Lee is really great. Honest. Recognized me when I came back a second time and helped me diagnose a simple problem. I'll be back.

Great little repair shop, they’ve been quick to fix broken sideview mirrors or change tires for me. Fair prices and a nice guy running it.

Dishonest and untrustworthy. Came in with transmission problems, was told the car was done for and was offered $350 for the parts. Came by the next day and saw new plates had been put on the car, which was in the process of being fixed and sold. Lee laughed at me when confronted about this.

THEY ARE HONEST AND RELIABLE! Had my car towed to this repair shop because it was overheating really bad. They’re inside the gas station. Awesome service from all of them! They were really kind and took the time to check everything. Unlike many other repair shop, they didn’t try to scare me with other unnecessary repairs or replacements.

Shortly after Mr Lee repaired my car it broke down again. I took it to a different shop and they showed me the exceptionly poor job Lee's Auto had done. Literally screws had not been put back into place and engine wires were tangled. I hate to leave a bad review for a small biz but I had to spend $400 just to fix the job Mr Lee had done :/ think twice before coming here.

Wonderful. Jon Lee and his assistant, Carlos, were great. They fixed my Mini Cooper quickly and perfectly. Jon's son, Victor, reprogrammed my computerized alerts, also perfectly. Jon is very personable as well a an expert mechanic.

I came to Lee's because my check engine light was on and my car, sounded as if it was about to turn off. Because the shop was close by, I stopped for repair. I was charged a total of $337.58 to have one ignition coil replaced. After researching later if this was a fair price, it was confirmed that I was certainly over charged. Additionally the replacement coil that he purchased was a durecell coil (not Toyota), which does not fit as well as the Toyota coil, and probably cost $45 or less. After comparing prices, I should have been charged no more than $125. One coil takes on average 5-10 minutes to change. Below is a breakdown of what I was charged. Computer scan - $65 Ignition coil- $170 Labor- $85 + tax $337.58 I would ONLY used this service if it is an ABSOLUTE emergency. I spoke with the mechanic. He initially said that I had the wrong shop. I told him that I got the number off the receipt. He said that if I have any problems this the coil that, he would fix my car next time for free. I have no desire to return to this location for any service.

Friendly, honest mechanics. Lee and his nephew were helpful and candid about what my car needed and why. If you hang out while they do the work, they'll point out to you what the problem is what it does to the car (noises, vibrations, etc.). Up front and very reasonable pricing, quick service, friendly folks. This is a good place. I think Lee even maybe gave me a bit of a deal when it became apparent there were larger structural reasons for me bringing in my car in the first place. Little side anecdote: while I was waiting for Lee to finish my car, another guy came into the shop and said that while checking his engine as he pumped gas, he'd set his radiator cap on top of his engine block and then accidentally knocked it down into the engine. Lee gave him a long stick he had laying around to try to fish it out. When that didn't work, he said "hold on a second", went rummaging around a bit in a drawer, and gave the guy a new radiator cap for free!

My boyfriend recommended Lee, and I am so glad I found a local mechanic! He immediately recognized my issue -- rats. He fixed my car within a day, whereas the dealerships that are so far already didn't have openings for days, and he gave me a very reasonable price. I highly recommend taking your car here. There were a few other people who came after me, and they've been coming to Lee for 5, 10 years!

Do not go to Lee's Auto Service. Our car broke down and we used AAA to tow to the nearest shop in DC, and Lee greeted my wife with a joke about not knowing many women drove stick shift... He replaced our alternator and sealed a crack in the oil pan for $900. He performed his work quickly, which we appreciated at the time, until a week later our car broke down again after the engine started rattling. This time we paid to get it towed to our family's regular shop, who confirmed the alternator was not properly attached (the screws were not fully tightened), which caused the belt to come off and get shredded. I called Lee after the second repair to ask for reimbursement on the cost of the tow and second repair (around $200), and he refused and threatened to take me to court. He was clearly not interested in keeping a customer. It was an unfortunate day that led me to Lee's Auto Service. Good luck to the rest of you.

We’ve been going to Mr Lee for over 10 years and LOVE it. He does great work and is no nonsense. He charges fair rates and will tell you if a repair is likely to be a high cost. He keeps very clean shop and will often take a few minutes to give a quick diagnosis between jobs. The signs mentions Toyota/Lexus and Honda/Acura, but he’s comfortable with many brands.

I have been with Mr. Lee for over 20 years and he has taken care of all of my vehicles. Whenever I purchased a new vehicle, I would have my 1st oil change by him (that's how much I trusted him to take my brand new car to him for it's first everything to be service). Also, his assistant (whom he trained, Phillip is very good as well) He has always been fair. I do however question some of his other workers as they sometimes are late and are not as pleasant.

I was in DC and I had brake problems. This shop fixed my car without an advanced appointment and did a complete brake replacement in one day. The price was reasonable. The people were understanding, friendly and instantly trustworthy.

One of the worst encounter i've ever had. I've got a flat on my tesla, called ahead and asked if they service teslas. The owner confidently said yes, and to tell me to come over. When I went over, I first noticed that he was not using the hockey pucks that tesla's need to be jacked up. I asked if he doesn't need the hockey pucks, and he stated that he has done a bunch of these, and you don't need the hockey pucks. He was touching for the place to Jack up. And he was using the flat Jack. So I thought it was okay. Then, he proceeded to use the round jacks that you'd definitely need to use the hockey pucks, or else you'll damage the batteries. I promptly stopped him and said, hey, the battery's down there. I don't think you should do that. He immediately got frustrated and said I could take the car somewhere else. I told him I was sorry and I told him he could do whatever he wants Because I needed this flat tire fixed. He used then the flatjacks to lift up my car a little bit, but he cannot take the wheel covers out. He proceeded to tell me to put my car in neutral So the brakes come off. But I told him that I would need to stay in the car to do that. And if I leave the car, then the car's automatically going to go in parking mode. I don't think you need to go on neutral. For you to have your car tire patched for teslas I definitely had it patched somewhere else. And they didn't have to do it. At this point I was thinking this guy didn't know what he was doing with Tesla's and I told him I'll go somewhere else. I asked him if I could have some air in the tire. So that I have enough air to go to the other place. He had the air hose in his hand and then proceeded to tell me that this does not work. And I could just use the air vac outside. Overall, horrible customer service. I also just was not knowledgeable about teslas and still told me to come which wasted a huge amount of my time. So do what you will with this review.I don't think I would recommend this place at all.
