Lazy, who I assumed may be the manager. They weren’t busy, AT ALL. Maybe one or two cars there. I had to come in to get my tire replaced through a tire & wheel protection program, all they had to do was call the company, the company pays them instantly and they just have to fix the tire. Simple tire change, alignment, etc. simple simple. Instead the person who I explained this to, went and asked I guess who’s the manager and he said, they can’t do that, the other Ken Towery’s by the interstate off 64 is the only one who can do that. So, what did I do, go down there, they were BUSY, slammed. 20-30+ cars deep. They told me they were able to do it by the next day, not only did they do it 4-5 hours before close, SAME DAY, they were SUPER helpful, and hey let me know ANY Ken towerys can do what they did. Just laziness. Just avoid this one and go work with some real professionals & people who you can trust with your car.

Had a last minute tire issue I needed fixed before heading out of town. They fixed it within 30 mins and I was able to get on the road. I’d definitely go back.

I've gone to ken towerys twice in a complete panic and both times they were able to get my car fixed quickly and at reasonable prices. The staff is kind and friendly and very courteous.

Once the 2 and a half hour oil change, rotate and balance, and battery replacement, which was a scheduled appointment, was FINALLY completed, the individual that performed the services backed my truck into a parking space so close I could barely squeeze in, even though the parking lot had MANY open parking spaces. I have no intentions of using Ken Towery again.

We drove our truck up from Texas, and it started acting strangely. We brought it in on a Sunday, and were greeted warmly. By the end of the next day, they had received the parts and it fixed up for a reasonable price! We made it home without any challenges. Praising God for good, honest mechanics!

Drop my truck off for a slow leak in my tire . The tires were under warranty so they fixed it no cost which was great, but I asked asked them to check and top off any fluids that were low. They failed to do that. none of the fluids were topped off, which was disappointing .

I had a 10:00 appointment for an oil change. I dropped the car off a little before 10 and they said it’d be about 2 hours. They had people ahead of me. Why bother even scheduling an appointment. An appointment means you drop the car off and they get started on it right away, not a hour later

I brought in a flat tire. Was told nothing wrong with tire, rim was the problem. Purchased new rim online and returned to have old tire remounted on new rim. Went flat within a hour of returning home. Took tire to another business. They found leak in side wall. Two trips to your location, approx $75.00. New rim (did not need) $95.00. Still had flat tire. Other business solved issue in one visit. Only reason I gave 1 star because Sunday attendant polite.

They did get me in for tire service very quickly. However the end result was not as satisfying, nor the fact that selling me more product was needed in an urgent manner. I called the Asst and Manager and wanted the main manager to call me back and as of today he has not.

Courteous, professional and prompt service from the 1st time I stopped by to get air in tire. Next day, tire was low again. After inspection, I was told that my back tires were dry rotted. Mgr located type of tires I needed at reasonable price. And, they were installed that afternoon.

I went to Ken Towery because another shop cross threaded several lug nuts. KT removed them and of course they broke, i knew that was a possibility. I was told it would be cheaper to replace the wheel bearing then to replace the three damaged studs and the part had to be ordered and would arrive shortly. Fine. I stepped outside to take a call and noticed an Autozone employee making a delivery. Eventually my vehicle was ready, but when it was being backed out, I heard this awful metal on metal sound coming from the vehicle. I said something to the guy covered in grease diving my vehicle about the sound. His response, "I didn't work on the vehicle." I turn to go back inside and let someone know something isn't right, fortunately the service manager was already on it. The mechanic proceeds to take a mallet, lay down under the car in the parking lot, and begin hammering something underneath the car. I'm watching this thinking to myself, "how unprofessional." The servicing manager comes out, tells him to bring the car back inside and complete the repair. I go back in the shop and a different employee is completing the transaction at the register. I say to him, I would like to discuss the price of the wheel bearing, because I could have brought the part from Autozone and saved myself some money. If the part Is $100.00 bucks for me, you're paying less than that. He acknowledged, they pay less than retail, but they don't install customer parts." Okay, I could have it shipped for $37.00. I asked "how much are they charging for the part" to which he condescendingly replied, "your going to pay $705.15." Infuriated, I grit my teeth, pulled out my card swipe and vowed, this is the first and the last time I will ever do business with Ken Towery. My mother who frequently has her Cadillac serviced there, will not be returning ever. I have a friend who gets work done there and I will be letting her know to go elsewhere as well and anyone who mentions needing car repair, I will advise not to go to Ken Towery. You can thank your smart mouth employee begind the counter for the loss of business and damage to your reputation. What should have happened was a negotiation on the price of the part. I went to Autozone and found out the part cost $184.99 which means KT may have paid $80 bucks for the part but charged me $302.30. That is a total ripoff charging a costumer more than 300% for a part they can get from the same store for considerably less. An Autozone employee told me, many of the KT business have closed due to shady business practices. I will never be back and will make it my mission to ensure, no one I come across does business there. Shoutout the 6'7 black man who works there, he and a gentleman with locs were very helpful and cordial.

Took 9.5 hours to change front brake pads, oil change, and rear wiper. Came in at 9:15 and spoke with guy at desk. He said they wouldn’t be able to get to the car for about 2 hours. I say ok then I waited….. and waited…… and waited. Then at 5:45pm I hear Mr Hammond your car is ready. Took way too long and waiting room is trash. Tv didn’t work.

Very unhappy and won’t be coming back. Had been going to the same location for over five years. Did not complete my entire oil change even after I specifically asked for it to be done. Twice Just seems like the staff just doesn’t care. I came and got my car without them doing the repairs (tires)because I decided to go elsewhere and they never blinked an eye. Didn’t ask what they could do or show any concerns what so ever! And also they tried selling new battery when clearly we didn’t need one while waiting to be checked out they were telling two other customers they needed new batteries as well. Seems a little fishy to me.

I will NEVER go to this location again. The location I typically go to didnt have a break tech so they recommended I go to another store. With the 5 star customer service I always get a the Fern Valley/ Preston location I never imagined I would have the experience I did. I took my car in for break pads only. I told the guy I'm in the process of buying a new car and wouldn't even put break on it if I had already found a car I liked. I didn't ask nor need a vehicle inspections but I guess they did it and called me with a list of things wronf with my car. A few things were things I knew was such as my battery wasn't charging ( I just got a new one 3-4 months ago) and needed coolant flush (done 1-2 months ago when I had my water pump put in. The list went on and on which I remind the guy I wasn't putting money in this car jist kut break pads on it. They call after the work is completed and say more bad news my tire bearing were bad and would total me $1300. Ummmm no...definitely not. Sad thing is an elderly women in front of me they kinda did the same things to her with a battery. This store will truly make a list of false things to rob its customers and I felt like I was being harassed and they were determined to get me to come off of more money.

Brought vehicle in for engine light and throttle body issue along with brake drums. Picked up vehicle next day and drove straight home with no issues. Very next morning with start up I get throttle caution light and engine light again. Had to wait throughout weekend until the assigned tech returned to work. Now I have to return to the shop to still have it looked at. For what it cost me, I was expecting a better result. However, I am aware of sometimes it needs a "revisit". I hope to have better results today.

Friendly knowledgeable staff, only negative is that the only mechanic who could operate the equipment necessary to align my tires after I purchased 4 brand tires was off that day so they wouldn’t be able to align them once installed. They did imply that my new tires & alignment seemed fine. I got 4 iron man all season tires and I paid over $600 in total. As a widow whose spouse handled all of these matters I felt like I was treated and charged fairly.

would not even leave a 1 star but it makes me! I brought my ford edge here because I was having a horrible power steering fluid leak. I paid the 120.00 diagnostic fee to have it accessed. Chris called me to let me know it was the power steering hose and the washers that connected the hose as well as my back break light would cost 816.00 I told them ok as long as it was all fixed! he guaranteed it would be to call me back hours later to tell me exactly what we already talked about except this time to replace the washers would cost 2100 dollars! after we already agreed on the 800 so ended up I had to pay 800 dollars for my car to still be leaking worse than it was when I took it there!!!! Mark refused to make it right! and Chris was the one that screwed me over! this company DOES NOT have values or integrity and should be shut down!!!! The workers do not care about customers and will charge price gouge without even fixing your vehicle! You will leave in worse shape physically and financially because they will charge you to not fix the problem!

Unfortunately, I have to report a totally unacceptable experience with the Ken Towery location #1161 - 3800 S Hurstbourne Pkwy Louisville Kentucky. I had an 8am appointment for an oil change and a tire rotation for my wife's 2015 Nissan Rogue this morning. I waited for the vehicle and checked on its progress occasionally. After about an hour, the vehicle was moved from the service bay to the parking lot. As the tech was moving it, I overheard the managers behind the service desk questioning among themselves if the tires had been rotated as requested. I was then called to the desk to pay. At that time, I asked if the tires had in fact been rotated, as I had overheard the manager's conversation, and especially since I neither saw nor heard an impact wrench being used to remove the tires for rotation. At first, the manager stated he thought the tires had been rotated, then stated he wasn't sure, then said he would ask the tech to clarify. I watched and heard the manager's interaction with the tech in the service bay. When asked if he had rotated the tires, the tech (an African American with the first name Joe - so I was told) replied, "I don't get paid to rotate tires, so I didn't do them". The manager responded that the customer had specifically requested that the tires be rotated, so the key was given back to the tech, and he reluctantly walked to the Rogue to move it back into the service bay. I was greatly concerned about the tech's negative attitude and demeanor, to the point that I told the manager that I no longer wanted that tech working on my vehicle. I intercepted the tech at the vehicle and told him I did not want him working any more on my vehicle. I retrieved the key and proceeded to pay for the oil change at the front desk. Both managers apologized profusely for the tech's attitude and behavior, but by then the damage had already been done. I have been a loyal customer at this specific Ken Towery location for years, but due to the tech refusing to do his job, and in a customer area no less, I will not be back. To add insult to injury, I observed the tech eating some sort of snack cake as he exited my vehicle and I had to clean food crumbs out of my vehicle before departing! I did inquire of the managers since my tires had not been rotated at the normal 5000 miles how it would affect my tire warranty. They replied that my warranty would not be negatively impacted. At this point, I'm skeptical of anything I was told by anybody at this location, but I have no real choice in the matter. I just hope that this experience is an anomaly and isn't indicative of the new business model that Ken Towery has undertaken. Thanks for your time

I would highly suggest these guys. They have multiple facilities. Mark and John give excellent information when having your vehicle worked on . They explained the price points which I was happy w and pleased w the fact that if something was a half hour procedure, they only billed me at the time. I actually sure that due to the nature of my problem, it may have taken more time than the book says but still charged me the estimated time suggesting. To be honest, these fine fellas actually brought down just under the estimation for me. The craftsmanship, the service, price point and the "aftercare" related to me by their head technician John was instrumental for the fact I was traveling immediately across country. I can't say enough good things about this business. I wish the entire staff and establishment all the best w their future endeavors. God bless. I hope this reaches people who need quality work done in great timing whilst having to be budget minded. OMG, they are open to 730pm. How incredible. Thanks again
