Great price! While I was there, I saw a golf cart, boat, and an ATV. Where else in Shreveport can you find such an assortment of products. Jason did a very fast job of changing my car battery. At another place over an hour and a half. La Battery 15 minutes 20 tops. Get Juiced there.

For you RVers, this establishment offers almost any solution for your TT, Class A or Class C battery needs. Easy off and on from I-20, and they have a canopy to pull under while it's being worked on.

I would highly recommend this place to anyone in need of honest, reasonably priced car service. My mom and I were passing thru and a belt under her hood popped off and battery died. Jerry instantly located the problem and found a solution. A BIG THANKS TO Big D and Charles who helped get us taken care of, they were so nice to sit and keep us company until we were taken care of (even after the place closed). You should definitely give this place a try!

My mother has been buying batteries from them for years. But that comes to an end as of today. She had a problem with one the associates and with the manager after buying one of their batteries. There was a serious mix up the day before she called to explain what happened. Both the associate and manager over talked her, became loud, became sarcastic, told her that she should've noticed the mistake sooner, and told her there was nothing they WOULD do to fix it. IF YOU WANT TO BE TALKED TO LIKE A HUMAN BEING, GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE, AND PEACE OF MIND -- DO NOT BUY ANY BATTERIES FROM THEM! *** UPDATE: Based upon the owners reply to my review... The person that my mother spoke to on the phone who claimed to be the manager was actually the owner. So he lied to her. His response also proves everything that I'm saying is true. Please take your money/business to some person or place that will treat their customers with respect. ***

Customer service is sadly lacking and rude. I called to order 4 batteries and the "Order Desk" literally hung up on me after telling me that he is busy and to call back later. He didn't ask me to hold or give me any hope of satisfaction. Not even a courteous good-by. No wonder they have batteries in stock...stands to reason. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere.

I came in and a very nice guy named Jason installed a battery for me. He was very professional yet down to earth! Had me going in 10 minutes at the most. I recommend their batteries and service to everyone! Was very affordable and did not charge to install. I know Jason is good and he mentioned a Charles that was very knowledgeable and quicker than him!! I am pleased with the product and service that I recieved and recommend anybody to use this place. Ask for Jason or Charles, I know personally of Jason and he was very pro Charles!

I stopped in today to get a battery and Big D was able to let me know that the battery was really going bad because of the smell. He also checked my alternator to make sure it wasn't the alternator before he installed the battery. His services were great, fast and very professional. I would recommend anyone to LA Batteries and to Big D also to service them. Keep up the good work Big D :-)

Great prices, plenty of options, and the staff is great. I went in for a few different batteries for my boat and had specific batteries in mind. One staff member was very knowledgeable of continuous trolling and showed me some batteries better suited for the purpose and saved me a ton of money. Three years later, they're still going strong. I now need more for another project and will definitely be returning.

Went there yesterday 20 mins before closing my battery was so bad when I turned the car off it wouldn’t start back up which I explained and I was assured twice I come to the right place … prices were amazing everywhere else was $275 and more but he gave me several options even an option if I was tight on cash they have refurbished batteries with 90 day warranty . I bought a brand new battery with a one year warranty for $119 including tax . They had great customer service!! They took my battery out and put the new one in and I was gone! Highly recommend this place!

Incident Dates July 30 & 31, 2025 1 star, 0 doesn’t register . The cashier did acknowledge a mistake occurred and attempted to make it right. IF: you wish to be treated rudely, with disrespect and sold the wrong product. This is the right place. standard operating procedure of giving no consideration to the additional time, gas, potential injury and inconvenience to the Client It exists at LaBatteries it is okay that it takes 3 installers to complete the job correctly Come here you and they feel there is no need for them to apologize for their error Then, this is the place to be. Having this experience at LaBatteries one lesson learned/relearned is, never trust until you verify... twice. Additionally, components of my adult philosophy hold true - share your experiences with others [positive experiences too] potentially saving them from the same mishap. AND ALWAYS remember one of the best ways to express your displeasure is TAKE YOUR MONEY and BUSINESS ELSEWHERE!

I have never been treated with such disrespect before in my life at a place of business! These I arrived at the building 15 minutes before closing only to be told that they were closed. I advised them that the sign on the building as well as the website stated that they close at 5. I was told, “well it’s 5 o’clock somewhere.” I said, yes but not here, are you refusing to serve me? I was met with another smart remark. “Not refusing, just not gonna” I put the money up and closed the register out already… sorry” Both the boss & the worker appeared to be very high. Speech was slurred & I could look at them and tell they were under the influence of recreational drugs! He then brushes past me along with his worker (who kept quiet, but laughed heartily at the antics of his “boss”) and locks the doors of the building. I take a few steps back because I’m alone with 2 men that had no shame in displaying their prejudice toward me as a BLACK WOMAN. I felt a small ounce of fear rise up in me so I moved closer to my vehicle. I asked for the owner’s information, the rude guy said “I’m the owner”. I asked him for his name and he replied, “ LA Batteries” looked at his worker and chuckled. I could tell that the worker really didn’t care for the behavior of his “boss” but, what could he say. He keeps him employed and allows him to be high on the job. I do not appreciate the way I was treated. That is no way to do business. How would they feel if someone treated their wife or daughter that way? Had I not been a woman of color, I’m sure he would have jumped through a hoop to serve me. He never even asked what I wanted.

All right so here’s what happened I got a battery from them on a Friday. I drove the battery for one day. You can’t even say a whole day. I only drove it for a couple of hours then my truck set up for like two days cause we got snowed in, truck won’t start. I’m like OK boom I guess the battery died because of the cold weather I go get the battery charged then they tell me oh it’s it’s fully charged. I put the battery back in my truck. Tried to crack up the truck 10 minutes later. The battery is dead once again. I’m like ain’t no way I take it to another place. I’m like can you check this battery for me. They say it has a bad cell in it I only had the battery for two days. I go back to the man like I only had this battery 2 days & you got a 90 day warranty on this battery then you tell me I can’t get a refund. I paid $80 for this battery. That only lasted me one/two days and I can’t get a refund. I can’t even get a little bit of my money back while I’m sitting here arguing with this man about this battery. I hear one of his workers say what you got there, you got another battery so let me find out people been sending these batteries back all day and you’re standing firm weigh no refund and you just gone keep selling people bad batteries. I advised nobody & I mean nobody to break bread with these people again they don’t do good business. Feel like I got took today. I got no money back, they swapped out my battery with looks like the same battery i just gave them. This is the only last standing mom & pop store that sales batteries and this is what will happen. In autozone & Walmart trust!
