This business' snarky response (before I even had a chance to write a review) is confirmation of the negative vibe I felt here. Three stars means the business is "Okay"...which is what you deserved in my opinion. If you had smiled and looked me in the eye while speaking to me, turned on the AC in the waiting area and not asked for my VIN before servicing my vehicle, the rating would have reflected my appreciation for above average service. I won't be back and almost didn't come after reading YELP reviews of recent/previous customers. Edited rating: 2 Stars

My father and I really trust this shop. The guys are all knowledgeable, honest, and give you their professional opinion instead of pushing to make a sale. We’ve been going here for normal maintenance for my Mazda 3 and my dad’s GLS which have been doing well. Prices are more than reasonable, we feel welcome, and you can question any of the knowledgeable workers. Recently, we noticed the GLS was having tough downshifts and jerks from 1-2, and were recommended a Transmission Flush & Refill instead of Benz’s recommendation to rebuild the transmission (120k mile service). Lancaster took care of us!

had a really disappointing experience with this auto shop. At first, they told me they could take my car in the same day with no problem. However, the moment I mentioned that I had purchased a Groupon voucher—which they themselves chose to offer—their attitude completely changed. Suddenly, they “no longer had space,” and within seconds they were “fully booked for the entire week.” It’s extremely frustrating and unprofessional for a business to advertise services through Groupon but then refuse to honor them once a customer arrives. This felt deceptive and like they were trying to avoid honoring the discounted rate. If this is how they treat customers who use promotions they willingly put out, I can only imagine how unreliable their service must be overall. Terrible customer service and zero transparency. I do not recommend this shop

There was a problem with the coil and they clearly explained it to me, and told me what future fixes I will probably need. They did not try and push anything on me to make more money. I had such a great experience with Lancaster Auto and Tire. They took my car in right away, knowing I was flight crew coming straight from the airport — that alone meant so much. Sonny was my mechanic and he went above and beyond — he personally walked me to my car, used a mirror and flashlight to show me exactly what was going on, and explained everything clearly. They found and fixed what the dealership couldn’t, and did it professionally, honestly, and at a reasonable price. It truly felt like a family environment, and I immediately trusted them. I’ll always take my car to Lancaster Auto and Tire from now on. Highly recommend them to anyone looking for honest, caring, and affordable service!

Found this place on Groupon and they were great. I had my oil changed, tires rotated, and air cabin filter changed with no issues. The air cabin filter can be annoying to change but they took care of it. Took my wife’s car to get her oil changed and headlight bulb changed. Valvoline was not able to change her headlight bulb due to being very hard to get to. Mark at Lancaster Auto had to get a little creative and found a tool he could use to change the bulb. 5 stars for these guys. They are very chill and polite and seem to do a great job.

Had an appointment on Feb 10th and was quoted 250$. Came to my appointment at 10AM and the mechanic had called out for the day. Rescheduled for Feb 17th. Came in again on the 17th just to be required 350$. If you need a quick cheap oil change they match the prices on Groupon. That’s about all I’d recommend them for. It’s your classic story of another mom and pop shop trying to change up prices on you last second. Thanks for nothing I’ll be going to your competitor.

I don't like to write bad reviews, but unfortunately today I had a terrible experience at this place. My car overheated this morning, and when I called AAA, they asked me if I wanted to take the car to one of their partners, and I said yes, but what a regret. They charged me an exorbitant amount, $1,500. When I said I couldn't afford that amount because another mechanic had told me they would charge me $400, they were extremely rude and charged me an extra $152. I called to complain, and they said they would remove that amount. I said I would pay the amount of $152 so that way I’ll take my car to a new place, but the owner was very rude, He told me that everyone charged to give the diagnosis like he gave me, I agreed to pay that amount even though I didn't think it was fair, and that's why I went to pick up my car. And when wasn't it my surprise when I picked up the car? They disassembled my car and refused to put it back together. The parts are all loose inside my car and in the back seat. I had to pay $150 for someone to assemble the parts of my car that they disassembled. I'm traumatized by this attitude.

Mark and Sonny were my earth Angels! My car broke down on 12/26/25 while on a family vacation. Although this could have been very devastating, Mark prioritized fixing my car, educated me along the way and was very nice! Sonny re-educated me about my car issues and wanted to make sure I understood the repairs and additional things I needed when I returned home. I made it home safely in my car after their repairs. I can’t thank them enough. Don’t hesitate to get your car repaired by them, you are in good hands with honest and high quality experts!

I want to give my gratitude to Lancaster Auto & Tire for fixing my car beyond my expectations. Someone struck my right headlights and bumper in a parking lot and water kept seeping in. The repairs were done so well my car looks brand new. In addition to the repairs, the customer service was one of the best I’ve ever had from a car repair company. Naman Wadhwa kept me updated throughout the whole process and didn’t keep me in the blind. Even when things got a bit delayed they worked on Christmas Eve to get my car done. Thanks again for the excellent service and pristine repairs!
