These guys are awesome! I took my van in for a safety inspection and service. They did an outstanding job and recommended getting the tires replaced since they were 10 years old. I took their advice and got the tires replaced at another establishment. The tires were not inflated properly and after a blow out and getting the tire replaced I took my vehicle back to Alex and Frank for inspection. They checked for damages from the blowout and inflated the tires to the proper pressure. They have earned Lifetime customers from both my husband and I. Their work is excellent!

Found this shop and it caught my eye. The reviews are fantastic and it was quick and easy to get an appointment scheduled. I have a busy schedule so having the flexibility to schedule an appointment online is perfect for me. I got an oil change and it was done in a very timely fashion. I recommend this auto shop to anyone that cares about their car because it shows through their attention to detail and great customer service.

I recently took my car to Lifetime Automotive for an overheating issue; they recommended a water pump replacement, expecting a smooth and professional experience. Unfortunately, this was far from the case. After the replacement, I noticed random sounds coming from my vehicle that had never been there before. Concerned, I returned to the shop, hoping they would address the issue. Instead, I was met with a dismissive and condescending attitude. The staff refused to take any responsibility for the new problem, leaving me frustrated and with a vehicle that is now in worse condition than before. I strongly advise against trusting Lifetime Automotive with your vehicle repairs.

The “Service Engine Soon” light on my 2015 Kia Soul came on so I looked for a local automobile mechanic to determine what was needed and to give me a price for the work. When I Googled, mechanics near me, the name Lifetime Automotive appeared. I called them on Friday, January 17, 2025 and he said to bring it in and he could plug into the computer and tell me right away what was wrong and give me a price. I took my car to Lifetime at 12:30, expecting to be told right away what was needed and the price, as he had said he would do over the phone, but once I got there the man I had talked to told me it would take a while. Here is what I text my dad at 12:31PM, “He told me the thing you plug in that tells you the code of what’s wrong isn’t precise enough so he still has to check it out. He says he can text me what’s wrong and the estimate and I can say yes or no.” My dad picked me up at 1PM and took me to my house. About 15 minutes after I arrived home The man at Lifetime called me and said the work would cost $1,600, and there was about $2,000 worth of other work that needed to be done. I said I couldn’t afford that and I would pick up the car. At that point he said I would have to pay $350 to get my car back. I said I hadn’t authorized any work, how could he charge me. He said that’s what it cost to check it out and that’s what I had to pay if I wanted my car back. I asked why he hadn’t told me that before, and he said because I didn’t ask. When I left Lifetime, he didn’t know what was wrong and he was going to call when he found out and get authorization. Fifteen minutes later he called and when I didn’t authorize the work he told me he had already done $350 worth of work that I had to pay for to get my car back. This was a total scam. My dad took me back to Lifetime, and my dad talked to the same person I had been speaking with. My dad told him that we were there to pick up my car. He said I had to pay $350. My dad asked to see the authorization. He said it was all on video, that’s why he had 5 cameras in his office. My dad said, okay, that makes it easy, can you just play back the video that shows my daughter giving authorization, he said no, if you want the car, you have to pay $350. My dad said he would pay, because I had to have my car to go to work, but we would then be filing a complaint, and he smiled and said he was looking forward to it. My dad then used his credit card to pay. I swear under penalty of perjury that I never authorized any repair work. They have 5 cameras, that will prove that I never gave authorization before I left the garage. Also, that means our phone conversation was recorded, and even if only one side of the conversation was recorded, I am sure it will be obvious that I never authorized any repair work.

Lifetime Automotive is what their name implies. They will take care of my Toyota for as long as I have my car, and will keep it running in top shape. They inspected my car for free. They fixed my side mirror after I ran in a sign instead of getting a new mirror assembly and charged me a small amount. Lifetime Automotive is my safety net for my car and they are honest and trustworthy

Alex has been absolutely amazing to work with. I had an issue with my transmission that has been haunting me for a few years, and he fixed it. He will take the time to find you a good quality product at an excellent price, versus a dealership who will automatically throw top dollar parts at you to make an extra buck. The biggest thing for me is honesty and transparency. Out of the mechanics I've been to over the last decade, Alex is beating everyone in those two categories by a landslide. It's refreshing to have a mechanic who is genuinely looking out for you, your vehicle, and your wallet simultaneously.

Recently, I had the pleasure of meeting a phenomenal crew of mechanics at LIFETIME AUTOMOTIVE. My car is an older model - in an effort to sustain its optimal mobility I sought out LIFETIME AUTOMOTIVE and learned that my car has life in it, yet. Alex (the owner) told me that he works with customers to build a plan of action; "scheduled routine maintenance and repairs that will keep your vehicle running at optimum performance." The shop, itself, is vibrant in color and extremely neat in appearance -- though the personalities working in the bays are much neater. L.A. Mechanics are passionate about maintenance and repair. I took a few pictures and scheduled an appointment. Looks like I won't have to get a new car note, after all. Well, not just yet.
