Waiting over a month for an appointment for nothing! Got there and was told I had to pay for my part before it could be serviced! Two weeks later the part came in and I was not even notifying! Talk to the manager waited 2 hours and my car still did not have the part put on! My service technician acted like he didn't even know why I was there!!! They lied about services rendered , like tire rotation air pressure and tires was never done!! Very bad experience may take my car Elsewhere for service!!

Recently the engine seized up in my 2015 Kia Sportage and I had it towed to JTs Kia of Columbia for repair. Apparently it is a common issue because it was fixed at no charge to me under some campaign they have. Cool. After they had my car for 3 weeks. I got it back and some of the components weren't working properly (door lock/fob and heated seat issues). These things were working perfectly when my car died. At my appointment today they told me that they did not touch these parts to replace my engine. I don't expect that they did, but when my engine seized it shorted the starter and it seems like a couple of other things as well. Of course they want $700+ dollars to fix it in addition to the $147 Diagnostic fee I had to pay. Ridiculous. Will not go back here again!!!

These cars are all Junk? Customer service is the worse I have ever seen anyone! am in the same situation as everyone else has mentioned. I have a 2015 Sportage and I had to have it towed in because they said don't drive it if the engine is making a noise it's probably the part on recall. I get the car to JTs and they want 175 before they would do anything. This is a lousy way to treat people and I will never buy another Kia or recommend one to anyone.All the cars are junk and they don't stand behind them. I even tried for two days to talk to someone at the corporate level and got the same thing.This was. The third KIA I had but the only one I actually paid off and after that they wouldn't do anything on it as far as looking into the recalls.I live an hour away so this whole ordeal has been frustrating to say the least. I have a 7 year old car that is junk because they failed to even help with by putting on the recalls. Stated the last recall was sent out in 2019 and you didn't get it done. COVID was also going on . Junk cars don't buy one

We bought a brand new 2023 Kia Sorento on Feb23, everything went fine with buying process. 6 months later (august23) we bring it back in due to loud “knocking ” noise under the hood. I called Kia Service immediately and they told me they couldn’t look at it until October23 even though I just bought it that I would have to wait. The noise continued to get louder and would feel like it hesitates to go when pressing the gas. My husband calls back and they say to bring it in to be checked. So we planned a trip (an hour and a half away from us) to go get it check and they tell us they don’t have a rental to give us then after going back and forth they finally give us the smallest car they have although we had an SUV. 1 week goes by, so I call to get an update and they have no update, 2 weeks go by they have no update and says “Jonathan” will call me back in 20 mins. No one ever called and 3 weeks have passed at this point. I call again to get the same spill that Jonathan will call me back after lunch. He never called. 4 1/2 weeks go by and I’ve called and called again to hear the same story that someone will call me back and no one has ever called me or told me anything. I feel that we have been more than patient enough in this time, and we are very frustrated at this point. We’ve made 7+ phone calls to Kia Service department and no one has been able to tell us anything. We dropped the car off on August 18th and I were already into October with no diagnosis or a simple phone call to explain the time frame. I’m not the type of person to leave a bad review but I wouldn’t recommend this place of business to anyone!!!

We were shopping around for a new Kia Sorento. The first person. To approach us was Vic. He is friendly and very knowledgeable on the questions we had. He didn't try to suggest or talk us into any other vehicle which we experienced at other dealerships. Vic made it very comfortable and was transparent through the whole process. Thank you, Vic, for that. Overall the Kia team is awesome and would definitely recommend and hopefully purchase another Kia from them when the time comes.

So I went ahead and purchased a 2023 Kia forte, and I have to give all the credit and props to Preston. He was very attentive. He answered and all of my questions he showed a lot of support. I was also interested in the K5 and that did not work out however, he made me feel very comfortable with the choice that I made, which was with the Kia forte I just didn’t want to pay more in price so that is why I ended up there but I have to give 100% support to Preston because he was just simply amazing and very kind and very understanding. Both my daughters are with me, and he understood that they were just being protective of mom. I am considering previous circumstances and I just have to say that , he and the finance manager on 110% and just for the record this is the third vehicle that I have my family has purchased from JT’s Kia

I purchased a vehicle from this dealership. Unfortunately, the experience seemed good until I left the dealership. Already hating the car hunting experience, but having good experiences previously, this post purchased experience made matters worse. Issues regarding the car were never followed up on. After several attempts to gain assistance from management, I was given the runaround, even with documentation. I resolved the issue myself. My advice to anyone else thinking of making a purchase with this group; check your closing documents thoroughly. Take pictures of anything you are signing, even before reaching the finance department. Make sure you cross reference ALL documents and numbers agreed upon once you are in the finance office. Most importantly, screenshot and take pictures of all advertising and vehicle features and be prepared legally to enforce any issues not resolved with supporting documents.

The experience here was great! I had just purchased a 2016 Kia Optima SXL (Beautiful car might I add!) from another dealership as is! It only had 68k miles on it! This was my first purchase on my own so I was ecstatic! Literally about a month later, while I was in Columbia visiting family, my engine started making loud noise, reduced power and the check engine light began to flash and the engine started KNOCKING! To make a long story short, I had to get the car towed to the dealership on a Sunday and had to find my way back to Myrtle Beach where I reside. You could imagine how I felt! Nikolas Laney was my advisor and he quickly made me feel comfortable and eased my anxiety! He was very knowledgeable and great at his job! He communicated with the dealership I bought the car from and handled everything! Kia ended up replacing my engine under the campaign PI1802 with no charge! So now I basically have a new car! The car was done in less than a week too, so that made it even better! Thanks JT’S Kia!!!

The supervisor of the service department should be ashamed of overseeing this department. I have taken my car in on several occasions because the check engine light was on. This department has dismissed my issue every single time. I’ve heard every excuse in the book- “you don’t have an appointment, you will have to wait all day,” “the light isn’t on, we can’t check it,” “our computers aren’t working,” “we are working through a construction”. What are the chances that every time i visit this establishment there’s an issue. I waited for the light to be on and made an appointment. On top of making an appointment, i dropped it off an hour early. I did not receive a call, so around 1:10, i called to check the status- I was told i will get a call back. the technician called back an hour later just to let us know the car hasn’t been seen by the technician. He also stated that we may not get the car back today. He would call in 90 minutes for an update . The reasons given were, construction and walk ins . This is unacceptable that I have taken my car three times to be seen and been dismissed each time. Do not waste your time here. If being treated badly is your thing then this is the perfect place for that.

I called to inquire about their inventory and all of my questions answered quickly and thoroughly. When I came in, John was my salesman and he was great. The service department has a lot to be desired. The vehicle was not properly inspected after service, and customer service was very poor. Just 52 miles after an oil change, the oil drain plug came out, leaving me stranded off the highway. When I contacted the service department, the situation was treated as if it were a normal occurrence. When I eventually received my vehicle back, it was still covered in oil despite being told it had been detailed. No apology or accountability was offered.
