Baltimore’s hidden gem! So happy I found this place. My experience was top notch. Mike (and team) are friendly, quick and reliable. I was told I needed new brakes and a new battery at another mechanic. The quote they gave me was outrageous so I shopped around and stumbled upon M&M. Not only were M&M’s prices super competitive but after taking a look at my car Mike said my battery was perfectly fine, even tested it right in front of me to show me. It’s so nice to find a trustworthy mechanic. I’m never going anywhere else!

Mike showed up late to the appointment and didn’t give a warm first impression. My car is a hybrid and when explaining the problem we had, he quickly brushed it off as normal without asking clarifying questions or doing any critical thinking. When asking to do a diagnostic check just in case, he reluctantly agreed without explaining the process. It was our first time there so we weren’t sure if diagnostic checks were free. And when we asked, he said it was $85. Every time we asked a question about transmission fluid or clutch fluid, he had a skeptical attitude and sometimes laughed. We aren’t the experts here, he is, so it felt condescending to ask valid questions and to feel dismissed. At the end, he admitted that he’s not well versed in hybrid cars, which would have been nice to know at the beginning when he was so certain that our car didn’t have issues. We didn’t learn much and he could have been more patient. Overall it felt disorganized, non transparent, and we felt like we were a nuisance for being there even though we scheduled an appointment for someone to take us seriously.
