Matt has been my mechanic for over 20 years. I have referred many of my friends to Matt and they all have been pleased with his work. Matt pricing is reasonable and his work is excellent.

I live close by, we always take my car there. It actually needs to be looked at again this week. Very decent dude, always been legit on price and work. Plus he is a vintage VW fan and since we drive a bus and a baja... he gets a double thumbs up ♧

Had my Toyota Tundra towed in due to a locked up tensioner pulley and a new belt. They told me they were going to contact me and let me know what they found. Did not receive a call until the following day when they called me and told me my truck was finished before letting me know how much it was going to cost. I was charged $564.52 for tensioner and a belt when the dealership told me they would only charge me $400. I was referred by a coworker of mine to have my truck brought there. Unfortunately it was a very costly lesson.

If you need reliable and HONEST work done on your car, then go here. Matt and his staff are great. And he doesn't hick up the price for a repair just because you are female or an uninformed male.

My husband was stranded on I-4, last night. The road ranger check the battery and the engine and everything seems ok. My husband and my son tried everything including checking the fuse and they though that the problem was electrical. The tow guy took the truck to M&D Auto repair because they are honest and they will tell you for sure was is the problem. Well the problem was a fuse, in the less than 15 minutes they fix my husband truck and gave him some advice. All of them are very courteous, honest and friendly. Thanks😊 I recommended 👍

Do Not Come Here !This place doesn't even deserve the one star my husband brought his truck here to get fixed got a quote for $306 and that included parts and labor and all of a sudden that conversation never happened SHOCKER let alone they don't provide you with the estimate invoice which they are required to give to customers if the repairs are more then $100 along with the information of parts and labor which the customers have to sign BEFORE any repairs are done but they couldn't give me an answer to why they didn't give him the estimate invoice when it's the LAW and let's add to the FACT that they didn't even fix the problem of the truck and expected us to pay close to $600 for basically NOTHING the truck is running worse compared to when he actually brought it in AND they replaced another part without any authorization from my husband LETS ADD ON lady in the front also claimed she called and left voicemails about the truck during the whole month they had it in there possession and strangely enough the phone number was correct and yet we didn't receive any missed calls nor voicemails in the end they just removed the unauthorized part such a shame we have never felt more scammed from any business like today left highly unsatisfied taken advantage of and upset know your rights people i don't recommend anyone to come here.

Dropped my car off for a few things, making sure to explain that the driver side door seal, (which they couldn't fix) was leaky and was told the car would always have a bay to be inside of. After over a month I finally pick my car up, and look, full of water. I won't be returning. Update: With the car being there over a month, you'd think they'd have noticed the leak in the ac. Nope. The ac that I paid TWICE to have fixed, was NEVER fixed.

Fixed my truck up right. Needed my truck fixed so when I drove it with the AC on it didn't make my oil leak or my rpms dip down. And diagnosed it, fixed it did an oil change and tire rotation and alignment for under $200. Amazing. And they're super friendly too.

I love this little shop! Every time I have to come in they actually LISTEN to my issues, fixing what's actually wrong. Great communication and affordable pricing. I'll be back for sure!

Took my car here to get fix after already knowing my exact issues from my car original dealership. The owner here got upset because i said i was ok with staying and watching my car & i didn’t want to leave my car alone because i know how auto repair shops would come up with other issues to increase the price. Sure enough when i said i would stay the owner got mad & started talking so bad while i was actually sitting right in the office all because i said i trust me decision & i know what my issue is on my car & that i didn’t want other work done that he requested i need done. I was already upset so i ignored it only because i can tell the mechanic Hector felt very bad for me so he tried his best to make sure he help me even after the owner & the secretary (a women) was whispering talking badly about me. After the mechanic Hector fixed the original issue i said needed to be fixed. Guess What? My car brakes are working perfectly. I avoided the $400 bill & left only paying $158. Thank God i didn’t let what the owner & his secretary say get to me or screw me over for more money. I now see why it’s barely anybody there & they don't get any business. Which is why they were available to work on my car right away

After being told that my vehicle needed expensive mechanical work by another company, I brought it to M&D for a second opinion. They completed a timely inspection, walked me through the appearance of my vehicle and determined that I did not need the previously quoted work completed. They were extremely knowledgeable, customer service oriented, and honest. This company was recommended to me by a friend and I will definitely be using them in the future.

I have used M&D Auto for around five years now, and I wish I had found them much sooner! Mat and the crew are friendly, competent and honest. I've saved thousands of dollars by using M&D. I had a dealership quote me $1,700.00 for a repair, took the car to M&D and found it was actually something totally different, and would only cost around $350.00 to repair. I have recommended M&D to quite a few people, and will continue to do so. Thanks for the great service!

We went through a red light a few minutes from our gym and all of a sudden an alert came on that our front right tire was losing pressure quick! It was completely flat in less than 30 seconds, but thank God for Mat Steele with M&D Auto Repair. He let us pull right into one of his bays, used his jack to lift the truck and air the tire up so we could see what the issue was. When we saw that it was a huge split that couldn’t be repaired, he got down on the wet concrete and helped my husband get the spare tire from under the truck. We tried to pay him, but he wouldn’t let us and said it was the right thing to do and he was happy he could help us. This was just a perfect example that humanity isn’t completely lost and there really are amazing people left in this world. We couldn’t be more grateful!

⭐ 1 Star Review — “Be Careful Before Taking Your Car Here” I really hate leaving bad reviews, but I don’t want anyone else to go through what we did. We’ve taken our cars to M&D Auto Repair in Winter Haven for a couple of years, mostly for basic things like oil changes and tires, and they always seemed fine. But when we started having a more serious issue, things went downhill fast. A little over a year ago, my “Coolant Low” light came on. M&D said the tank was bad and replaced it — over $400. About a year later, the same light came on again. They told me it was “just the sensor,” but that the whole tank had to be replaced again — another $400+. Within a couple of weeks, the light was back on. I brought it back (it was under warranty that time) and asked them to also check my tires and brakes because I could hear the brakes and thought one tire might be bad. They later called to say they’d replaced the tank and that everything else looked fine. We picked the car up, parked it for a week, and then took it out — and the tire blew out on the way to pick my daughter up from school. AAA towed it to a nearby shop, where they fixed the tire and told me my brakes were actually really bad. They also mentioned that the “Engine Coolant Low” light was still on — again. At that point, I realized M&D hadn’t actually done what they said. They hadn’t replaced the tank, checked the brakes, or inspected the tires. They just kept saying it was a sensor issue. I drove it for a while with the light on, but eventually, the car started overheating. When I took it back, before they even looked at it, the receptionist insisted it couldn’t possibly be related to the tank. After looking at it, they suddenly claimed it was a hose problem — the same issue all along — and somehow tried to make it sound like my fault. I told them I was done and wanted to take my car elsewhere, and they still charged me another $95 “inspection” fee and for a new coolant cap (even though I had already paid for three tanks, none of which apparently included a cap). Long story short: DO NOT GO HERE. They might be fine for basic oil changes or tire rotations, but for anything beyond that, they clearly don’t know what they’re doing — and worse, they’ll take your money and say work was done when it wasn’t.
