My battery wasn't holding a charge. They charged and tested it for me for a nominal sum, then tested my alternator for free. I appreciated that they showed me the voltage output instead of expecting me to take their word for it. They told me I likely needed a new battery but didn't push a sale on me right there.

I was having a really hard time that cold day when I had a flat tire. After I changed my spare tire on my minivan and started driving tot the tireshop I didn't realize that the spare was so low on air. It couldn't handle the weight and it burst before I made it to a tire shop. I Ubered myself to Plotkins with the flat tire in my hand and at Plotkins they took good care of me and fixed my flat tire right away and I Ubered myself back to my car. And this time when I was trying to lift my car up the jackscrew wasn't handling all that wight of my mini van and came crashing down ( I had a lot of stuffs from moving in the vehichle). I called up Plotkins to see if they could offer me any help, to come to where I was and help me change my tire. And they did! The owner I believe is a very nice guy and he sent out two gentlemen workers with a pro jackscrew and changed my tire quickly and got me up and running right away. Bottomline: I highly recommend this place. And the price is reasonable!

My tire kept going flat and I couldn’t figure out why. I went to this place and within 20 minutes after arrive, they gave me a diagnosis and referred me to a tire shop for my specific car. They were kind and even took pictures to explain what was wrong and how it could be fixed. Highly recommend.

After searching for a mechanic to align my car for over a week. I stopped by a shop off Pennsylvania ave, they didn't do alignments but recommended Plotkins. I went in and got my alignment, no bs, no and oh I found this that and the third. Straight to the point no nonsense service. Thank you Plotkins. I will be back.

I went to this business December 13,2022 for an oil change and to have my passenger side exterior door handle removed, and installed. I have frequented Plotkins on several occasions, however this time was a disaster and disappointment. My property was stolen from my vehicle, while in the bay area. My property was presented before it was driven into the bay area. I brought the theft to the manager 's attention, however nothing was done concerning the theft. I will never return to Plotkins or refer anyone to this business!

I called Plotkins and a very nice lady answered the phone. She helped me and told me they would be able to get the work done the day I called since they had the tires in stock. I brought my car over at 10 and picked it up at 5. Tires changed, balanced, and oil changed all at a very reasonable price!! When I picked up my car I met the owner and he is super friendly too. Great customer service and my car is running tip top shape. Thanks Plotkins!!!

Best crew in the city, the mechanics are extremely nice and hard working. They don’t try to up sell you anything. If they notice something while working on your vehicle they will give you good recommendations on what to do about it. The owner is extremely funny and a great guy. If you need a new car mechanic this is the place to go! 10/10

My tire rim was bent and needed to be fixed up. These guys helped me out within 5 minutes of arriving on site. I got the tires fixed up and they only charged $30. They followed up with a tire alignment after I was concerned about the wheel pull. I recommend this spot - great guys.

Andrew and the rest of the team were very helpful in diagnosing and fixing another shop's mistake. (I couldn't make it to the original shop for the fix because my car had lost all of its oil due to an incorrect filter being used.) Google says they're open at 8:30 and that wasn't quite accurate, but they did help me as soon as they got in between 8:45 and 9. Everyone was very respectful and communicative.
