My car wasnt starting early morning, i call L&P they they answer the right away, Lair came to my house, he diagnostic my car and told me what was wrong with it. He said the my car need starter and he give a estimate. He fix right there in 2:30hrs counting the time he went to pick up the parts. I would recomended his service to everyone .

Excellent service. I had a problem with my Tacoma and could not move the car. I called a couple of mobile mechanics shops in the area and Lair picked up the phone. We scheduled a time to meet, he showed up on time, and got the issue fixed. Pricing was competitive and service was above expectations. Great experience and will repeat.

Called them for a car issue and I was able to get fit in the next day, that's where the good review ends. The mechanic who inspected my car barely looked at it, and wouldn't explain the problem to me even after asking. I was instructed to buy several hundreds dollars of parts, which was actually only worth half what they charged me. Had someone else check the car out and they easily fixed the issue with no replacements. L&P does not do a thorough job or they're trying to overcharge on purpose. Cost me a lot of time and energy.

This place and the mechanic Lair gonna rip you off. I recommended my friend here to fix his car. The estimate was almost $1,080. The car was at the auto shop for more than 2 days, honestly I understand why they wanted to keep the car that long. When I and my friend came for the car, the bill was actually $1,254. About $900 is for the labor only. The main problem of the car including the A/C, the brake signal on, and the door lock was not fixed. The mechanic Lair said the car "module" links these problems together and they couldn't fix ??? Yeah, they want $900 for not fixing the main problem, really? The mechanic Lair is very rude and untrustworthy. There are better auto shops out there. Don't just come here to get Robbed !!!

First of all, I'm not the kind of person who usually writes reviews. I was so happy with my experience with Lair Marin I felt I wanted people to know. I was looking to buy a car near San Diego and I'm in Wisconsin. Having a good inspection was crucial to me buying a car from out of town. Lair was on time, responsive, and a pleasure to work with. So grateful for L&P! I ran over a tire on the freeway, and it ripped up my fenders - was driving around with them duct taped up for a few days. L&P was able to get me in the morning I messaged them, and fixed the problem in 20 minutes!!! They showed me exactly what got messed up and how they could fix it. I thought I'd have to be paying a few hundred at least for new fenders and an undercover, but they knew exactly how to fix/reattach both sides and secure them better, and did so for FREE! They helped me replace the PCV and HPFP. Reply is fast, and they do same day service just drop your car and no need for appointment. Their pricing is very reasonable compared to other shops around Miramar area. The manager is friendly and knowledgeable. They give you receipt and all the stuffs they do which is transparent and fast. Highly recommended.
