My wife has a 1998 daily driver Corvette. I had estimates up to $8,000 to have it painted, my thoughts are the car isn't worth much more than that, so that was out. We took it to Maaco in York and got the top of the line paint job! WOW were we pleased! Not a flaw in the paint and boy did it shine! I was very pleased with the price, the quality of the work and the staff was very professional. What made me make the decision was when they took me to the shop to see their work in process. I will definitely will be bringing them more work in the future!! Thanks

Macco did a very good job on the painting of our 2003 toyota matrix. My wife ran her own auto body shop for 20 years. She knows her business and she complimented them on a good job. While our car was on the maco lot awaiting painting. The driver's side rear view mirror was cracked, Maccos rep ( Amanda ) Ordered a new mirror and painted it for us. The new owners of this macco franchise Know all about customer service unlike the previous owners From years ago

I had a great experience at this Maaco. Friendly service during the estimate and pick up made for a comfortable experience. The work they did to my car turned out exactly as I’d hoped it would at a fair price, saving me money. I’ll be recommending the York Maaco over other Maaco shops in the future.

I had a terrible experience with this place and will never go back. I was in a car accident and my passenger door got damaged. It took them over a month to fix it. The first time I called them they said it will be ready in couple days. 2nd time I called, they said it’s not ready yet, give them a week. Finally went there to see what’s going on and the people there argued that due to them being overbooked, it took them a while. It’s not my fault you’re overbooking your schedule. So then, they said it will be ready in 2 days. 2 days later, went there in the afternoon and noticed that the driver’s window was covered with plastic. Found out they ACCIDENTALLY broke the glass. Take note, no one reached out to us and let us know about it. Waited another day. When we went there, we inspected the truck and found out there was a deep scratch and dent on the hood. That was never there before. They told us to come back to fix it. Also, they were supposed to install the step end cap , they said it’s still in order and hasn’t arrived it. So they suggest to come back when that piece arrives. It’s already almost a year no one reached out to us. Yup this place is a joke!

My husband and I met with Justin at Maaco. His professionalism was outstanding. Please know that the Corporate app doesn't work for appointments or quotes, but if you need a professional paint job, this place is fair and easy. I'll stop back when it's finished being painted and let you know the results! ~ Deb Just got our truck back. Super excited about the job Maaco did on the truck. She's just gorgeous. Have to go back for some touch ups, but they pointed out the issues and are making it right. Now THAT'S INTEGRITY!

The guys at Maaco did an outstanding job with my car! I needed a part of the retractable roof replaced and they were extremely helpful and accommodating of my time! The car looks great and I would definitely use them again in the future!

Maaco single stage paint. I did do a lot of the prep work. Paint was surprisingly even, with very good coverage overall. After going over the whole car, there is 1 small area of orange peel on the hood. It's small and you would never see it if you weren't looking for flaws. Overall, a good paint job - not show quality but definately a bargain for the price. I am very pleased with how it turned out.

Great customer service & repairs. The estimate writer Amanda was so courteous gave me options and explanation price costs for the damage my vehicle she helped me save up lots of bucks cheaper than other collusion centers I took my car for the quote or estimate. Keep up a good job

1st time I've painted a car. 2002 Saab, older, in good shape, clear coat was looking bad, older black trim all grey and looked terrible, couple spots of rust, a hood dent, and a damaged front bumper (you know from cement parking blocks) . Purchased for a new driver, so I went with an inexpensive option and Jon ungraded me with a special he had going. All in all with Jons attention to detail on my Saab, his guys skills, I handed my girl a nearly new Saab, born from Jets!

Maaco did a wonderful job repairing my truck. I dropped off a rusted, dented vehicle with dings and scratches galore. I picked up a vehicle that looks like it just rolled off the assembly line. To top it off, the price came in as quoted (about half the price of the dealership's quote), was delivered three days earlier than promised and Maaco actually repaired another minor issue that wasn't in the proposal. The Maaco team deserves five stars for professionalism, customer service, work performed and friendliness.

The positive: Jon and Jason have awesome customer service skills. Very cordial, responsive, friendly, and don't make you feel rushed. The quote was spot on with the work, which is rare for body/paint shops. The negative: I had a full detail done to my car about a week prior to getting work done here. From iron remover, clay, compound, polish, glaze, seal and wax. Car was flawless, smooth as glass, paint corrected with no swirls or anything. After the detail, I noticed some ugly, missing paint on one spot my rear bumper. Didn't think it would be a hard fix or possible to screw it up since it was so small, so I tried Maaco. The color matched pretty well when looking spot on. When looking downward, it's a much lighter shade. The paint has orange peel all over it. My entire car is glass smooth, and now the entire rear bumper is orange peel and the reflection is distorted. I hit the bumper with a cutting compound and a cutting pad, hoping to clean it up a bit but it didn't do too much. I called in and mentioned the orange peel, and asked Jason how thick the paint was, mentioning possibly wetsanding to remove the orange peel. He gave me the information I needed, but didn't offer to take a look at it or fix the problem. Weird. I did a light spray down and wash to remove some of the paint dust on the car, being extra careful around the painted areas (light pressure, PH balanced wash, etc.). While drying the vehicle, I felt tons of spots that were rough on the hood, fenders, doors, windows, and even parts of my wheels. It was overspray. A lot of it. I had just clayed my car recently, so the front of my car was smooth as hell, but the rear half had a ton of overspray. Took out the clay bar and corrected the overspray. After claying, I could see the marks of where the painters tape was on my car, as it seemed to pull off some of the sealant I had applied during my detail. So I use a blue foam pad and light polish, correct that. Just a lot of work to do when I just needed one small area fixed. I'm going to have to wetsand and try to remove the orange peel. If that doesn't work, I'll have to get it resprayed. The saying goes, "you get what you pay for", and that holds true. They had an excellent price for the work, but now I have and will be investing so much time to correct it, that I should have just stuck to the dealership body shop (Maaco did save me $300 from their quote). Picture is showing the color "match" of the bumper painted and the panel above it. Zoom in on the lower half and notice the orange peel, too. Not so concerned with the orange peel because it can be corrected fairly easily.

The General Manager and team did a great job painting an 07 van with peeling maroon paint. Looks almost new again. Also included fixing some dents not originally seen, corrected a seat base inside, and cleaned up the head lights. Would highly recommend using the Maaco in York!

Terrible experience, I do not recommend them. I took my car to this shop for a paint repair after an accident, and the service was a complete disaster. They took longer than promised to deliver it, and during the process, they broke the rear window. Without consulting me, they replaced it with a generic one, and only after I complained did, they agree to install the original factory glass. By the time they finally installed the correct window, my car had been sitting in the shop for several days without protection in that area, accumulating polishing dust, fiberglass residues, and dirt all over the interior. On top of that, it seems they don’t properly cover vehicles when painting, as the rest of the car was covered in paint residue. I had to return multiple times to have it polished and corrected, and yet they still delivered it completely dirty inside. To make matters worse, they replaced the glass without the solar protection film my original window had. I only noticed this later. When checking the trunk, I noticed that all the tire-changing tools were missing, along with the foam that supports the spare tire. After insisting, they replaced the foam, but they never returned the tools or provided any explanation. To top it off, the paint on the rear bumper started peeling shortly after, proving the poor quality of their work. The staff were friendly, but the service is subpar, and the lack of professionalism is evident. After all the time and money I spent, the least I expected was a proper job. I do not recommend them at all.

Great work. Great communication. Car looks awesome. There were some minor blemishes noticed at pickup, but the team at Maaco is more than happy to make it right. We appreciate that level of customer service and would recommend Maaco to anyone needing paint and body work!

My name is Nikki and I got my car painted October 2017 at the York location at Maaco. I would not recommend using this company if you want a good paint job that will last! The front bumper has been repainted twice and still coming off in chunks. I got the paint that was recommended to me that would last and spent the extra money instead getting the cheaper paint to just put on to make look nice to sell. The sales rep told me was just under the factory paint and that it will last if taken care of. I keep up with my car inside and out including waxing every 6 months! Very Very Very disappointed that it has not lasted because I wanted to keep this car as long as I can and now the whole car needs to be stripped to be made right. Also when took my car in the last time to get repainted, once I picked it up all my quarters that were in my ashtray were taken! I called to let them know and the response was let me know how much they took I will reimburse the money. I told him not to bother because I had no clue how many quarters I had in my ashtray I just knew it was filled and now there are none. NOT HAPPY WITH THIS COMPANY IN ANY WAY!

This location is great! The people are great! They all seem to care about my car as much as I do. I had a giant rust spot that was slowly eating away at my entire rear driver-side door. They made it look completely new. Very impressive, and somewhat magical work. I highly recommend this location for all body work. The price point was perfect!

I recently returned to Maaco to have my car repainted. A few years ago, under different management, I experienced peeling after a previous paint job, so when I came back in October 2025, I carried a bit of hesitation. From the start, the difference was undeniable. Although there were a few delays during the process, Amanda communicated with me every step of the way. She ensured I was never left wondering, and that alone spoke volumes about the integrity and commitment of this team. The real moment of truth came when I arrived to pick up my vehicle. Their care, craftsmanship, and willingness to stand behind their work left a lasting impression. 𝗜 𝗱𝗼𝗻’𝘁 𝗴𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝗹𝘆 — 𝗜’𝗺 𝗮 𝘁𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵 𝗰𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗰.
