I took my Nissan Altima to Michael at Oregon Auto & he checked out my car for the first ten minutes for free. I asked for a compression test & he only charged me $120 for full vehicle inspection, including compression test. I would recommend Oregon Auto to anyone looking for mechanical work.

We were referred to Mike by friends who respected his work. Took out vehicle in to be serviced for complete suspension work. Was quoted a time frame of 2-3 days for repairs. They had our car for over a week, and when we got it back it was needed more work to fix what wasn't done and repaired. We never received a printout of work that was actually done nor a receipt to show for paid services. When we got to our car in there was only one light in the dash which had to do with the steering and suspension. When we got it back the ABS light was on and it made a grinding noise when pressing the brakes. We agreed upon a quoted a price of $1500 for labor and parts, but were told we agreed to then using used parts for the repairs, which wasn't mentioned in the initial agreement. We took the car home and parked it for a few months without driving it. The service was provided back in June , but because it had not been driven on a regular basis we were not aware of all of the issues. We drove the car on the highway and discovered that the cruise control no longer worked that was the first issue. My husband works less than 5 minutes from where we lived and also from this repair shop. He had to start driving it daily in October, which is when we discovered the 2nd issue the power steering seemed to have a leak. So finally we took it to another mechanic and was told that neither the power steering or cruise control had been reassembled after the so called repairs and that the sway bar and suspension was bad. I called Mike who agreed to have us bring the car back in for them to make right what was wrong. We dropped the car off and before noon were told that the job they did was satisfactory and they stand by their work. Basically, they would not make any amends, but had the audacity to say they would be happy to fix"again"what was wrong. They will never get our business again!!! We even took them the printout of necessary repairs found by the other garage. This car had been checked out when we first bought the vehicle and nothing to this effect was wrong with it. I don't expect to get anything for free, but I do expect to be treated fairly and justly. And not taken advantage of because we didn't know any better. We paid a lot of money for repairs, only in the end to have to pay again for those services and then negligence by not reassembling what should have been done essentially with repairs. Our safety was put at risk knowingly when they failed to reconnect key things like power steering and cruse control. What else might have not been reconnected?

We had an awesome experience at Oregon Auto. Our RV broke down on the way out of town, and Oregon Auto got back to us right away and immediately set us up on the schedule for repairs. The staff was personable and really helpful and the prices were super reasonable. They did a great job working on such a complicated vehicle. It made our break down totally manageable instead of a nightmare. Would highly recommend.

This is my first time here at Oregon Auto and I must say that Mike (the mechanic), took very good care of my vehicle. I would have to say that their prices on parts are very reasonable when you are looking alternative pricing from your dealership. I went in for new rear rotors and brake pads and ended up paying 75% cheaper than my dealership's prices and prices from other mechsnics around the area and all the parts came with warranties. Definitely recommend this place to everyone and I will be spread the word.
