They might be a tire shop, maybe can change oil. But Automotive definitely NOT. Twice I have brought my vehicle here and both times they said it was one thing I pay for that and come to pick up the vehicle and not only is the problem still a problem they have caused more problems. how do you go to get work done on one thing and they cause other problems more expensive problems (conveniently) that never were a problem to begin with. They need to change their name to Lucas tire shop and stop screwing up peoples cars. After telling other shops about my experiences they have had customers with the same complaints but obviously only the good tire reviews are posted. so here's the truth.

Our electronic module control went out in our 2014 Jeep patriot. We called Lucas Automative, asking for help, 20 minutes before our tow truck dropped the car off. They accommodated us so quickly, were SO helpful, and helped us save so much money. Don't hesitate to call, the guys at Lucas are awesome

Lucas has taken care of me a bunch over the last few years with different fleet vehicles. Most recently repaired AC (dealer stated compressor it needed plastic air dams that were missing) and intermittent transmission issue (2 dealers stated transmission) Glenn found transmission harness melted on exhaust. Was in and out in 2 days, dealer had it for 3 weeks and couldn't fix it. Glenn also arranged towing for me and had me towed in less than an hour. Thanks again for your awesome service.

Do Not take your car here. They rebuilt our transmission 3 years ago and the van has been has problems ever since. Now the transmission is messed up again and they are telling us we have to pay for another.

Best garage around! Great people and good prices with quality work. UPDATE Sadly their great service has dropped to very poor after the pandemic and we have had to look for another garage for our personal as well as our business vehicles. Multiple trips and the same issues are still not corrected but they want to charge for the same issues that were never corrected. 4 trips and counting. We have finally given up time to cut line and run!

I called for a quote and Candace hung up on me Edit after response: Price isn't the only factor in my search, if you stayed on the phone longer than 8 seconds that would've been obvious. Price is of course an important factor as most people can't drop a bunch of money on a big repair, and that lack of empathy for those down on their luck *really* shows your commitment to "long term relationships" Do better

I had some car issues and couldn’t get in with the car dealership who also said they would have kept my car for days. However, we called Lucas auto repair and tire center and they allowed me to bring my car in on the same day. They were very professional and even called about updates on the car… the payment was not too bad I was expecting to pay more!!! I would’ve probably paid double or triple at the dealership. But for the work they did and the great customer service the price was well worth it. I am pleased with the service and will return in the future. Thank you for the fast service!

I have never felt so taken advantage of and ripped off. They looked at my car for 15 minutes. After explaining the problem and the cost to fix, I decided I was going to hold off. They were clearly annoyed and extremely rude over the phone. Feeling validated in my decision not to give them my business, I went to pick up my car. Upon arriving they charged me $150 for 15 minutes of looking under the hood claiming it’s their “diagnostic fee”. I have never experienced such a thing and again was met with rudeness while trying to understand. My entire experience from start to finish was horrible, unprofessional and felt like I was being taken advantage of. I paid, left and will never return.

Would give more stars if possible. Just honest, salt of the earth good and decent people….not easy thing to find these days, especially with auto repairs. I’m just shocked right now at the experience and will 110% go out of my way to bring this place more business. Had a tire leak, went to Gerald’s and told it would be 2 hour wait. Checked Google and found Lucas right next door, called and gentleman was friendly as could be and told me to come right over. Had technician take it back, was fixed and returned within 10 mins or less telling me it was a simple repair to the valve stem. He refused to charge me, even after insisting he run my card for $20 at minimum and he politely refused. This does not happen in the world we live today. Could have told me anything, wouldn’t have questioned anything and just happy to have repaired. Honesty and integrity go a long way. I’ve been procrastinating getting new tires on my truck for a few months, guess where I’ll be first thing next week to get new tires ordered and installed? God bless this business and if wondering where to go, don’t ponder any further…this is the spot.
