I took my car here for body work after being rear ended. They finished the car a month before they told me the work was even suppose to be started which was great! After returning home, I noticed my back bumper was cracked. I looked at my pictures from the accident, and surely enough they used the same bumper but charged for a new replacement bumper. Then I started noticing multiple areas in the paint that wasn’t right, including some areas that were grinded down. Paint job looks horrible. Today, I noticed they removed my trunk floor mat and never put it back in. I took my car here strictly because it was a Toyota Collision Center and thought it would be trustworthy. This will be my last time dealing with them. So unprofessional.

Everyone at this shop has been extremely empathetic and sympathetic with everything that I was going through. They were able to get my truck in a timely manner, but most importantly, I was welcomed with open arms as a human being that experienced something traumatic! My truck is still there, but its more comforting to know that they are doing everything they can to help me through this process! I didn't feel like another "paycheck" to them like other shops did... Much love to each and everyone of them there! I feel so confident that I'm in GREAT hands! Can't wait to get my baby back!

I haven’t received my repaired vehicle yet but this review is solely for the excellent customer service and care I received from Lakeside Toyota. Every time I have called, Lakeside has been incredibly reliable, responsive, and accurate. Today I dropped off my car and Enterprise left me abandoned at the time they were supposed to pick me up. I was stuck on hold and Lakeside took it upon themselves to call Enterprise, be firm with them when they contradicted what they told me and then drove me to the rental place to make sure I would not be abandoned with nowhere to go. Howard even waited for me to tell him that Enterprise had a car for me and told me he would’ve driven me all the way to the French Quarter if I needed. Everyone at Lakeside was kind, sweet, and made sure I was taken care of. This has been a wonderful experience and a stark contrast from the experience I had with Enterprise.

I can honestly say Mr. Cornell is the best. Extremely professional and straightforward. He also saved me A LOT of money. My car was in a hit and run and they were saying it had to be totaled out but Mr. Cornell felt my pain and made a miracle happen and fixed my car. He also did it in a timely manner. If you have a problem bring your car over and ask for Cornell. Tell them I sent you. Lakeside Toyota Collision Center is the home for my repairs from now on. Great service all around.

I had brought my car there this past Friday to get an estimate, they did not tell they would be closed Saturday and Sunday, I told them I had a rental car, which I’m paying out of pocket, I can’t even leave a voicemail!!! So far this has not been a good experience, and he said I would have to pay for them to take off bumper to see what damage is under it. They are holding my car hostage, so basically I’ll have no choice but to get car fixed with them. They are very unprofessional

Had a great experience here. Cornell buffed out a scratch to prevent any rust from forming and saved us a ton of money. Very quick, easy, and hugely helpful. Thank you!

I brought my 2023 Tundra here (only 8 months old thinking Toyota and OEM would be best) after it was damaged from other driver fault. Their insurance was paying for the repair. I showed the estimate to Cornell and he said it would cover the damage after he reviewed with me. He said that the parts would be available and he could have it ordered ahead of time before I dropped off the truck. I dropped off the truck (which they make you sign a waiver that it could take a month - she said oh it will be much quicker than that) and they held it for a week before anything was done or assessed on the vehicle - I could tell because of my phone app. I notified the receptionist accepting the vehicle that there was extra damage discovered and she said she would notify Cornell. I also notified the insurance company. After a week went by (I had to call them every time - they have terrible communication), they said the repair would take a week and half. After checking in they said the repair was delayed after waiting for the part. I checked in a few days later when they told me it would be ready. On the second week they said they needed to redo the paint on the bumper since it was a new vehicle. I reminded them of the misalignment of the tailgate and paint damage. Cornell said he would take care of it. Then after they repainted and said it was ready. I said my phone app has multiple alerts. Then they said it will take more days to calibrate and they needed more money from the insurance company. On the third week, I finally received my truck after 3 weeks. As I walked up from 20 feet away, I could see that it was just cleaned, but the quarter panel that was damaged was bulging, the rearlight had big gaps, the bumper was still smashed in 1/2 inch despite new paint. The tailgate was still misaligned and the tailgate damage was not addressed. I told the receptionist that I was not satisfied and she got Cornell. He was like - I didn’t see that. I told him I told you over the phone and showed the receptionist. Then he said the insurance company wouldn’t pay for it. Fortunately, the insurance estimator was there and he said he could cover the costs and never said that he wouldn’t pay for it because he was paying for the calibration, and he suggest to leave the truck to be repaired. At this point I was furious. I didn’t want to go through this again - I didn’t trust Lakeside Toyota Collision anymore (Ive had a good experience with the dealership). I brought the truck home and contemplated trading it in as I was inspecting the vehicle, I noticed two new scratches from the repair shop on the passenger side. This sealed the deal and I traded my truck in to get another Tundra. I recommend going to another repair shop 100%. I actually had some repairs done recently to my new 2024 Tundra out of pocket and was very pleased with my experience at Gerber Collision in Harahan.

I left my car for roof damage. They said the rooftop parts would be replaced, and the headliner as well. However, they only repaired the dent and painted it. The headliner was supposed to be replaced, but they didn’t change it. After I complained, they emailed me saying they would order and replace the headliner, but now they’re not responding to my emails or calls. We’ll see each other in court. Also, they claimed the replacement was done and got paid by the insurance for it, but the parts were not replaced. On top of that, there are paint drops all over the interior and other parts of the vehicle.

I would like to thank the team for advising and repairing my car quickly. My vehicle was ready when I was told it would be and the extra service I requested was done within that time frame. I would recommend their services to other customers!

I wouldn't bring anything there. Toyota sent us there for a pain recall. Picked it up this was painted that was not and didn't match well headlights wasn't hooked back up maybe forgotten or didn't care. To top it off fresh paint can't hold on to metal 3 months later. Poor work

Lakeside Collision Center (Cornell) exceeded my expectations in every way. From the moment I dropped off my vehicle, the staff was professional, friendly, and kept me informed every step of the way. The repairs were flawless—my car looked brand new when I picked it up! They even detailed it inside and out, which was a pleasant surprise. I truly appreciated their attention to detail, honest communication, and quick turnaround time. If you’re looking for quality work and great customer service, this is the place to go. Highly recommend!

Took my Toyota Highlander to Lakeside Collision for the paint recall this past summer. The panels that were painted and look good however I had to get another shop to remove the paint overspray On the windshield, side, glass, and rear glass. Also overspray is present on the interior door panels, and the shop said not to use any chemicals on it to remove it because it will stain the trim.

Warning, they will damage your property and not accept responsibility for their actions. I had paint work done there. When I picked up my car, the key fob was severely damaged. I pointed this out to the employees and they said "this is how you gave it to us". I asked the manager (Lisa) to help and she said she wasn't willing to help me. Actually, she got in a vehicle, drove away, and left me to deal with the employee who accused me of giving him a key fob in this condition. Please see the pictures, it looks like it was exposed to chemicals or something. I'm guessing that this isn't an isolated incident because after receiving my car, I noticed some really bad places in the paint job they had performed. I attempted to contact Lisa's supervisor to give them an opportunity to correct the situation, but he would not return my call. Stay away, don't trust these people with your property. Please don't just take my word for it, see the attached pictures. (There are more issues with the paint than pictured, just too many to post) UPDATE: It was also found that they replaced my windshield without notifying me (I’m unsure why they would have damaged the windshield when painting the vehicle). And, when installing the new windshield, they pinched the upper seal really badly in one spot. Toyota Corporate and Lakeside upper management team have been very responsive, though. I have to give their customer support personnel all the credit, they have made me feel like they understand that they have a problem in the collision center and want to move forward with me to make things right. They have kindly promised to provide me with a replacement key fob and are working on scheduling a meeting to inspect the workmanship on my vehicle. I will continue to update this post with new findings and the final outcome.

I wouldn't recommend this place. It's been two years, and they never finished my car repairs despite being paid in full to do so. I was told for months they were waiting for parts, only for them to never arrive and for the employees to completely stop contacting me. My car is still in a bad state, and now I have to drive around in a car that should have been fixed. Walk away and never go back.

Took my 2018 Toyota Tacoma in to repair some hail damage that happened while I was traveling. Insurance paid $4,800 to have them remove dents, touch up some chipped paint. and repair the clear coat. The dents were removed but the chipped paint on the hood is still there. The back passenger door has some of the worst clear coat I've ever seen. It feels like 120 grit sandpaper and is visibly different than the rest of the vehicle. I'd rather have the dents than this horrendous work. If you want quality work, please avoid Lakeside Collision Center.
