Land Rover Darien was a great 'discovery' as our family made a random visit and ended up test driving a pre-owned Discovery Sport that is now a part of our family. The experience was flawless. The team was welcoming and flexible. We just felt great with the personal touch from Elise and Edgar making the deal happen. The issue is in their service garage rather than their customer service people. The garage takes longer than promised to fix anything, and they just don't care. I had heard that this was their reputation, but I still bought my Range Rover bc it's such a nice car. It would be such a better experience if there was another garage or Range Rover technician that could do the work on the car. Taking it to Range Rover Darien is torture.

The atmosphere at Land Rover Darien is very relaxed and at the same moment when the people take care of you it's precise into the point without a lot of wasting time the person that helped me Steven got my information and in 5 minutes I was inside of a car. After the test drive it was back to his desk and after decision-making process he walked me through the steps which was easy as 1 2 3 and by the end of the conversation I was all set to drive away

We had our car towed to Land Rover Darien last Tuesday 1/13 because it was stolen and we needed to get new keys made. Today is Thursday 1/22 and it’s STILL NOT FIXED. I have repeatedly tried to get in touch with Scott who was never available. Finally I decided to call AAA today to tow it somewhere else. Scott sent the tow truck away because pieces of the car were disassembled. He also told the tow driver he could not take the car until I paid the diagnostic fee —- I called in with my credit card. He still sent the tow truck away. This is a complete joke and I will never use Land Rover Darien again. I had been warned about the service department here and the warning was fully accurate.

I purchased a 2022 Land Rover (14k miles) from Land Rover Darien in October 2025. It is now March 2026, and I still do not have a title or permanent registration. The dealership has provided inconsistent excuses, first blaming a 'lienholder clerical error' regarding a mileage discrepancy, and later blaming the DMV. I am acutely aware that a mileage discrepancy or a branded title significantly diminishes the value of a $50,000 asset. The dealership’s lack of transparency is unacceptable. I have been forced to drive on dealer plates for five months, which has caused ongoing logistical issues with local parking permits. I am currently interviewing consumer protection attorneys to file a formal suit for rescission of the sale and damages under the UCC and CT/NY consumer protection laws. If you are a lawyer who specializes in auto dealer fraud or title jumping, please reach out. Buyers: Do not take delivery from this group unless they show you the physical, clean title first.

Let me start by saying that I rarely write Google reviews unless they're truly deserved, but my experience with this dealership warrants one. I recently purchased a used BMW X5 from them and the entire process was exceptional. Chris was incredibly responsive throughout, answering my admittedly nitpicky questions and sending numerous photos of specific components to ensure everything was in proper working order. When I arrived to see the car in person, it was even better than described. What impressed me most was Chris's honesty - he knocked $500 off the price for a very minor detached vent issue he noticed (that I hadn't even seen). I traveled 150 miles from out of state, and they honored everything we negotiated via text. No games, no surprises. I was in and out in under an hour, with half that time spent test driving. I also really appreciated that most of this deal could be done via text message, which allowed me to work out the finer details between meetings easily without disrupting my day. The finance process was quick and modern. They included a 6k/6 month powertrain warranty despite CT law only requiring 3k/3 months. When I noticed on CarFax that an oil change hadn't been done in 5k+ miles (though still within synthetic oil limits), they promptly handled it prior to finalizing the sale, no questions asked. The real test of their integrity came with my trade-in. Despite knowing I was already there and couldn't physically drive both cars home, they honored the trade value originally quoted over the phone, which was in line, if not better than others I had shopped - even with some problems with the car. This is not a car that they would sell on their lot, but one that I needed to get rid of and didn't want to worry about selling myself. Another thing that impressed me was how smoothly they managed what could have been a complex multi-state transaction. As a Pennsylvania resident buying in Connecticut with a New Jersey titled trade-in, there were plenty of opportunities for paperwork nightmares. Yet their team handled all the interstate requirements like pros, taking care of all documentation without a single issue or holdup. Even after the sale, Chris remained responsive, quickly resolving a minor paperwork access issue the next day. This level of professionalism and integrity is increasingly rare in today's market. There's a genuine reason behind their 5-star Google rating... it's not manufactured by bots or paid reviews like many other dealerships. These ratings come from real customers who, like me, have experienced the fundamental difference in how this dealership conducts business. I wouldn't hesitate to buy any vehicle (new or used) from these guys again, and I really wish more dealerships operated this way.

This is my fourth Range Rover at Darien Range Rover. The entire experience has always been outstanding, from the service advisor (Eric C is the best), who are very attentive, honest and on top of their game.
