I went it the dealership when my AC was blowing hot air.. I was told an estimate of 2600$ and I heard about Lopez Automotive. He immediately went to work on my car, since my car is my business. I didn't miss a beat and it was ⅓ the cost because Mr Lopez was honest and fair. Mrs Lopez is amazing with customer service. They are friendly, yet professional. I will no longer see a dealership for this car ... Lopez Automotive had my business from now on

I went to Lopez Auto Repair in hopes of getting my vehicle fixed. My vehicle put me down, and I called his shop and asked Mrs. Lopez if I could have it towed to their shop. She said yes without any hesitation. That was my only transportation to work, needless to say I was frustrated. I was overwhelmed and want to express how professional and courteous Mr. and Mrs. Lopez conduct their business. My vehicle was in desperate need of repair. Mr. Lopez immediately invested his time, effort and honesty and explained the entire process along with showing me the problem with the vehicle. I was so happy that he was able to ensure me that he could fix it. He did a great job, not to mention how hot it is, but he was determined to get me rolling again. If you live in the SW Ocala, Belleview, Dunnellon, etc. or any where in the area I strongly recommend going to Lopez Auto Repair. They are great people and also very humble. I truly appreciate his kindness throughout the process of my repairs. Thank you again for you outstanding work and service!!😊

I was passing through the area last week and my truck overheated. I made it to Mr Lopez shop; He dropped what he was doing, knowing I was from out of town and stranded. He promptly found the problem and fixed my truck for a fair price. I had been to a repair shop near my home the day before for the same problem; they did not fix the problem and charged me twice as much!!!! If honesty, integrity, and pride in workmanship are important to you, then chose Lopez Auto Repair for your auto repair needs!! He even offered a 1 year warranty on his work! Him and his wife are awesome!!!!

The staff is amazing. They go above and beyond to make you comfortable and I actually saw them help a lady who damaged her bumper ( fixed it with some straps) and told her no charge!! Best ever service. Would rate 6 stars if I could. My check engine light came on and I had to make an emergency stop. They put me first and solved the issue quickly and efficiently. At a very reasonable cost.

Recent Update: Satisfied Customer Yet Again! Rushing out the door and on my way to work, my car would not start. I was stranded. I called Lopez Auto Repair and within the hour the tow truck got there and towed my car. My car got fixed and I drove away a happy and satisfied customer again. Lopez Auto are truly honest and professional. They strive to give the best service and customer experience possible. A***** have gone to Lopez Auto Repair for the past 3 years whenever I've had car problems on my 2007 Ford or just need and oil and filter change The very first time, was because they were close by my house but they were very professional and got the job done right. I thought it was something major but was pleased that it was just a minor issue. I moved to the other side of town a year ago. My car recently would not turn on. I literally had my car towed to them because they earned my trust and they always provide great service. If I could give them more than 5 stars I would!

I needed a valve stem replaced on a tire that was off the vehicle. They fit me in immediately and it took like 5-7 minutes to do. Friendly Americans as well. Good honest people. Got my car back better than when I bought it in. They are very busy so your car maybe there a little longer than you may expect. In my case several things was going wrong so it took a week or two to fix, But when you get it back it was worth the wait. They work with you and I felt the price was good. I was so thankful. Just be patient and you will be happy.

Mr Lopez helped me after an incident at Walmart. Walmart had given me a very hard time, while Mr Lopez kindly repaired my car only charging me the diagnostic portion of the bill, not the repair. This is the kind of mechanic you want, one that actually cares and has integrity. Another thing I really respect is that he's like an OG mechanic. He's not depending only on a computer to tell him what's wrong with the car. My incident at Walmart got me just to the right place for my car going forward.

I cannot begin to express how great these mechanics are in the Marion oaks area. They were honest about the repairs on my vehicle and gave me valuable advice and tips when it comes to maintenance. After receiving my car, I went back to ensure that there was nothing wrong with it breaks because I heard a sound. They immediately jumped into action and remedy the problem like family. First time I've over felt compelled to leave a review. I've never been here, though I may come by soon. Came across this shop looking for somewhere to take my 86 SS. Figured I'd read up on you guys to see how you conduct your business and what people think of it. Original review: around May 2022: Like many others, I found this family-owned business to be honest and reliable. They replaced a gear shift cable on the day. Their prices are up-front, and they inform you in advance. They also found some leaks, and the estimate to fix was probably worth more than my car. But they said this was not an urgent job, and informed me how to keep the car going for a while much more cheaply. Businesses that do the best for their customers, rather than just go after as much money as possible, will gain my repeat custom, and that of my wife. We have just moved into Marion Oaks, and we are very pleased that there is such a high-quality mechanic close by. Mrs Lopez runs the front desk in a friendly manner as well, We will be back. Update, October 2023: indeed I have been back a few times, both for my car and my wife's. With current interest rates and car prices, it is more effective to keep our old cars going when they are still comfortable and mostly sound. So I asked them to fix those leaks after all. The most expensive job was replacement of a torque converter for my 2001 Pontiac Montana. When the TC goes, it sends in metal fragments that damage the gearbox, so that needs replacement. But the cost for both replacements was far less than I thought it would be (looking at websites). When it comes to my wife's 2007 Landrover LR3, when we lived in GA, many mechanics refused to touch it, and even the Dealerships didn't want to touch an older car. But Mr Lopez has always accepted the job. E.g. a leak in the passenger cabin is often a heater core problem, which is expensive because it is hard to reach. But Mr Lopez tested the coolant pressure and found no drop, meaning this expensive job was not necessary. Yet another example, when the LR3 had a slight problem in keeping straight, he found serious wearing on the front tyres because of a mistake by another place in wheel alignment, which could have been dangerous. So we took it back to that place, which was good enough to both fix alignment and replace tyres. You can tell an honest company if they don't try to talk you into expensive jobs that they might offer. Rather, if possible, both Mr and Mrs Lopez will suggest much cheaper ways to address a problem. E.g. a fuel gauge that isn't quite accurate for low fuel in the tank. Rather than an expensive job needing draining the tank and replacing a stuck sensor, an easy fix is just to full up well before the dial shows "empty".

I feel like I'm part of the Lopez family now!! Jackie and Mr. Lopez are so kind and patient. Jackie explained everything to me fully, completely, and then reexplained it again so I could understand. They were so helpful and trustworthy I brought my mother in law back the next day and had them fix her car up too. And if you thought Jackie was patient and helpful with me, she was doubly patient with my mother in law who had more questions and concerns then I realized. I've never found such a trustworthy mechanic. When I went to pick up my car Jackie told me that Mr. Lopez didn't need to replace certain parts, so the PRICE WENT DOWN!!!!! WHAT!?!?! DOWN??? Are you kidding me? I love Lopez Auto!! 5 billion stars!!
