Wasn't a good experience went to get a patch on my tire and fixed it then found a new hole had to plug it paid 30 dollars then brought the tire and it was another hole it was leaking worse then I brought it to them then told me that it was not any good wouldn't return my money even though it was his job to find the holes the first time he said that it wasn't enough tire pressure to find them when I thought it was his job to make sure that it had enough tire pressure when I came to get my tire fixed

I have sent my wife to M&B twice, I typically do the work on her car, but when I'm too busy I farm it out. We had a good experience our first time around. Today I sent her and she said the person she spoke to originally wasn't there, she was talking to a different employee. The symptoms of the car are this - Wheel hum from rear of car which matches acceleration - Noise stops when veering left - Noise is independent of engine idle (you can rev the engine or let off and the noise doesn't increase or decrease). If you go to google right now and type in those symptoms (or ask any mechanic) they'll tell you "well that sounds like a wheel bearing." Look further and you'll find it's the wheel bearing on the side of the car that when you turn that way, the noise stops. Being independent from the engine revs means there's no transmission involvement. M&B claimed it was a transmission issue, that they would need to call in a special transmission technician, they would need to keep the car over night, and when my wife called me and I reiterated it was a simple bearing replacement, and she relayed that to the M&B employee, he stated the same thing all over again. It will need to be here over night. A special technician will need to see it. No way around it. Now, the standard test to check a bearing is to jack up the suspected wheel and shake it. If it's mobile, it's a bearing issue. He didn't do that. He only test drove the car and heard the hum. I'm not sure if it was carelessness, incompetence, or flat out dishonesty, but nothing here was adding up, so I told my wife to leave. She was hit with a $25 fee for "diagnostics" which I guess is what driving my wife's car down the road amounts to. There was no diagnostics fee the first time around, the last guy my wife saw even made a point to say diagnostics were free. In their defense, diagnostics may have been free because we had work done. That could very well be the case. But the fact stands, I had to pay $25 for an incorrect diagnosis which amounted to a man driving my wife's car for a bit. I'll never be back. It's very hard to find a mechanic I trust, and whatever the reason M&B got this very simple diagnostic wrong, they've lost my trust, and my future business. I'm giving them one extra star beyond the mandatory one, because I did appreciate the first service we had a few years back. EDIT: Took to a second mechanic who replaced my wheel bearing in 20 minutes and now the hum is gone.

This is a very small individual owned establishment owned by foreigners, I know what you're thinking, because I thought the same thing until this particular day I was in desperate need of someone who could put on the two tires, this day I called around several places asking prices for what I needed done I had bought them from Let It Go, I purchased them both used and knowing that I would eventually use and kept them in my trunk, here I am after 3 hours on bald tires far enough away from my home had I broke down , now I am disabled and live only on the income from Social Security Disability from month to month, my bald tire blew out right here, the owner's son came running out to see if I was ok, I filled him in on my day , he then said I can do that for you in about 14 minutes for only $ 16 a tire, that's the best price I was in search of all day so he changed them both charging only $ 32 no tax. That alone people set in my address book the place to go for all my needs for my old car , they offer everything, at discounted prices, in Landmark, near East End on Terra St, across from the Little Caesars Pizza ,.

Waited two and half hours for my tires to get installed then I got home and noticed my center cap was missing. Went back and they said they are not responsible for it after I left. I do not recommend anyone using this company they are highly un professional.

I've been doing business with these guys for years. They are by far the nicest folks to do business with. I purchased a used tire from them about a week ago only to wake up one morning and it was completely flat. I aired it up an went there today to explain what was going on. They checked the tire then asked me how far I had driven it while it was flat. I had not driven it while it was flat. Not even an inch. I explained that I had an air pump in my car and aired it up as soon as I saw it. To my surprise they refused to do anything to rectify the problem. Long story short..they sold me a bad tire and won't take any responsibility for their actions. Only tried to get me to buy another used tire. I explained that I'm disabled and don't have anymore money right now. (It took me 7 months to come up with the money for the first tire.) Feeling ripped off because they sold me a damaged tire then blamed me for the damage! Before I posted here I tried to talk to them and they refused to make it right.

These guys check my tire air everytime my check air light comes on an put air in for a couple dollars, they also check all the other tires and add air if need be...very friendly service! Recommend these guys...
