Jon was impatient and hung up on me on the phone when I asked him a simple question. I had my mechanic from my hometown also call him. The mechanic said Jon got a little upset when he called to talk to him about the problem I was having to simply give him more understanding of the situation. From the jump, I explained to Jon that while "traveling" to OKC I was having problems with the car shifting gears and that with research it seems to be the PCM as I told the first mechanic. Jon diagnosed it to the tipm module, which was fine, but it wasn't the issue. He finally in the end said it was the PCM (which is what I initially told him and the first mechanic was likely the issue). Jon said he took it out on the highway and the car shifted gears fine. When my brother picked up the vehicle, it had the SAME issue. I called Jon to ask him how it did on the highway. He proceeded to say He didn't drive it on the highway because "I didn't say the highway". First, what mechanic hears "issue with shifting gears" and doesn't drive it on the highway??? That's when the car shifts gears the most. Second, if i told you the issue happened when i was traveling on the highway, why as a mechanic would you then proceed to drive it in the neighborhood. He said it did fine when he drove it in the neighborhood. However, MOST cars with issues shifting gears do just fine in neighborhoods regardless because you're driving a lower speed. The 1 star rating is because he was kind enough to allow my car to sit at his shop for 2 weeks til I could pick it up, but to find out the car is still not shifting gears is disappointing.

Great Guy!! Very reliable and flexible to your schedule and needs of service done!! Best prices in the city!! Honest and straight forward guy on services needed. Just moved to this side of town and had an emergency with my vehicle and it was kinda after hours when I called but he said bring it and worked on it past his work hours time to get the job done!! Jonathan is the best mechanic I've found in the Oklahoma City area for my 2008 Subaru Forester XT. I found him because he is highly recommended on an OK Subaru Facebook group and I've used him to replace my radiator, do a full timing belt job, and diagnose some fluid leaks. He was super flexible when I called his cell phone on a weekend and asked I could have my car towed to his shop after the original radiator had cracked and he took care of everything. He is really familiar with the quirks of Subarus and had good recommendations for what parts need to be replaced and where I could reasonably save money. I trust him and would recommend him to others.

Had brakes done on car. Brakes didn’t feel right so I took it back same day to have Jon re evaluate. He bled the brakes said it was good to go!! I still didn’t feel great about the brakes and told Jon. He said it’s probably air in the line it will settle the more you drive it. A week later the front caliper came off the rotor while my I was driving to work!!!!! Thank goodness I wasn’t on the highway with my kids and all stop lights were green. I was able to get it stopped in work parking lot. Very scary to say the least!!! Took pictures to show Jon so I could get my money back. Jon would not refund my money because I had car towed to a shop 1mile from where car was. He said he didn’t get to inspect the car and he wasn’t going to return my money even though I sent him video of the caliper hanging off the rotor. He didn’t tighten the caliper bolts that’s why the brakes failed. There wasn’t enough pressure in the system because when the caliper came off it pushed the caliper piston out with all the brake fluid. Thus other wheels couldn’t properly function. This could have been life altering!!! All I asked was for a refund. Jon hung up on me and blocked my calls.

They perform simple services like a oil change and more complicated services like a turbo J-Pipe install. They provide great customer service and keep you in communication on the progress of your vehicle. They offer fair and competitive prices, that a rare thing now a days.

Driving across the country to Arizona the AC in my 2004 GMC Savana van went out and I needed someone with equipment to evacuate the system so I could replace a part myself and then have it recharged. With everywhere else on Sunday closed, I gave Jon a call and he told me to come on down no problem. The entire time I was there he was super personable and friendly. He strives to do right by his customers and be an honest businessman. If you bring your car to Jon’s auto solutions he will get the job done right and treat you fairly.
