The customer service at Lamb’s is really good—everyone was friendly and helpful. However, I can’t say the same about the actual work they did on my car. A few months ago, I went in for a simple oil change, and they suggested I replace the AC belt. I agreed, and everything seemed fine that day. But the very next day, my car started making a squeaking noise. It took me weeks to realize the issue was coming from the AC belt they had replaced. It’s frustrating to spend so much money on a service only to have the repair cause new problems. That’s not fair to the customer.

Made an appt for an oil change at 8am, still took 2 full hours to get out of there. They gave me a 50% discount which was nice of them, but would have preferred the time. The people were super nice and very kind. Probably just don’t have enough techs for the volume of service they’re providing. If you go, just know the appointments don’t actually matter to your time, and expect a long wait.

Took in my car to fix the check engine light, ac blowing hot, and a broken door handle. The guy was friendly, took notes of everything wrong. He comes back with a bill for $4,400. I told him I don’t have anymore than $1,200 at this point. He comes back with a quote to fix the door handle and engine light for $2,300. I ask “why so expensive?” He says the 20+yo Toyota Tacoma needs a charcoal canister which costs $1,200. I found the same part online for $150-180. I picked up the car the next day and they charged me $700 to put a door handle on (a $10 part I brought in that I’m sure they would have wanted hundreds for) add coolant to my broken AC (without actually fixing it), and “diagnosing” whatever they found. Maybe the labor costs are reasonable, but with expensive diagnostics before they fix anything and a parts guy who’s trying to rob you blind, I won’t be back unless I bring my own parts and even then may as well look for somewhere you get more value for money.

They were able to fix my tire and didn’t try to replace as it was reparable. They only didn’t get 5 stars because as they had a long queue they failed to call me to let me know the service would take an extra day before I called them asking. Overall, great service and would recommend.

Dylan is very professional, knowledgeable, and have great customer service, but they charged $100 for a 1.5 mile tow after saying he'd charge $85, also charging $400/600 for a battery is insane. Go through your insurance instead for a tow and go to nearest AutoZone or walmart for a new battery. Will probably be less than half what they charge

A true gem of a car shop!!! I went to Lambs after having a bad experience at another car shop. The Lambs mechanics found the root cause of the issue my car was having. When I got there the mechanics in the garage ran their inspection and then brought me out and showed me what the previous car shop had missed. The experience was more than extraordinary. From the 1st time I spoke to Dillion on the phone he was clear about what the process would be for taking my car to them. He kept me updated through out the repair regarding when parts would arrive and when they did to estimated time of when my car would be ready for the road. The shop manager Chris was very kind and empathetic to my situation. We talked about our Dogs and just being there in the shop and seeing how the staff treated other costumers, just brought a warming genuine experience. Chris gave me a quote for repairs and worked with me on a really fair price. There are places that you can tell try and pull that nickel and dime BS and I felt safe with my wallet at Lambs. A true and genuine hospitable car repair shop experience I have never had. I will always go to them now for my car needs even if its just a simple oil change. I wish I knew about them a long time ago. Laina and I can now get back to our road trip adventures. Thank you to the lambs team at 5001B HWY 290 W,

This place used to be my favorite back when Phillip was there. They were honest and trustworthy and I didn't trust anyone else to work on my Pontiac Vibe. Went there for an oil change last week and there's a whole new staff and they're price gouging for an oil change. If anyone has Phillip's contact info please let me know. Phillip, if you see this, you're the best and I miss you.

Went in for a minor repair. Just needed a new thermostat for my radiator and they were going to charge me over 700 dollars. Surrounding places quoted me at 250-300 dollars. They also charge an excessive diagnostics fee so they fleeced me regardless. Edit: they keep trying to gaslight me it’s a standard rate to charge over 700 to replace an eleven dollar part that I (not a mechanic) could replace in under 2 hours but I don’t have the the tools

At 4 PM I called and asked if they were available to do an oil change if I came in right away, and they said yes. I brought the car in 5 minutes later, and they promptly got me the paperwork and took the key. I was told they would pull it in right after another car backed out, and the nice woman at the front suggested a shopping center I could go kill some time in. About an hour later I returned, and my car was still sitting in the lot. I was told they would get to it soon, but there were a few other cars in front of me. I had to be somewhere at 6 PM, which is why I called even though an oil change takes just 30-45 minutes. They said I’d need to pick up the key right at 6 when they close. I asked if they could at least guarantee 5:50 and they said no. This was exactly the outcome I could not afford or my time would be completely wasted. I took my key back and now I’ll have to start all over the next day (with a different company). To say “yes we can take you right now” when the reality is that you’ll be trying to squeeze it in before closing is so incredibly frustrating. Everyone was friendly that I interacted with, but I can’t support a place that will lie to you to get your business. I understand wanting to get more customers, but people have schedules and lives. You can’t just screw them over with a lie to try and get another sale. It’s a shame because I just moved here and this is my local shop so I would’ve given them a lot of business.

Dylan was very courteous and attentive. I feel that I got an honest evaluation of my car's needs, but the pricing is extremely high. My only complaint is that my oil change took 2 hours to do, even with a scheduled appointment . I appreciate the thoroughness if the work and understand that takes time. However, I ended up being late for work. It would have been good to have gotten a time estimate up front

I was visiting my Daughter in Austin over the weekend and while headed back to Houston, I heard a loud sound under my engine so I pulled into Lamb's T&A on a mid-Monday morning and was greeted with smiles and kindness. Dylan, Chris & Team repaired my skid plate that was dragging and also took the time to inspect my vehicle while it was in the bay. They also took the time to show me a couple issues that require attention ASAP. I made it back to Houston safely and cannot recommend this Lamb's location enough!!

Excellent service by this team, especially Dylan. Communication and service could not have been better. One of the best experiences I’ve had at a shop. Stayed after closing for a whole hour to ensure we got our car back and ordered and uber for us to get to Lambs. Easily could have pushed it until the next day but went above and beyond to complete the service. Had a break booster replaced on a 2018 Jeep. Dylan was excellent to work with, providing continuous updates. 10/10
