This was my first visit to Lewis Auto Care. I had obtained an estimate for brakes on my 2017 BMW and it was a very favorable one. They completed the work before the time promised and called as soon as it was completed. The cost and work completed was exactly as promised. I could not be more pleased and intend to return to Lewis for all my future BMW service.

Makes you PRE-PAY for ENTIRE job BEFORE he starts any work? (how is that even legal? asking for a friend), "SPOILER ALERT" ended up taking it to Mercedes Benz to have the real repair work completed (should have stuck with my instincts), took the vehicle back multiple times (gave me the vehicle back as "completed", power steering fluid reservoir bone-dry had to turn around as vehicle couldn't steer almost caused an accident, antifreeze reservoir on empty and battery compartment ripped apart --- I had to reassemble myself.) I played nice I bought ALL THE PARTS he got $2,000-$3,000 off of me --- it's a sophomoric venture at best. Lesson learned.

Lewis auto care worked on my Mercedes and fixed a pretty complicated electrical issue quickly at a super fair price. Great service, great people, and a good price. They are for sure a win in my book. I highly recommend this company!

Great service! Took my Mercedes cls 550 and Ford explorer to Mike and he did a great job on both vehicles and I was very happy with the price and service done. Mercedes dealership in 2021 wanted me to buy a new transmission for $8,000 Mike repaired it for a fraction of the cost and it is working perfectly to this day. I will continue to do business with him in the future I wish I could give him 10 stars! He has extensive knowledge about cars and I highly recommend him to everyone.

Absolutely wonderful experience, wouldn't go anywhere else for automotive needs in the Harrisburg region. Owner is incredibly considerate and helpful; he's also focused on helping you the customer, not just getting the highest pay day. Very knowledgeable about Tesla's too; handled my needs just perfectly. Would recommend anyone to go here. Would add that there's a 4% added charge for paying with credit cards. So, if you can, cash is the better way to go.

Another shop messed up a repair and tried to cover it up. When confronted, they took it to Lewis Auto Care to get it done right. I've trusted Mike and his team for many years since. Always honest, friendly, and fair. I was about to purchase a used vehicle today and brought it by for their approval. They pointed out things the dealer was trying to hide and stopped me from making that mistake. I really wanted it too, but I absolutely value their judgement and expertise. I highly recommend and will be returning with any further work needed.

I had an issue with my 2012 Vw jetta that no one could figure out. I took it to an actual dealer, and various other shops who seemed to beat around the bush. I stumbled upon Lewis Auto care October of last year. He told me he could get to my car in about a week or so. Took it in and he immediately spotted that the wrong fuel sensor was installed. Changed that and ran into another issue, which he immediately ended up figuring out where to get the part luckily. Had my car back by the beginning of November, (as the second part I needed was a bit harder to get a hole of.) Anywho, I was really happy with the service along with how knowledgeable they were as well. Highly recommend!

This shop and Mike and his fellow mechanics are the best. I have never been dissatisfied with their work or taken advantage of. Being a woman they try their best to help in any way they can to make any and all car repairs affordable and top quality. And they have always treated me with respect and Mike will explain in detail any and all repairs needed. Anyone, man or WOMAN can take their car in for repairs to this company and know with confidence it will be done honestly and properly and it will not be released until it is.

I broke down in Enola PA and I was looking for mechanics and I called Lewis Auto Care and Mike told me to come right over. He said it would be a while before he could get me in. I explained that I was traveling to North Carolina and he got me in sooner. Told me to chill in the lounge area and hang out so he could see what he could do for me. After explaining to me the issues in detail he gave me the best possible solution for my situation. He fixed my issue and sent me on my way and about 3 hours later I get a phone call from Lewis Auto Care (Mike) asking me how things were going. My point is this entire experience was above and beyond and you do not find this kindness just anywhere. SO IF YOU NEED AUTO CARE ANYWHERE NEAR ENOLA PA PLEASE GO SEE MIKE.

Easy to set up an appointment for critical work needed on my Dodge Dakota. The passenger side ball joint was about to burn up. They gave me a ride home after I dropped it off. Work was done fast and well. Cost less than a different shop that repaired the driver side. They recommended a good shop in Camp Hill for the alignment. All in all my experience with them was good.

WARNING! LEARN FROM MY EXPERIENCE!! If I could leave negative stars, I would. I am a resident of Indiana, and while traveling out of state the worst possible thing happened to my truck… the transmission failed. Having few other options I dropped it off at Lewis Auto Care hoping to save money compared to dropping it off at an area dealership. The shop seemingly had good reviews. I made a grave error. I dropped off my 2006 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 manual transmission on September 5th 2023… and then I waited patiently for months as I was offered nothing but a carousel of excuses endlessly for why it couldn’t be fixed. One thing after another. Finally after being told “the last part” was supposed to arrive July 9th 2024 I stopped hearing from the shop all together, and they would not answer my calls. At this point I filed a complaint with the Attorney General’s Office of Pennsylvania and enlisted the help of a local Harrisburg attorney. Eventually, after more than a year and having to go through the extra time and expense of hiring an attorney … after all that *finally* my truck was returned on September 30th 2024… more than a year later, and including other expenses like wasted rental vehicle fees. Many thousands of dollars wasted. While consulting with my attorney I was quoted from an area Chevrolet dealership that a remanufactured transmission to my truck could have been delivered and installed in 2-3 weeks … compare that to almost 13 months for the same work. Take your business elsewhere. You will find nothing but regret here. Like I began with… if I could leave zero stars or negative stars I would.

Lewis auto is awesome. They are straight up with anything that you're vehicle needs. They are the best in the area at diagnosis and fixing a lot of different vehicles. They have been my go to for many years and will be for long time coming. Both of my daughters cone here also because I trust them to fix everything right.

I've been taking my mercedes to lewis Auto Care for about a year now. I am very pleased with their customer service and work they have done with my vehicle. Takes time to explain car issues and future preventative maintenance. When I have a concern with my car, they make an effort to fit me, that day, to get it looked at. That's something you don't see with mechanics these days! I am a happy customer, and I highly recommend their services. Thanks!

Incredible service! I had an ongoing issue with my BMW 6 series. I had taken to other service stations and had no resolution to the problem. I even took it to Sun Motors where the only fixed the symptoms not actually the problem that led to more issues later on what was very costly at the dealership never got to the issue setting off a host off smaller continuous problems which no one could diagnose.Mike and his team used proper diagnostic tools and equipment to root out a quite difficult electronic problem. Mike pulled pieces of my relay and actually put under a magnifying scope and found a part of the board was detaching when the ambient outside temperature was at a certain degree. Mike kept the car and tested with small test drive and finally got the problem to replicate.Mike’s knowledge of BMW is comparable to the dealership but a step above because he took the time to investigate every symptom not just throw parts and money into it which was done by everyone else which was so frustrating and costly. Lewis auto repair a much more economical and customer service delivery. Mike even called the next day to check how the car was performing. I would recommend this as your first stop before the dealership and I would recommend if you have a diagnosis from the dealership that you take it to Lewis Auto Repair for a second option. They are a certified BMW mechanic and use only OEM parts which comes with a warranty. Ask bout Mikes BMW master certifications and yo will understand the difference in want he is able to handle and the why behind it. I can tell you from calling around he is one of very few if any with the training outside the area. Thanks again to Mike and Lewis Auto Repair. Please share this with our local BMW community because this place is an somewhat unknown gem that needs to be advertised!!!
