I attempted a simple inquiry in person about the services and the owner treated me as if I were wasting his time and even used foul language. I wouldn't recommend this establishment simply based on the lack of professionalism and customer service. How is it possible to treat a prospective customer with so much disregard and disrespect?

Came here with a fairly unique brake problem in a 2011 Lexus that involved a faulty ABS module that I swapped out myself with a used part I got on eBay. The work resulted in spongey brakes, the 'BRAKE MALFUNCTION/CHECK ABS' lights coming on, and realizing I had severely rusted bleeder valves that couldn't open. The nature of the problem was such that it could either be handled very cheaply, or very expensively depending on the mechanic you went to, and how they went about it. After going to a number of local mechanics who either tried to upsell me by telling me I needed to replace my calipers ($1000+), and others who simply didn't wanna take the job due to the risk of damage to the valves and the work involved in dealing with it. When I came to KC, I walked in, explained the situation in detail, and he told me to come back in an hour as he had a few cars he was working on at the time. Key point here is the mechanic was actually willing to take a look at the job first in order to SEE the extent of the problem before coming to any conclusions (sign of a good mechanic that isn't trying to rip you off). At the end of the day, he was able to bleed all four brakes, and he event sent me to a nearby local friend to clear the codes FOR FREE, as he didn't have the proper scantool at the time. The best part? He didn't charge a ridiculous amount of money for roughly an hour and a half of work. After all was said and done, I ended up paying $110 which was very fair considering I had functional brakes again and could safely get back on the road. Could not recommend this guy enough, as he is honest and straight to the point. He will not try to sell you on nonsense you don't need just to make a buck. I watched how he dealt with the people who came in before me, and it was clear his main goal was to simply fix the problem, whatever it was. Nothing more, nothing less. Admittedly, he is very busy and is often dealing with multiple cars and customers at the same time, so it can get a bit hectic and cause him to be a bit scatterbrained, so be aware of this. It isn't the most organized operation, but it's understandable. Be patient and understanding. Don't walk in here expecting instant service, as you will likely be told to come back later. The day I went in, he was running the show mostly by himself so it's frankly amazing I was able to get the process done the same day.

Absolutely the worst customer service. Main mechanic is the rudest person ever. You would think I’m coming to an auto shop to get help and they would be nice because I need a service for which they are getting paid for. NOPE. Absolutely rude from the beginning. Even threaten us because we matched his energy. Based off the reviews I’m seeing now he’s just the most unprofessional person. DO NOT COME HERE YOU WILL WASTE YOUR TIME!!

Waste of time and money. Not a trustworthy mechanic. I came in and needed a new battery and alternator. I agreed to this work but then he also replaced a belt without my consent...not a great start. A month later the alternator belt was fraying because of a bent pulley, which he would have seen while installing. 6 months later the alternator and battery went bad. I got a new battery from AutoZone, then returned to him to replace the alternator since it has a warranty. I dropped my car off and he had it for 4 days without doing any work. Every time I called he would give me the runaround and make excuses for why he couldn't replace it. I was tired of dealing with him so I just grabbed my car from his shop.

I was in an urgent bind for a brake job, and a local competitor quoted me over $900 for a single axle. Fluster with the quote, I was driving home when I passed KC Auto. So I figured why not check it out. Cliff immediately put my car up on the lift and had me out soon after, and for a fraction of the price! Very professional and transparent. I’ve been there a couple times. I will never take my car to another mechanic again. They are there to help you not to rob you and they tell you like it is. The price for the repairs are very reasonable not like other mechanics out there trying to rip you off. Just like I said I’ll never go to another mechanic again only these guys.

Unprofessional Service. I won’t be returning. My Car would shut off sometimes when started plus needed an oil change. Take it to KC Auto. $90 later, I’m told no issues found. I paid for my service and left saying thank you-no reply (unprofessional) Later the same day, a friend inspected my car and found that rats had chewed some wires. A little tape and my car was as good as new. In addition, my fluids were not refilled-washer fluid was as empty as it was when I dropped off my car. I felt as if my business was not welcomed at KC Auto. The owner was rude from beginning to end. He seems unable to keep up with the high demand of his service. Instead of short changing customers, he should get some more help.

I bought my car a year and a half ago and looked for a mechanic that was trustworthy and did solid work. I heard good things about KC Auto Repair so when my car stopped working i took a chance. I was very apprehensive as mechanics can basically rob you at a vulnerable time. My experience at KC was great from the moment I arrived with my very sick car til I left with a car that is purring better than when I bought it. Cliff the owner walked me through the process of diagnosis and the expected timeline. He even made suggestions of preventative repairs that could be made to save money down the road. He has fair prices and solid work. I even had him upgrade my brakes which look and perform really well. I noticed he had a few antique vehicles being worked on from collectors. Even collectors trust him. I have found my new mechanic. Thank you Cliff.

The place is a RIPOFF! Quoted me one price for auto repair, than when the job was done, charged a much higher price and claimed the person who gave me the original quote wasn’t authorized to do so because he didn’t actually work there. Fast forward two months later, the same issue I went to them for, started happening again with my car. When I called to inform them of the issue, I was told to bring the vehicle in. I asked what the policy is for repairing an issue they already addressed within such a short time frame and he hung up on me. Will never use their services again and I recommend you think twice about going to them.

I cannot recommend this place enough! I have an old car that breaks a lot. They are reliable, super fast, and are really honest about pricing while providing the cheapest rate in the area. I saw some comments on here that mentioned their head mechanic being a bit abrasive. I find him really kind and super funny as long as you are treating him respectfully. Don’t go anywhere else to get your car fixed, these guys have saved me thousands.
