My wife's van had a transmission leak and multiple engine lights on and we were expecting the worst. These guys were incredibly easy to work with and their honesty really blew me away. The leak was just cooling lines, the engine lights were thermostat and brake relay switch. They told me I could wait on the thermostat and explained why, told me I could do the relay switch myself (I looked it up and it's super easy), and had the work done on the same day I brought it in. Really great experience and I will definitely be going back! Update: I did go back and finally got the thermostat replaced, same great experience as last time!

I had a very positive experience with King’s transmission. I interacted with three of their employees over the course of a few days when trying to get to the bottom of a strange noise my truck had started making. All three were friendly, knowledgeable, and treated me fairly. I can see why their average review rating is so high. I will definitely use them in the future, should I need car help. Fantastic experience.

Great Experience at the Renton King's Transmission Shop! I have a race car and they fixed my transmission, inspected linkage and made her run better. Done in a day, professional and reasonable. King's sponsors a lot of car shows in the areas and I'm glad I noticed their name. I'll be back when she needs more work. Tim was great too!

Go to get my transmission leak fixed only to have my vehicle not turn over🤔 screen not coming on completely DEAD I have a 2014 ford explorer & ***I KNOW MY TRUCK*** NO ONE drives my truck but ME..NO ONE works on my truck but PROFESSIONAL shops.... So I proceed or pop my hood after it kept cutting off & at times crank up....wellll apparently the battery had been tightened down with a screw so within that week it had loosened... I goes to the shop 15min to closing to have them look at it & ask why is my battery so loose not realizing the damn screw he tells me well here's the problem (the screw) I said why is their a screw on my battery NEVER had a issue with the battery or random screw! Never again! I've given ppl jumps etc my husband as well as myself have hooked up cable cords for a jump & the 2 yrs of me having my truck never had a screw to tighten it REMIND you the battery was just put in less than a year ago🙄🤦‍♂️ I DONT CARE FOR YOUR RESPONSE TO THIS MESSAGE I WAS NEVER GOING TO WRITE A REVIEW UNTIL THIS HAPPEned...was ubering & had to be in a safe place to be able to jiggle with the battery if it cuts off because I was heading home & shops were closed.... **EDITED** they also failed to mention that they originally quoted me for a estimate that was not correct since my truck wasnt properly diagnosed.. I had to put a male coworker on the phone who was also a mechanic to have them try and explain why they were trying to up charge me from the original eatimate that I signed since they said they replaced parts that cannot even be fixed separately so that alone was an issue after speaking to him all of a sudden their tune changed..Also there was no fluid in my truck after fixing it now if I get my transmission fixed for a leak the fluid has drained out by the time of fixing it why wouldn't it be replaced why would they have me drive out of the parking lot with no fluids in my vehicle. Like I stated before if you arrived a WOMAN make sure you have a male presents.. And they charged twice as much for the actual part. They tried to only replace the oil cooler line seal & ring when it was the hose that was destroyed that whole piece needed to be replaced if your specialize in transmissions how did you not know that after giving me a previous quote for it?!🙄

King’s Transmission is probably the best shop we’ve ever taken our vehicles to. The owner is always friendly and easy to talk to, and we really appreciate how honest he is. My wife and I have never once been told we needed a repair that wasn’t necessary, which gives us a lot of peace of mind. Great experience with them! They helped quickly identify what was wrong with my car and got it fixed in just a couple of days (with ordering in the part that needed to be swapped out). They were super friendly and informative on what the issue was, and ensured they only did the proper work to fix the issue and not anything else that would cost me extra money. Felt honest, fair, and friendly. Would definitely recommend and will definitely return if I have any other issues with my car

I bought my car in cause it was cutting off. They put gaskets and my car is still not functioning. I had a different mechanic look at it and they said I need a whole new engine. Now when kings auto repair looked at and charged me nearly $2400 they should have been honest that I needed an engine. But instead they put head gaskets and thermostats and now my car has been sitting since they supposedly had fixed it. And when I shared with them what was going on I was told by Allen that he was going to charge be for another diagnostic test. I just wanna. Cry but I’m going to have to a small claims law suit. I’m just so exhausted and heartbroken 💔 Man they got over on me cause I’m a woman 😭

Great service at a reasonable price. I used to take my vehicles to Jason at 212th Automotive, but when he went out of business I had to look for another mechanic shop. I am very happy with Eric and his team of skilled mechanics. They are honest, knowledgeable and friendly. Eric and Allan were exceptional. They were extremely kind and honest. Eric worked extra hard to help troubleshoot the issues with my transmission and did extra research to find a solution, he saved me $7000 on a new transmission, and got my car running back to normal. Allan had superb customer service skills, and always made me feel welcome. 10/10 would recommend.
