Great and very friendly service. I called and changed my appointment once without any issues. They will even drive you home in your car while they are test driving it if you aren't too far away! That's service! The repairs were a little more than I had anticipated but for the things they fixed it seemed appropriate, and these guys all seem very trustworthy! I would recommend it to anybody in the king harbor area.

I've been coming here for the past 4 years. Efrin and his crew are so kind and honest. I started coming here because it was blocks from home and they've were always been helpful to offer drop off and pickups. I moved 30min away about a year ago, and I still come to King Harbor instead of finding a new place. Car after car, I have never been loyal to a auto repair place. They make you feel like family and the only place I have felt I couldK trust them with recommendations and pricing.

Great and very honest. Best price I could find in the area with wonderful service as an added bonus. I'd tell all of my friends to check them out. Super hard to find honest auto repair, especially as a woman. I didn't once feel like they were trying to over charge (way under the quoted price every where else) or feel like they were trying to take advantage. Save your self the hassle of calling around, stop in or give King Harbor Auto a call.

This place is absolutely the best. I’ve used King Harbor twice to fix my ailing 2003 suburban—most recently after a dealership wanted $3,200 to fix one front hub and axle, I had it towed 25 miles to Efrain where he had BOTH hubs replaced and new brakes for $800. And, he had it done in a few hours. Before you go somewhere else, I’d suggest you give this place serious consideration. No rip offs here—just honest and quality repair. I’ll be coming back here when the next thing breaks...

I drive 43 miles each way, just to enjoy the privilege of being a customer of this wonderful business owner and his great employees. God smiled on me 3 years ago when my car broke down a few blocks away in Redondo Beach and I looked up a close local shop. I found Efrain Noriega and I have been so happy with his work and his work ethics that I once had my car towed 97 miles in order to have him perform a repair. "Check Engine" light came on! Ugh! Went to Yelp for local shops--dealer's always more. After a few calls, I reached out for a second opinion of the original diagnostic during a routine oil change. I went to see Pete and Efrain who gave me an honest price--got a good vibe from them. So, dropped off my 2015 Toyota Prius two for a second diagnostic(part of the repair price) and they confirmed it needed a new engine coolant pump. It was ready same day and they even checked the car's levels to make sure it was good. Yep, I'm happy--and so is my wife!

I hardly ever write reviews but I was impressed enough with my experience to take my time to write this. I called King Harbor Auto Repair regarding my girlfriends car, which we believed had some leaks and possibly bigger issues, and they told me to bring it in to be looked at. I asked for pricing and was told there was a diagnostic fee (forget the exact price) and if there is anything needed that the fee would be applied toward the repair. A few hours after dropping off my car I received a phone call and was told that the car was in good condition and simply needed an oil change. The leaks were diagnosed as normal for the car and I was even updated about the condition of the breaks (close to 100% in the rear and about 40% up front). As promised the diagnostic fee was applied toward the oil change and I left with an $83 debit charge. I am new to the area and am delighted to have found such an honest and good repair shop. I will be bringing my cars here from now on and will also be recommending my friends, neighbors, co-workers, and family. There is no need to look elsewhere. Thank you King Harbor Auto Repair for your service and I wish you many blessings.

This Repair service went above and beyond to make sure my daughter's car was safe and reliable. They identified a MAJOR oversight from the last shop (literally the last place we went to DID NOT replace a major bolt in the suspension) and fixed it perfectly. Efrain @ King Harbor is very nice and profesional, he went through item by item that I needed giving me an explainintion, price and no pressure to proceed. His prices were very reasonable, unlike most shops here in the South Bay. They finished everything in one day, even took it to get it smoged for me. He showed me the damaged items he fixed AND they washed my car for me. I coudn't beleive it! I 100% recommend. One of the best experiences ever, thank you Efrain and your Team!

Excellent mechanic. Explained the issue very clearly and simply that I was having with oil leaking into the drip pan and that is why smoke was coming out from underneath my hood. Also took care of replacing my worn down brake pads. Honest, friendly and fair prices. Usually can get my BMW in the same day I call if it’s in the morning. Highly recommend Efron and his shop!

TERRIBLE. WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND. TAMPERED WITH DASHCAM, DROVE RECKLESSLY WITH MY CAR AND OVERCHARGED FOR CHEAP PARTS. On top of charging $3000 for repairs. They overcharged me for cheap Chinese tires, as well as not even listing the brakes and rotors used. Was charged $115 per tire and found the exact same tire for sale fod $85 at Walmart. Not only that, they turned off the speedometer, GPS AND Accelerometer were turned off while at the shop. But were on when I got it back. Went to check footage and the person driving was on social media while driving MY CAR! They were swerving into the other lane, and not only that but took my car to run errands! They are LUCKY I don't sue them for how they did! On top of the reckless texting and driving, tampering with my dashcam and overcharging, my CV Joint is bad, and they didnt even mention it! Now I have to go to a shop that will actually do their job and have that replaced! NEVER trust these con artists!

I have had a very good experience working with KHAR on about 5 cars and i have referred them several people and everyone has been satisfied. They are not the cheapest shop out there but for being down at the beach on PCH the prices are very competitive. The owner is your point of contact and it is an old school deal... he calls you and tells you what's up, your car is done on time, and the price you pay at the end is right in line with what it should be. They even worked on my classic C10 truck and fixed a lot of little issues that other shops didn't want to take the time on.. but they worked through a lot of it and helped sort out my truck. This is a smaller shop and you get personal service and the location is very convenient directly across PCH from Whole Foods.

Efrain and team took great care of me and my little old chevy while I worked in CA. I always appreciated the direct and honest communication. Efrain will contact you directly with the different repair options, their prices, and what he recommends based on the condition of your car. If something isn’t worth it, he’ll let you know! My car was always done the same day and prices were reasonable considering you’re receiving quality, timely work with parts under warranty. I never felt uncomfortable or pushed into buying something I didn’t need, which is something you worry about as a young woman going to a mechanic. Get there when they open, otherwise you will need to return another day—and pick up when he calls you.
