Last night my fiancé noticed that his muffler was hanging unusually low. He had been traveling all weekend and feared there might be some serious and expensive damage – not good news the week before Christmas. He found Macon Muffler online and went in as soon as they opened this morning. They were timely (they had him in and out in 10 minutes!), honest (letting him know that the damage was minimal and easily fixed), and affordable - all rare qualities in the auto repair industry. There website says they open at 8 am. When I got there the sign said 8:30. I waited untill 8:30. And even called there number and left a message asking them to call me back. I never heard from them. I went to Scotty's Muffler on Shirlington. I was very happy with the way I was treated and the price.

Very prompt service and down to earth people. Before this I had taken my car to another shop where the owner said he'll have to order the part for the repairs. I agreed and called him 3 days later if the part arrived yet. He never picked up nor did he call me back even though I left him two voice messages. Now Macon muffler quickly assessed my needs and fixed the problem in less than 30 minutes (no extra part needed ); and the job cost me five times less than what the other muffler shop had quoted. Now why did this other shop treat me like this? I reserve my comments. But thank you Macon muffler. You restored my faith in the goodness of humanity.
