if not more when the problem they actually corrected took less time and was less extensive. Steer clear of this place.

Brought my 2002 Ford Ranger into 4th Street Auto Repair because it was leaking transmission fluid everywhere. Was told it needed a transmission cooler line replaced. Quoted $920. Called Auto Medics right down the street and he said if he has to replace both lines it'll only be about $400-$500. 4th Street was trying to charge me $111 for just the transmission fluid! Over $600 in labor for 90 minutes work! I paid 4th Street for the diagnostic time and brought my truck to Mike at Auto Medics and was told he might get it done by Wednesday. UPDATE: It's about 12:40PM on Wednesday and Auto Medics just called and the repair bill is $297. Not $920! Going to pick it up right now! 11/10 would recommend!

They replaced my power steering lines on my Honda Odyssey, a few months ago, took about 2 hours. I haven't had any issues since. Good communication and customer service. When the price ended up being $10 more than they quoted me, they refunded the extra $10 immediately. I have struggled in the past to find trust worthy mechanics in this city. I am happy with this outfit. Whenever I have called to set up an appointment they are always booked out 2 weeks.

So kind and helpful. As a woman, it is a relief to deal with an auto mechanic who isn't trying to take advantage of you. Found my issue in under a minute, gave me sound advice, and didn't charge a thing. I will now recommend to everyone just because he didn't try and charge me, and ya'll know the other mechanics would have.

I recently took my LS400 here for oil leaks. I believed it to be the cam seals, which is a pretty big project that involves taking a lot of the engine apart. When the day of the appointment came, they said they'd have it done by the next day, and they did! They also found it to be leaking pretty significantly from other locations. They were very communicative with me, and provided great, honest, in-depth descriptions of what was being done to the car and what was going on with it. I gave them the go ahead to continue working on it. They continued to provide great communication with me and got the job done in a timely manner. Though it was a more expensive repair, the pricing was very fair for what it was. The customer support was great, and I will continue to come back in the future. I would definitely recommend Auto Medics
