I was passing thru Erie and my car broke down. Kurt's place showed up in my search so I just went without knowing anything about his shop. And oh boy was I not mistaken. He basically treated me as a member of his family. Turned out to be broken alternator. He dropped everything, ordered new part, sent me and my family to the nearby park/zoo and within couple hours the car was back up and running. Normally, he doesn't do this kind of repairs but seeing my situation, he responded in such a way that at the end of the day my kids said "this was the best day". May God bless and prospers this place. Highly recommend this place.

I needed my car towed and taken care of on a Saturday evening and desperate for any help I took to Google to find any mechanics open so late, I found his shop. I was so pleasantly surprised to hear he could get the job done quickly & it was affordable! He went to the shop to get the part I needed as soon as I called him that I was getting a tow! He had my car for over a month. I was under the impression it was only a motor swap for a good/used motor. He needed a head gasket and an engine swap wouldn’t need a head gasket unless it was a bad motor to begin with. He collected my deposit 2/24 and here I am down $500 and no car. He does not communicate efficiently. I’ve contacted him numerous times asking about the car/money he refuses to answer me. Have to go the legal route and deal with a headache. I wouldn’t recommend going here for mechanical work.

TLDR; DO NOT go here, you WILL be scammed. I brought my vehicle in for a repaint in December 2024 and paid a $X,XXX down payment. Despite a promised two-week turnaround, my car sat untouched for four months. The shop owner repeatedly lied—at least ten times—about the progress, offering new excuses each time, refusing to send photos, and constantly changing the completion timeline. My vehicle was stripped, damaged, parts were missing, and was left un-drivable. When I mentioned legal action, he tried to intimidate me by threatening to raise the price to $10,000, accused me of harassment, and told me to pick up my car and never contact him again. He set a date and time to meet and retrieve my vehicle but he still failed to show up. This led me to file in civil court. I later discovered he had done this to others as well, and I was only able to recover my vehicle after I was contacted by police to come and get it towed out.
