I wish we didn’t have to drive way out to El Cajon from the coast to service our RV. But that’s honestly my only complaint! We really like our service advisor Jose. He’s honest and we feel very comfortable with him. He’s very knowledgeable, and we get great service at La Mesa RV in El Cajon!

I had issues with the solar panel not charging the RV coach battery. Steven Lopez was assigned as my service advisor. He was very accommodating and provided a superb customer service. He updated me with the status of the repair and was very flexible in adjusting his schedule to avoid any conflict with my schedule ensuring both of us are able to meet up in the repair center to check-out the RV. Kudos to Steve of mobile department. He has a wealth of knowledge. He followed up on any other concerns I had from repairing cosmetic defects and providing guidance to ensure I have a better understanding of the operation and care of my new RV. Superb teamwork between the two advisors. They both made me a valued customer and I was taken care of during the repair process. Thanks.

The communication, determination and overall customer service we experienced was way above our expectations! I have never seen so many people in one organization work so collectively to solve a problem. This was no ordinary repair as it involved three different La Mesa RV locations in three different states with multiple managers and regional directors involved, helping their capable staffs coordinate the effort. We could not be more happy with the service, installation and after service care that we have received! All work was performed by excellent mobile service techs that were friendly, knowledgeable and efficient! We value and highly recommend La Mesa RV for sales and service to everyone.

I'm new to the RV/Van world so when I called LaMesa RecVan I had to make an appointment 1.5 months in advance. I guess that is normal so I booked the appointment. I brought my van in on my appointment day and left. A couple days go by and I call my service advisor and he said "they haven't looked at it yet...you are in the que.." Ok, I guess. 3.5 weeks and they do 1hr of service on the van and need to order parts before they do more testing...Not happy but I go pick up the van because the parts might take 2 weeks to arrive. If this was my whole experience I'd probably not even bother to leave a review. My service advisor, Frank Salazar is the rudest "customer service" rep I've ever encountered. I was trying to get more information on my van and potential warranty options I might have..."you are bombarding me with questions". Then he said a couple days later..."i have some news on your van, but you can't ask me any questions.." His emails were just as rude. I don't understand how someone can be in customer service and hate customers? Maybe he is better with other customers but if you go to LaMesa in El Cajon and you get assigned Frank, I hope you have a better experience than I did. I did take my van to Rogue Vans and within 30minutes while I waited they had the problem diagnosed and the replacement part ordered under warranty. I'm so thankful I found them. This is my first negative review of any company and I hate doing it but I'd feel bad if I didn't warn folks and they had the same experience as I had.

I had a recent issue with my 2023 Revel that Justin Deleon was instrumental in resolving. He was professional, timely and took the extra mile with Winnebago. Very satisfied with La Mesa RV Service but mostly Justin !!

I scanned many of these reviews before coming here. Not sure what all the hate is about. I came in with a water leak and a battery issue. These guys worked tirelessly to trouble shoot, and correct one thing after another. I watched numerous people come in and out and every one seemed so happy. No complaints just love. If you're gonna sit in the break room, bring a blanky. 10/10 service.

Steven worked hard to get my coach's issues fixed and looking and running like new again. Despite delays in getting parts that are beyond anyone's control, the service team did a great job! Upon picking up my coach, Jonathan was very helpful in reviewing my paperwork, paying and brought me to my coach to be sure everything was up to par. I feel that the price charged was very fair for the amount and quality of work done. I will always recommend La Mesa RV for any of my and my family and friends RV needs as this is an outstanding organization from sale to delivery to service.

We had some concerns after an oil change when the check engine light came on and the oil was showing low. After speaking with Ryan, they sent a tech to our house (about 40 miles away). We were pleased with the service and felt heard. Strongly recommend.

We have not been able to use our Class B camper van for the past 2 years and back then service appointments were booked out for weeks. So this past week I was shocked and delighted when I was told I could bring the van in the same day and get it back the next day. Work included oil change, generator service and fresh water system sanitizing. So, many thanks to Steven and all the rest of the crew for going out of their way getting us in and out of there.

I brought my RV to La Mesa for an awning recall, a secondary alternator cable recall, and to troubleshoot an issue with the secondary alternator not charging my batteries. I explained upfront that the batteries had been replaced with non-OEM ones, which could be part of the problem. They found a worn alternator belt and charged around $900 to fix it, but that didn’t resolve the charging issue, and there was no clear solution offered after that. More frustratingly, they claimed my awning wasn’t working even before the recall work, which I know wasn’t true as I had used it just before the visit. After some back and forth, they finally checked and discovered the relay they replaced during the recall was the cause of the failure, meaning they hadn’t tested it properly beforehand as claimed. To top it off, I found black sealant smeared in several places: on the passenger seat, the ladder, and on the roof. It looked careless, possibly from a dripping caulk gun or sloppy handling. While most of the staff were friendly, I left with zero trust in this service center.

Ryan did a great job installing a new battery last week. I tripped a breaker and Jason called and did a great job trouble shooting over phone and resolving. He's been in RV repair for 25 yrs and super knowledgeable. gave some great advice as well for another upgrade and even sent me an Amazon link. Went above and beyond. Despite service reviews and my previous complaint on Copley management i was happy with the customer service with El Cajon shop.

Minus zero!!! DO NOT GO HERE!!!! NOTHING WAS WRONG WITH OUR VEHICLE WHEN WE BROUGHT IT TO LA MESA! We took the van in just to reroute a cable-PERIOD. December 21, 2023. TWO WEEKS AGO! When they “finished” the job we left and went straight to a gas station to go on our way to visit friends and family for Christmas. We were stranded at that gas station for OVER 3HOURS! Waiting for a tow because the key was stuck in the ignition. WE SPENT THE NIGHT IN OUR BROKEN VAN ON THE STREET BY CARL BURGER DODGE DEALER. WHERE WE learned that LA MESA MIS-WIRED THE CABLE AND SHORTED OUT THE CIRCUITS!!! TOMORROW IS NEW YEARS 2024 AND WE STILL DO NOT HAVE OUR HOME! WE HAVE HAD TO SPEND OUR ENTIRE SAVINGS FOR A RENTAL CAR, LODGING, AND FOOD. FOR TWO WEEKS! WE ARE RETIRED SENIORS FULL TIME RV LIVING. AND STILL DO NOT KNOW WHEN OR IF THIS PLACE WILL FIX THE DAMAGE THAT THEY CAUSED!!! Below was my original post before we realized we were going to be bamboozed, lied to, and stranded. To add insult to injury, literally, I got COVID from one of the staff who admitted he was sick AND DID NOT HAVE THE DECENCY TO WEAR A MASK! NEVER. ONCE HAS ANYONE AT LA MESA EVEN GAVE A HALF HEARTED APOLOGY. SHAME ON YOU! This is the floor in the women’s bathroom @La Mesa in El Cajon, Ca. The linoleum is buckled and there is a may over the buckle in front of the door. I tripped and fell-hard. That is when I noticed it was the floor and not me that caused my fall. Nobody from management came to check on me. A woman who saw me on the floor offered to call 911 and brought me a no ice-ice pack. I feel sorry for people who work for the kind of manager who would let this hazard continue. Surely at least one worker had to bring it to someone’s attention. There is NO EXCUSE for a business to have a hazard to customers and staff. Say hello OSHA snd fire the negligent manager but first- FIX THE BATHROOM FLOORING! When i originally posted this review we did not have our vehicle back.

We have been utilizing La Mesa's Service Center for warranty work on our beloved Leisure Travel Unity, Victoria, for 2 years. We travel almost 200 miles for our appointments. Originally, we endured the trip, because La Mesa was the only authorized dealer for our rig. We have come to appreciate the quality and promptness of their handiwork. Last week we made our usual trek for our final "scheduled" warranty appointment. Imagine our surprise and dismay when we arrived at our scheduled time and were advised that there was no record of such an appointment!! I expressed my dismay and disbelief to the greeter. He immediately took charge and referred our problem up the chain of command. Service Associate Angela and the Service Manager were able to schedule our work that day. We expected "that day", to mean the whole day. Imagine our surprise, and delight, when the job, plus an additional request to check the battery water, was completed soon after the lunch hour. Our overall experience with the La Mesa Service Center has been nothing but positive and excellent. The flexibility of the Service Manager, the recognition of the Greeter and the tenacity of our new Service Associate, Angela, in resolving our problem was and is greatly appreciated. We will most likely continue to travel the distance and endure the traffic to utilize the workmanship and services offered at La Mesa. Richard and Eleanor Guzik Ventura, CA

Arrived at the shop early and checked in with the receptionist who called Jason. He met me in the waiting lounge 10 minutes later prepared to make the repair. Went to our class B RV - Jason fixed the shower door within 10 minutes and moved the rig to the exit lane. All this took half an hour. Super grateful to Jason for his professionalism and attention!

I don't think the service here is poor due to intent, but it is poor because they are too busy for the staff and facilities they have. After complaining three times to the dealer about how badly the microwave rattles, they finally agreed to replace it under warranty. At first it seemed all good, until we tried to use the vent to take cooking smoke out of the RV where instead the vent blew into our faces! They failed to install it properly by turning the exhaust fan to the back of the wall so it would go out the vent opening in the wall. The instructions for this are very clear in the owners manual - and the 9 inch by 5 inch opening in the back wall covered in shiny silver tape should have given them a clue. After investigating, I found that they even failed to install all three of the support screws - only two were there, they also left all the trim and bottom cabinet board loose in the overhead compartment, and the grommet protecting the power cord not re-installed. So despite this repair still being under warranty, I don't want them touching my coach anymore. During the warranty period they have keep it for months at a time and it feels like you have to beg for status updates.

We couldn’t be more impressed with the attention and service we received from everyone at La Mesa RV in El Cajon. A special thanks goes to Ryan who was always there for us, making us feel confident in our RV purchase overall. Being extremely honest and knowledgeable in his field, he was there to advise and coordinate flawlessly throughout the entire process with our King off-road suspension upgrade. (Incredible suspension but that’s a separate review) The whole experience to us felt more like we were dealing with friends or family. Everyone there, especially Ryan, seemed to really enjoy what they were doing and were eager to help however they could, going far above what was expected. Thanks to his caring and professional attitude, we’re now looking into other major upgrades that can be completed there. Yes, I’m definitely going back. When you pay that much money for an RV, just knowing the job is done correctly by people that actually care is priceless. Thanks again, we couldn’t be more impressed with the quality of service, their professional knowledge …. or the suspension
