They were able to diagnose and fix my Mercedes-Benz in a timely and affordable way. I had a coolant leak and instead of just fixing the hose that was leaking, they checked them all. They found that there were 3 more hoses that were in bad shape. Probably saved my engine.

Took my 2006 tundra to Kendall’s for a busted bellow. After they inspected the truck they found another issue. Nick was very thorough about explaining and send photos. They did a great job. Thanks to Nick and the staff. Finally found an honest and trustworthy shop. Benny

Great service by Daniel and team. Dealership had recommended a brake job, Daniel did inspection and advised me that my brake pads had 50%+ of life remaining. No charge. I will definitely use them as my mechanic of choice in future !!

Can't recommend these guys enough. I have regularly gone to Kindall for repairs and inspections, and have always left with the impression that they are hard-working and honest. Right before writing this, they patched a piece of plastic that had come loose and was dragging on the bottom of my car and sent me off without requesting payment. If a repair is counter-productively expensive, they'll let you know. They are definitely mechanics you can trust.

Took my car here for an oil change as the dealership couldn’t get me in anytime soon. Somehow botched the job and ended up with an impressive oil leak from a damaged valve cover gasket just a couple days later.

Took my car in to Kindall for the first time and the whole experience was great. They found time for me the same day and worked quickly to diagnose my check engine light. When the issue was a simple gas cap replacement they let me know to go grab one at AutoZone as the easiest route. Didn’t even charge me for the diagnostic. Really appreciated the honesty and transparency. Will be back…Kindall is the place to go.

1st time using Kindall Automotive!! Brought my car in for what I was told (from a different mechanic) would be a $6700 replacement. Spoke with Daniel at Kindall, he asked some questions to confirm the original diagnosis yet since there were no symptoms they were skeptical and wanted to look at it. I brought it in, they checked my car thoroughly and found nothing wrong. Cleaned it up and got my car in and out quickly. Im amazed and grateful to have found a great mechanic with integrity and awesome customer service! 👍👍👍

Some of the fastest service I’ve ever received, and very well priced for the amount of work I needed done including replacing 2 engine mounts, replacing my water pump, doing a coolant flush, rotating my tires and inspecting my car for registration renewal. I dropped my car off at 8 in the morning and it was ready by 5:30 that’s same day. Will be going back if I ever have car problems again.

I really can't under estimate enough how appreciative I am for the team at Kindall Automotive. As a women new to the city it was very overwhelming for me to deal with finding a trusting mechanic and I'm so glad I picked Kindall. Everytime something was needed they were speedy and efficient and affordable, and when my car finally gave out they were so helpful and kind while my frazzled self figured out what to do with it. If you are looking for a good mechanic in Houston this is really the place to choose. 10/10 service, price, and customer care. So rare to get all three!

I sent kindall a perfectly fine 2007 jeep wrangler. It just needed to be brought up to par cause it would occasionally stall when hot. I got it back after a misdiagnosed problem of a cracked engine block costing 7k to 8k to fix. I used a device called Fixd no cracked engine block but while I wad replacing a part I found a massive dent on the engine that was not there. They refused to take responsibility. Especially after I told him I had dated pictures of the engine right before I sent them the jeep. When I asked to see his video of camera's he said we're installed in the garage area he refused to show them to me. Yeah he knows they did it and I got the proof. Nick, is this the way you treat a long time customer who trusted you. Not to mention all the referrals I sent to you. I'll be more than glad to share those pix with anybody who would like to see them to prove I'm not lying. How about you Nick.

I had a terrible experience with Kindall Automotive. I initially came in for a water pump replacement, which was quoted at $1,400. However, they later informed me that I also needed another part replaced on the back, bringing the total cost to $2,000. They told me my car was ready after just three days, but when I went to pick it up, that’s when everything went wrong. It was strange to see them still working under the hood when I arrived. I live only 10 minutes away, and when I drove off to take the car home, I had to turn right back around and bring it back because my car started smoking. The situation escalated when the car broke down on the 610 freeway, and the owner, Nick, had to come pick me up and arrange for my car to be towed back to their shop. They kept my car for an entire month and still couldn’t determine the issue. Nick assured me he would fix whatever was wrong, but that turned out to be one of many lies. He eventually had my car towed over to the Land Rover dealership to further assess the problem, where they determined that the engine was burnt out and that they would need to start the process of putting in a new engine. What’s more frustrating is that Nick refused to refund any of the $2,000 I paid him after his shop messed up my car. Initially, they were friendly and attentive when taking my money, but once they caused issues, the customer service plummeted. This experience ultimately cost me $7,000 and the loss of my vehicle. If you have a luxury car like a Range Rover, I would strongly advise against taking it to Kindall Automotive for any serious repairs. They might handle simple tasks like oil changes, but for anything more complex, do your due diligence and be cautious before choosing this place.

This place is amazing! As a woman I can say this place is TRUSTED! I had the pleasure of working with Josh today and he really helped me out. I was really worried I would have to pay an arm and a leg to get my mirror fixed and he ended up saving me $200 in labor cost! Saved me even more because now that I get to return the part I bought. I HIGHLY recommend this place to anyone! Thanks again Josh! You are the best!

Since 02-11-2023 our vehicle has been in this shop. Our vehicle was running when the vacuum pump went out and started leaking oil we took to Kindall and it has been a total nightmare. After changing the vacuum pump Nicolas told us that it was ready and running but that we needed extra sensors (additional $600+) for the lights on the check engine to disappear , we agreed, paid and after almost 3 weeks in the shop they told us it was ready, when we picked the car up and after paying almost $1500 dls the car died a block from the shop leaving me stranded under the Highway 610 about to cause an accident , we took it back and after another 2 plus weeks same thing they told us it was ready and again left us stranded not even a mile from the shop and having to pay towing for the 3rd time to take it back at this point Daniel had spoken to the owner and agreed to fix it or reimburse us some of the money we paid, yesterday I called and the car is still not working I asked about the refund for at least half of what we spent and the answer was no that they will have to take away the parts that supposedly were installed leaving us with the same problem of a non working vehicle and no refund. Today is 03/23/2023 , almost 2 moths later and still no car , repair or refund so I am now having to file a consumer complaint with the attorney general for this matter. TERRIBLE SERVICE AND MANAGEMENT! To the owner : im not sure what is worst your service or denying this issue like is not your shop smh , unbelievable 👎🏽

WARNING: Do NOT take your car here for major repairs. They had my car here for several weeks and repair did not happen correctly and had to take it back multiple times. They then kept lying about repair issues. The car is still not running right but i will never take it here again. I do not trust this outfit.

I stopped in to inquire about a simple oil change and tire rotation and was told to bring my vehicle back in on a Saturday morning when the shop opened. I brought the vehicle first thing and reminded the technician I was there for the oil change and tire rotation and asked that they check the brakes while the tires were being rotated. After I picked up the vehicle I was told that I couldn’t pay with a card and I would need to pay cash. After paying in cash I was never provided a receipt and when I asked about the brakes the employee stalled before responding they had “about 40% left.” This same employee told me the last time I was there about 7 months ago that they had 25-30% remaining. After returning home I noticed that the tires had not been rotated and when checking to ensure that the oil had actually been changed, noticed that someone had spilled oil over the engine bay. I also noticed that the oil had been overfilled. I was charged $130 for this service although I was charged $59 the last time I was there 7 months ago. Unfortunately, Kindall has destroyed the most important part of a business/client relationship, trust. I would recommend anyone considering using Kindall for their automotive needs to find a more reputable shop that values their customers and honesty.

Over the last year and a half I have had a few repairs completed at Kendall Automotive. Billy and others have been super helpful, honest, and fair with pricing. Thankful to have found a great neighborhood auto shop to get the most life out of my 2010 honda. Highly recommend!!

I called Kindall Automotive on a Friday afternoon. Spoke with Billy and explained the issue. Possible water pump. He said bring it in tomorrow morning which is Saturday. I showed up, we discussed the issue and he took the keys. Mind you they close at 1. After waiting for a good while he tells me to go back Monday because they need more time for the engine to cool off. Why didn’t he say that Friday over the phone? I leave get home, check under hood and radiator cap is missing. I called immediately and Billy told me no big deal go get one from parts store. Wow. Ok. That should have been the red flag. Well I take it back. He found the issue, o’rings, ok. Repaired. Picked up truck, as I was leaving Billy said engine light might come on, something about vacuum hose. He was right. About half a mile engine light is on. Got home opened the hood and found stuff not right. Nut missing from repair, Check engine light still on. Take it back put nut on. Drive away engine light is on again. Get home opened hood and see a cracked cover with an odd nut that crossed threaded the bolt. Called Billy, his response “I don’t see what the big deal is”. Can’t make this up. He did offer to get one but I’ll get it myself. Told him the cost $50. No response.
