I’m excited that I found this hidden gem in my neighborhood and have already started spreading the word about how wonderful they were with my car and ME! I recently had to replace the 12v battery in my 2017 Prius V 2 and the mechanic that helped me tripped a switch that ended up giving us a “hybrid malfunction” alert that interfered with the car restarting after the battery replacement! I didn’t know where to take my vehicle, because this was the first mechanical failure I’ve had. I definitely DIDN’T want to go to the dealership due to cost, and wanted a mom & pop shop in my neighborhood. I searched Google and the first option was M&N Absolute Auto Repair, I called for help and Michelle answered the phone. Boy was I lucky!!!! She told me they’d take my car and I had it towed over that night. Not only did they get my car working again for a very decent cost, they also inspected everything and took pictures so I know what to look for in the future. I’m so grateful to this shop and their mechanics for all of their assistance to get my car back up and running again for a very reasonable cost! Thanks M&N!

I normally hate the thought of going to a car shop because I always feel like an easy target because I know nothing about cars so when my car started to make a weird noise when I brake, I was dreading looking for a mechanic. I got a referral to M&N auto from a friend and my entire experience was amazing. When I called to set up my appointment the woman I spoke to I believe her name was Sarah was genuinely helpful and cared about my issue and wanted to get me in right away. When I arrived for my appointment. Sarah was training a new hire I believe by the name of Kayla, both of which were so extremely helpful and nice and talked to me through the entire process. Even Kayla being new only a few days on the job was able to completely explain to me the process what would be happening and how they would go about diagnosing my vehicle and I left my car in capable hands, knowing that things would be taken care of. When I arrived later to pick up my car, the mechanic stayed late just to take a test drive with me to make sure that he wasn’t missing anything, and Sarah went above and beyond to make sure that I knew all of my options for payment as well as what needed to be taken care of immediately versus what I could wait on for my car. I never felt any pressure and they did not try to sell me anything that I didn’t need. You could tell that they genuinely cared about their customers and just wanted to help I will definitely be going back to them as their pricing was fair and their customer service was excellent.

When I had taken my car in there they had dropped me off and picked me up when I was off work. They are super nice people to work with. Thank you.

M&N Absolute is top notch, you can trust your vehicle here. They communicate well, follow up, are very transparent, document issues with photos and give you options. They also have a shuttle within 10 miles. They define customer service.

The front office (Vicky, Hailey and Sarah) were very professional and well informed about the repairs that were done to my car. They kept me updated daily.

Sarah and the mechanics did a phenomenal job. Sarah went above and beyond communicating with my warranty and helping me out a lot to get my claim through. Thank you to the mechanic(s) who fixed up my baby! Cannot recommend this shop enough.

I had my car worked on, and M&N was great! They gave me a ride to and from my house while they were working on my car. They kept me updated on the progress of my repairs. I would highly recommend them.

Our 2016 Kia suddenly stopped running on the freeway. We had it towed to our go to place for work in our cars, M&N. They have served us well for a number of years. They determined the engine had Seized. This is a noted warranty problem for certain models of Kia’s .They stored the car at no cost for three days while we made arrangements for Kia to replace the engine. What else did the do at no cost for us? They gave us a list of additional items we should be sure we also asked be replaced at the same time due to the seized engine. M&N clearly cares about their customer's even if it’s just to help them negotiate with another company. Like I said, M&N is our go to car repair shop. Our first choice every time.

Everybody there is really nice, very inviting. They even remembered my name, which I thought was really crazy. But I really appreciate that. When I first did my business here at one point I received something from the mail, I got a scratch card. I didn't win anything but I thought that was still pretty neat. I also like the complementary shuttle service, you'll have to be a local to be able to utilize the shuttle service. It's not a bus but it's somebody's personal vehicle, like an uber

Quoted $1200 for ONLY front brakes pads rotors and calipers. This quote was pretty steep from two other shops I got estimates at. The only reason I came here was for convenience of scheduling. Felt very pressured and scammed. I’d urge people to take their business elsewhere.

This shop, like many shops, does everything they can to boost their sales, and that's to be expected. These guys do it many ways: they charge a minimum diagnostic fee of $165 for everything, which is fair. What they won't do is apply it to the total repair cost, even if it takes them a few minutes to figure out the problem. Secondly, they mark up the cost of parts 200-300%. They wanted to charge me $150 for a distributor cap costing $50 for a name brand part. I don't have a problem with a reasonable markup b/c they have to spend time tracking down parts and getting them in. A 20-50% markup is fair, but not 300%. Lastly, they do what a lot of shops do: they look for and create issues to repair to try to get you to pay for more work whether it's warranted or not. I wouldn't fault them for this practice if they were flagging LEGITIMATE issues and put the recommended repairs into context: "Maintenance item", "not urgent", "fix soon", "critical", something like that. Among the many items they flagged on my old truck, they told me I needed new front brakes, and a new air cleaner. Had they actually inspected those items they would have seen that the brakes were brand new all around (rotors and drums, calipers, pads and brake shoes, hoses, fluid) and the air cleaner was, and still is, clean as a whistle. The worst offense was the office manager trying to get me to commit to spending $2,000 to remove a friggen oxygen sensor! They claimed that it was nearly impossible to remove it from the exhaust manifold and so they may have to remove and replace the manifold to install a new O2 sensor if they couldn't get it out. They didn't want to tie into it if I wouldn't commit to spending $2K. I declined and took it home. I got under the truck and I was able to remove the oxygen sensor in less than 5 minutes using basic hand tools. It was actually easier to remove than a spark plug! This review is unfortunate because some of the technicians clearly know their craft. But the management’s pricing and sales practices feel unethical, and for that reason I won’t be returning.

They told me I have an oil leak, and am 500 miles away from my oil change, when I was 600 miles over, and the sticker on the windshield would have told them that much. Quoted me for thousands of dollars of work I do not need, because they diagnosed my problems wrong. Was going to have them replace the part in my truck I was having a problem with until they said I have a major transmission leak and their proof of having a major leak is a picture of my dipstick showing my fluid is full (photos provided). It’s at the same level it was when I bought it back in January.

Really disappointed. Just feel scammed. Got oil changed in van for my nonprofit. Got their inspection report and was told needed brakes, rotors, and lines for $945 due to rusted rotors. A battery and materials for $330, and two tires. Took van to Les Schwab for tires and was shown breaks were actually in great shape and battery was good too. M&N straight up tried to lie me into $1200+ of work. I'll never go back to M&N.

M&N has been my go-too for auto repair and maintenance for many years now. I have a Honda civic that’s over 13 years old with almost 200, 000 miles on it. The best testament to M&N Absolute Auto Repair is the fact that I have had no car problems at all. They keep my car tip top and running well despite its age. Thank you M&N!!!

My experience with this company was very good being a single father I was highly skeptical going into any shop to get work. Sarah was very professional understanding and kind She showed patient and care I can’t remember the mechanic that did the job, but I talked with him and he broke down everything that he believed was going on and causing my transmission to leak I was sent pictures step-by-step with details each process had pictures and constant follow ups. I highly recommend this company for their hard work and care for their customers.

Long time customer but will never go back after this last experience! Charged me $2000 for a fuel pump replacement, coolant service and tow. Still was not working and then tried to charge me another $1500 for a TIPM because of now a bad fuel relay that wasn’t diagnosed the first time. Declined service and had it towed away from there. My neighbor was able to help. Get a part he ordered online for $119. Had it installed in 7 minutes and now my van runs great. I feel this shop took advantage of me and the customer service was less than to be desired.

Do not I repeat do not take your vehicle to this shop. I am a secret shopper and have a fleet of cars that are maintained meticulously and hidden cameras in car. The ripped me off 281 dollars for work they did not do and tampered with my engine and said there was a vacuum leak. They liked the car so much they got a copy of my spare key and went through my glovebox to look for papers i suppose that are not kept in the car. My hidden cameras got the recording visuals and audio and I am almost sure that the place will be closed within a week. Dont bother going there.

Brought my vehicle in for a rattling noise that was occuring when starting cold. It was a real hard issue to diagnose since it only happens in the mornings and this is partially why I did not give them 1 star. The first fix was to replace the starter which seemed logical to me since the noise only happens when starting the car. My understanding was that they were not able to recreate the issue but this was the best course of action to fix the rattle. When I went to pick it up the car made the noise I was talking about in front of one of the receptionist so I left the car with them to further diagnose. Understandably, it took a couple days for them to get back to working on the car as they had other vehicles to work on. The second diagnostic seemed more thorough and they claimed that I needed a new ECU. Total for the repair was close to $4500, starter, ECU, transmission fluid and some other general maintenance items. I was also informed, that they noticed a rattle when starting that seems to be the timing chain, another $3000 if I want to fix it. This seem strange as the rattle is primarily what I brought the car in for. Next morning after I had picked the car up I go to start it and it's making the exact same noise and it seems to be making the noise more often and louder. So not only did I spend $4500 for a repair that didn't fix my issue but my car seems to be running worse than before. After typing out this review I realize I cant in good conscience give them more than 1 star... I truly feel that I was scammed and cannot recommend them to service someone else's vehicle.

My 2003 F-150 Truck at 178000+ miles, was showing the signs of old age, and a few weeks ago decided that it had been neglected for too long. We priced used/new trucks at $20 - $30 - $40 - $60K, and with all the new digital crap on the new vehicles, we decided that putting money into my truck (that I love) seemed like a good option. In the recent past, we used M and Auto to bail us out on our Honda, and even though still expensive, M and N Auto helped us out with a used transmission and labor cost, making it affordable to fix. They were fair, professional, and earned our trust, so when we talked about fixing our truck, we had it towed to M and N Auto. I NOW have my truck back running and driving like new! I still have small stuff to fix, and M and Auto has earned my repeat business for my nice 2003 F-150 that KID YOU NOT, I received a compliment from someone yesterday saying, "Is that a 2-wheel drive Super Crew? That's a nice truck! Thank you, M and N. 5 Stars!

This is the best mechanic shop I have experienced, and highly recommend M&N to anyone in need of car repairs and service! Here is my story with M&N: I live in California and bought a classic car from Alaska that the previous owner transported to Everett last year. Before shipping it back to CA, I thought it would be good to get the major mechanical issues taken care of. However, my classic car is a very rare 41 year old Lincoln Continental Mark VII Gianni Versace designer edition that is equipped with the even more rare BMW sourced turbo-diesel engine, so finding a suitable shop that could do it was no easy task. Fortunately, my searching lead me to M&N, an outstanding women owned and run business in Everett. Michelle was who I first spoke to and she was an absolute pleasure to work. They have a great electronic system that clearly details all the issues with the cars, with detailed price breakdowns, mechanic notes and photos, making it a breeze to understand what is needed and accept or decline each suggested repair. Sadly, Michelle had to resign because of personal family issues, then, Sarah took over, again providing excellent service and keeping me up to date via text and calls. Sarah continued the excellent service, providing regular updates on my car with it's very difficult to find parts. Robb was the mechanic that worked on my car and like Sarah and Michelle, he also provided excellent service, and got my car road worthy again. If you need service on your classic or newer vehicle, look no further than M&N. I serve on the Board of Directors for the official Lincoln and Continental Owners Club and am very experienced with mechanic shops, having been a classic car enthusiast and collector for most of my life. My experience at M&N was nothing short of outstanding! They do very high quality work for a fair price, even considering the great difficulty they went through finding parts for and working on my car. They offer a convenient shuttle to take you around locally and are ideally located in Everett. Most importantly, they operate with integrity, something that is often lacking in the automotive industry. '84 Continental Mark VII Gianni Versace Edition
