Do not go here. I took my car here to get a diagnostic test. The person who helped me did not mention the absurd cost to get this done, charging around 250 for an hour and a half of labor. Here is the best part though, they told me I needed new spark plugs and ignition coils because one of the codes threw out a cylinder misfire. The thing is, I already had brand new OEM ignition coils and spark plugs installed around a month ago. The misfire is due to a faulty fuel injector which was confirmed previously. So not only did they charge a ridiculous price, they weren’t even correct in there assessment nor were they aware the ignition coils were brand new. Some diagnostic I got for 250…

Service was excellent. the guys Ryan and Jim keep people happy with their customer service and knowledge of autos. Prices are reasonable a bit higher. But I come back because they keep my car running great even at 200000 miles. To me J W Auto Care is above the rest and I've known a few auto shop in my lifetime. Amazing experience! They squeezed me in for an oil change on my VW while we were in from out of town. They were quick, fairly priced, and did a great job! Topping on the cake- they left a small bouquet of flowers on my dash with a thank you note attached. Class act all the way! I wish I lived closer, because they would be my go to place. JW Auto Care is the only shop I trust and recommend. I primarily work with Ryan and Johnny, and every experience with them has been fantastic. They’re professional, knowledgeable, fair, and truly go above and beyond. As an executive/personal assistant, I manage maintenance for about eight vehicles — and after years of dealing with different shops, JW Auto is the only place I send them. They treat every job, big or small, with urgency and respect, and their consistency gives me total peace of mind. Just recently, my stepmom’s car door lock literally fell apart. I called, showed up in five minutes, and even though they were closing, they fixed it on the spot in under 20 minutes — no hesitation. That kind of service is almost unheard of. This was by far the worst experience ever. First we asked them to inspect it, we planned an appointment then they proceeded to tell us that we cannot pick up our car because it was closing and we’d have to get it Monday. We said no we have places to be so they said they’d leave our car out by the curb and our keys in a lock box. Once we get there they had put out the wrong car. Anybody could have stolen and taken that car. Good thing somebody was there and we were able to get our car back. They told us a specific part was going out and that it would be about 3000 dollars to replace. So we went to three different locations only to find out that they had given us false information. Our alternator was not broken. The Idler pulley bearing is the actual broken part, and it would roughly be 70 dollars to replace, and 200 dollars for the labor of a different company to do it. We were convinced by JW Auto care that our car would maybe catch on fire, and break down if we don’t get our alternator replaced.

Where do I begin..I bought a 2022 Jeep Wrangler in April this year with 30,000 miles, 4,000 miles and some off-roading later a noise could be heard from the front driver side. A few knowledgeable friends and friendly motorists mentioned it could be; bearings, belt, more serious, etc. Being new to the area I googled shops with good reviews and Jeep specialty. JW auto popped up and they were more than accommodating to get my vehicle to their location. After my inspection they informed me that the issue was the alternator, a $2,500 part as it’s an etorque hybrid. A mopar look up let me know this part is $1,600 online. I offered to purchase the part and bring it in, which they stated was not their policy, understandable. I found a shop that would, purchased the alternator. I called JW auto and asked to pick my vehicle up before the weekend which seemed to perturb the woman at the front desk. She made arrangements for my keys to be in a lock box and vehicle sitting out front. Fast forward to picking up the jeep…what jeep? There was a very nice 2025 sitting where they said mine would be, lock box opened and someone else’s property unlocked. I went around to an open shop bay where the owner was on the phone asking one of his mechanics why my jeep was in his bay with the hood up asking if it’s “good to go”. I’m already concerned about the organization of this shop, now I’m questioning the diagnosis. Chapter two: I take my jeep to another shop (willing to put in an alternator I bring) the following weekend. They install my brand new alternator with the same noise sounding from the front left. They asked me where I got my diagnosis from..when I said JW Auto, unfortunately others share my same experience. I was told that a half way experienced mechanic can tell when a noise is coming from the alternator vs. the idler pulley bearings, a $78 dollar part that this 2nd shop graciously ordered and installed free of charge. I paid in total $2,600 and have a perfectly good alternator in my garage when I could have spent less than $400 thanks to JW Auto. All the while they were eagerly texting me about returning to fix the alternator, promising discounts and loaner vehicles, don’t fall for it. They would have fixed that idler pulley and charged me $2,500 for an alternator. I don’t know how Johnny thinks you retain or have repeat business, but it’s not by being a crook.

Jim was super friendly and helpful with a full diagnosis of my vehicle. While the diagnostic fee is more than I’ve paid in the past, it was entirely worth it. They gave my vehicle a full look through without rushing or missing any small faults. He addressed every possible concern and gave repair advice without the pressure other shops can put onto the customer. I’ll be returning for my future repairs!

I was on a vacation in Scottsdale all the way from Kansas when I started having some engine issues in my 2019 MB A220. I immediately called JW Friday morning and worked with Ryan. Got the car in, and had a diagnosis within a few hours. Although the news weren't particularly great, the team at JW walked me through best next steps and went above and beyond to make sure I was informed every step of the way. The team spent time researching the issue and learned that this was an issue with this specific motor that was currently under a warranty extension. They worked directly with Mercedez Benz of Scottsdale. Upon confirmation that this issue was covered Ryan provided me all the information I needed to begin the warranty process with MB, and they took it from there. I am thoroughly impressed with Ryan and the team at JW, they turned something extremely negative into a 'not so bad'. I am very thankful to the team and cannot recommend them enough.

I'm thankful I found JW. For this first visit I had basic maintenance with an oil change, etc... They went over my auto with a fine tooth comb and gave me a comprehensive report with photos and info so that I can assess maintenance coming up. My car is a 10 year old gem and want to keep her in great shape... I'm sure I'll be able to with this shop and mechanic.

Brought my car in for a full inspection and maintenance as I was moving cross-country and driving over 2k miles that weekend. They said everything was great, no issues. I went on the trip two days later (had not driven the car on a highway since picking it up) and immediately when I got on the highway, my car was making very loud flapping and dragging noises from the front end. I pulled over and noticed that they had never properly attached the bottom engine cover / splash shield, which was hanging on both sides, barely held on at all! Since I was already out of town on Saturday, they were closed and I couldn't do anything but find a way ASAP to get it fixed on the way. I called the shop and left a message and the owner (Johnny) called me back. Between leaving and the next place I could stop to have it checked, one side of the cover had completely broken off (see picture). While the owner did help me find a place out of town to get a short, quick fix (zipties to hold it together), he refused to take any responsibility for it and said he'd need to talk to his team on Monday to see what happened and call me back. Well a week has passed, and he never got back to me. At best, they didn't break it but they completely missed the most obvious inspection (remember that's the #1 reason I came in and paid for their services); At worst (and more likely) they quickly put my car back together, broke or misplaced the clips that keep the cover in, and didn't remember or notice they hadn't properly reinstalled the cover (which would be straight up negligent). JW Auto screwed me over really bad and made for an already stressful cross-country drive even worse and much harder. The fact that they wouldn't take any responsibility, didn't offer any refund or compensation (I now will have to pay to get it replaced), and they simply ignored me since the incident, is shameful. In all my years I've never had a worse experience with a mechanic, and to think it came from a longstanding, "trusted" local place. Will be disputing the service with my CC company in the amount it will cost to have the cover replaced. Shame on JW Auto and Johnny. Edit: Realized another issue! One of the reasons I came in for an inspection was I had a dash light on I didn't know what it was for. They never mentioned it, left it on, and didn't notice that it meant one of of taillights was out! Again, why was I paying for an inspection if you're not going to catch anything?! I diagnosed this myself well after. Seriously complete rip off and once again has me wondering what they did with my car.

First visit . Even better than I expected . Had a first oil change on a new Camry that dealer wanted to wait til 10,000 miles on . At 5,500 , had JW do the synthetic 0- 08 w oil change and inspection. Jim and Cathy in the office were AMAZING . Outside and shop staff were truly kind as well. Just great people who genuinely seemed to care about me and my car. The office and shop ( 11 bays ) were immaculate. Dealership won’t see me much . I found my new auto care providers . Couldn’t be happier . A wonderful find for me and my new rig.
