If you are reading this, be sure to click the tab for recent reviews. Kendall Toyota Service has become so terrible I will never go there again. I went to Lithia Toyota Service instead. Not only was Lithia Toyota Service better, but the technician was better. Lithia Toyota Service SAVED me $400.

My otherwise wonderful 2023 Toyota Sequoia Limited I-Force Hybrid early on developed a piercing front brake squeal that despite multiple efforts by Service Writers at Eugene Kendall Toyota, the Toyota ‘Factory’ just declared it a “Warranty Defect” for which “there is yet NO AVAILABLE REPAIR” !! —-so I was told to just live with it literally indefinitely while “Toyota was working on it (somewhere).” BUT then enter Kendall Toyota’ SERVICE MGR DWAYNE THOMPSON who creatively and figuratively literally (somehow) “put the proverbial cobb” to those at TOYOTA WARRANTY MGT who were obviously oblivious to concepts of Customer Service, pointing out that a ‘new’ solution was not needed as the braking system for my Toyota Sequoia HE FOUND WAS INTERCHANGEABLE WITH PARTS OF A TOYOTA TUNDRA !! Once that ‘hidden in plain sight’ solution was (reluctantly) accepted by TOYOTA WARRANTY MGT, Kendall Service Mgr DWAYNE THOMPSON’s creative ‘fix’ was officially APPROVED, the parts were quickly ordered AND MY SEQUOIA was just remarkably FIXED —again thanks to the just remarkable personal intercession of the SERVICE MGR of Kendall’s Eugene Toyota Dealership. I made an 830 appointment for my 96Tacoma for some engine noises. I hadn't had the truck serviced in a while so I thought I would be safe and bring it to the experts. I called back around 1pm to ask for a progress update, as I hadn't heard anything, and was told the technician hadn't entered anything in the computer but I would be called back soon. Ive been walking around now for good many hours and headed back to the dealership around 3. On my way in I saw my truck parked in the back lot, I went to ask what the time line was and there was still nothing in the computer. So the representative went to go figure out that the deal was. She came back and told me that the 'master technician' wasn't ever able to connect the car to the computer, so nothing at all was done. Since they closed at 5pm, I live 30 min away in Creswell, and I knew my truck was just sitting there, I asked for my keys back. I went to a napa and bought a code scanner. Figured out that it was an engine misfire in cylinder 3 within 15 min. Ive never used one before. I dont know what the hell their technician was doing, or why I was never informed of the problem. I'm just livid that I woke up early, and wasted an entire day waiting only to now need a new appointment at some other shop that maybe knows what their doing. Hopefully the new master technician will be able to figure out more than a novice with 15 min and a picture book guide.

Have always had good service here. Bought our new Tacoma here a year ago. Very frustrating you don't get the color you want on a $40,000 vehicle, but service has been good.

Came in for a factory recall warranty work. They were very on top of the game. Very polite, knew wat they were doing, on time, a bit earily getting their work finished. Offered to shuttle me round-trip. Within walking distance of bike path. N other stores. Called me as soon as they were done. Highly recommend them to future buyers or owners. Be blessed.

KNOWINGLY scammed me a few years ago when i was a teenager who didn’t know better. finally traded it at the Shepard Motors, and they informed me that the car i bought BRAND NEW was almost certainly tampered with multiple times. multiple nails in my tires after an appointment, oil leaks every SINGLE TIME. and eventually after just one year, my transmission failed. i’ve literally never felt more used.

The service center is a scam. I went into do the 30k service which is according to the manufacturer the 30k service is replace the cabin air filter, engine air filter and oil change. It also calls to have an inspection of suspension, brakes, exhaust system, fluid condition, and cooling system, and the man stated I was required to do a brake fluid exchange and a fuel exchange/flush which would have ended in me paying an additional $512. And he refused to check it off stating I got my 30k service since I told him I’m not doing it. I’ve attached the maintenance requirement for reference directly from Toyota.

When I got in line for express service I was worried about how long it might take as there were so many vehicles ahead of mine. When I finally got up to check in I was told the wait would be about an hour. I headed inside and wasn't even able to watch a full 40 min show on my phone before being told my truck was ready to go. I was pleasantly surprised. This visit definitely gets 5 stars.

I cannot say enough good things about Duane Thompson, Kendall Toyota’s Service Director. His diligence and professionalism throughout a complex diagnostic and repair process was top notch. Way to go Duane!!!

Anytime you need major maintenance on your vehicle it can be extremely stressful because of the financial implications among other things . Duane the Service manager at Kendall Toyota really put my mind at ease. He is honest and trustworthy and truly cares about taking care of his clients so they walk away feeling like Toyota exceeded their expectations. My technician Scott Farley was helpful responsive and professional through the entire process and regularly went out of his way to communicate effectively. I couldn’t be happier with my experience at Kendall Toyota.

I have been a customer here for a long time and this will be my last service. I was in line for walk- in to get oil changed the staff walked over to acknowledge me that the line will move forward and will get me check in. When I drove my car forward and waited about 5 mins. Then there was a truck came after me and parked next me and the driver went into the office to get the same staff to check him in before me. So I got out of my car and the staff didn’t even acknowledge me now. When the staff came over to my car so I made a comment “did i just get cut off?” He was saying yeah and tried to say that he had an appointment or something as he was mumbling. Then I made a comment to him that this is not really nice. I would be okay if he had told me that he would get back to me shortly or something but he chose to service the person who came after me and didn’t care if I was waiting. This is rude and disrespectful for customer service.

Services are fine but I feel everytime I bring in my car they are lying about work that needs to be done or trying to get me to spend thousands of dollars on parts the car doesnt urgently need. I got tires from here not long ago and I was told to replace them for 1k even though they were still under warranty, even claiming 1 of the new tires I had was bad but another place said it was fine. I was told 5k to replace a hybrid battery for years cause they said my car might die and I declined. Its tiring to be upselled every time I just want an oil change, it makes me not want to come back after almost a decade of services.

Absolute gems. They went above and beyond to get our rental car tire fixed, even staying late so we could get back on the road toward home. Professional, courteous, and graciously went the extra mile - best car dealership experience I’ve ever had. Would give 10 stars if google let me. Bonus points to Dana, Ashley, and Brian for exceptional service.

Honestly trying to understand why a simple oil change takes 2-3 hours to do. Do you guys not have enough mechanics to preform a simple task???! Plus the prices are insane! This is ridiculous and pathetic. I want a refund.

Took my Tundra into the service dept.Service Mgr Duane, service tech Scott General Manager Gary Newport did such a great job keeping me posted on what was going on with my truck and supplied me with a rental for the few days it took to make the repairs. Everyone in service and sales very friendly and helpful. Even Izzy my Australian Shepherd loves going there for the attention she gets.

Requested 2 services. FAIL. Didn't rotate tires on my AWD and never told me, even though it was requested. I later noticed the fine print that they didn't do it. Called in and they made me wait to talk to Brittney, the young inexperienced girl. Why couldn't someone with experience just answer me when I called? Brittney had to ask someone else after all and still gave me the same line about not needing rotation since most tread was already on the drive axle??? (AWD, remember?). OK, so why not mention to the customer that you didn't perform half the requested service? Why let them find out later? Hope they don't notice you were too lazy to perform the requested service?
