BUYER BEWARE!! Choosing Luxury Auto Works was such an expensive disappointment. My son recently graduated college. So, When his 2001 Porsche Boxster had oil leaking into the coolant, I agreed to help him. I chose Luxury Auto Works based on their reviews. While they are personable and have good communication, they do not take accountability for their mistakes. We paid $250 For the diagnostic testing. We trusted that Luxury Auto Works had competent mechanics who could diagnose the problem correctly. This was not the case. We were told by Tom that the oil cooler needed to be replaced and that’s why oil was leaking into the coolant. (Invoice # 32079). After the oil cooler was replaced, We were then told that the water pump needed to be replaced. In total, we paid about $7,000 for these repairs. We were NEVER told that the diagnostic testing was incomplete. We were NEVER told that oil leaking into the coolant could possibly be another issue unrelated to the oil cooler. When my son drove his car home from this repair shop, oil continued to leak into the coolant. It was brought back to the shop. We were then told that the cylinder head was cracked. Luxury Auto Works refused to refund our $7,000. The only option offered was to have his engine replaced for $20,000 ( invoice # 32186) and they would apply a $7,000 credit. So, you want us to throw an additional $13,000 at incompetent mechanics who cannot even thoroughly diagnose his car in the first place? I sought out a second opinion from a different repair shop. He said that these Boxsters are NOTORIOUS for cracked cylinder heads. It is a well known, recognized issue with these vehicles (see photo). He said that any intelligent and experienced mechanic/repair shop would know this is the FIRST place to look if oil was leaking into the coolant in a Boxster. Curtis from Luxury Auto Works later said That some of these issues were due to the fact that my son’s car is 25 years old. Yes, My son does have a 25 year old car. That does not negate the fact that we received incomplete diagnostic testing and were never informed that even if we replaced the oil cooler and water pump, oil leaking into the coolant may be due to another issue. After spending $7,000, my son’s car remains undriveable and had to be towed home from Luxury Auto Works. PLEASE choose a more competent repair shop that actually has integrity when they make mistakes. I would hate for anyone else to get taken advantage of or experience the stress, and frankly, trauma that choosing Luxury Auto Works has caused us. Thank you for reading my review.

I just worked with Luxury Auto Works to repair my Jeep Wrangler 392 and honestly it was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had with an auto shop. I called in and got an appointment right away, dropped it off, and they diagnosed the issue within a day. They followed up with a video clearly showing the exact problem and explaining what needed to be done. As soon as I approved the repair, the part was ordered and showed up the next day, and they had the Jeep fully fixed that same day. Super professional, great communication, and the whole process was easy and smooth. Everything was done perfectly and I’m 100% satisfied. I couldn’t recommend them enough.

The photos I recently posted are of my Lexus, which the luxury auto told me was ready for the third time now. They picked up my vehicle on December 26, 2025. It is still not done! Update 5/22/25 I gave up trying to get them to fix the paint. I found a few spots that bother me but I give up with the back and forth.Apparently, they will never get your vehicle back to the way it was, even though that's what I was told. I do not recommend this place to anyone.

The team at Luxury Auto Works has been great. I recently purchased a 2005 CLK55 AMG cabriolet - they helped me to get the car in tip top condition for years of enjoyment. Couple things I like really enjoy about the team: 1. Communication: before & after videos, clear recommendations, easy to reach a human and truly do what’s necessary. 2. Easy to schedule with and have always been able to accommodate this shoot I’m getting a tow to you, can you help do a quick check today?! Rarely a wait & if there is, it’s quick. 3. Great service and a good team. I brought my collector 88 Landcruiser in while traveling to Austin for the day because it was giving me trouble starting. A friend recommended them so I stopped in on a whim. They pulled me in real quick, hooked up their diagnostic system and tested my cables and battery. Immediately found my starter was starting to fail. They sent one of their runners to their supply house, found me a quality OEM part and had me up and running within 1.5 hours. The lounge area at their Lamar location was great to do my computer work at during my brief wait, and of course all the other extremely nice rides they work on were pretty cool to see… Even though I’m outside of Austin, I would still make the extra drive time to have them work on my vehicles in the future. Fast and fair pricing with good people running the place. Can’t ask for more than that. Thanks.

As a BMW M owner, I’m pretty particular about who I trust to work on my car, and Luxury Auto Works absolutely delivered. I brought my M3 in for a “chassis code restricted” warning, and they diagnosed the issue quickly while clearly walking me through what they were seeing. It was obvious right away that they understand BMWs and performance cars, not just general maintenance. During their inspection they also pointed out the brakes were due soon. I already knew pads and rotors were coming up, so it was reassuring to see how thorough they were rather than just fixing the immediate problem and sending me on my way. I also really appreciated that they use OEM parts, which is important to me when maintaining an M car properly. The shop itself is pristine, the staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and you can tell the technicians take real pride in their work. That level of care and attention goes a long way when you own a performance-focused car like the M3. If you’re looking for a shop that truly understands BMWs and treats M cars the way they should be treated this is a place you can feel confident bringing your car. I’ll definitely be back.
