My father has taken his car here from time to time over the years and only has good things to say. I've had a few things done here as well and it's always a professional job. The garage sits in the back, and there are always some nice old cars hanging about. I wasn't sure if they would even work on my little honda fit but it wasn't a problem, they know what they're doing.

Marty was excellent very reasonable, and he stuck to his word. I called them on a Tuesday morning and by Tuesday evening I was on the road again. I was having problems with the brake fluid leaking in the rear drum. Highly recommend Marty’s.

I heard about Marty a few years ago, and decided to take our Toyota truck to him for major repairs. I was so impressed by how up front and honest he was/is, how he took the trouble to explain the process and prices to me, and especially how diligent of a worker he is. If I call and leave him a message, I can be sure that he will call me back in a timely manner. And perhaps most importantly, he knows what he's doing!! Now, most all of my extended family takes their vehicles to Marty...even the very perticular ones. My step-son said "I won't trust my car to anyone except myself and Marty". I'm reluctant to post this because I don't want Marty to get so successful that he doesn't have time to work on our cars. But he's so exceptional, he deserves the recognition.

The BEST and most HONEST mechanic I've had the pleasure of meeting. Marty doesn't rip you off like most of the more shady, commercial garages do. The man is a hard working mechanic who won't lie to you to make a buck. If your in a jam, he will do what he can to help you out. My check engine light came on while driving on I-83,so I pulled off and stopped at several mechanics, none of whom would even give me the time of day. I called Marty, and he was kind enough to let me bring it by. He scanned it, made some recommendations, and was very helpful. Wouldn't let me pay him for his time. Nice guy, very helpful. If I lived in this area, I would definitely go there again for regular service, etc. Thanks, Marty!

Great auto service! Marty made my Subaru top priority and fixed up the clutch with all new parts and fluids in a day. The other places only wanted to replace the clutch. No other parts or fluids and said it would take a few days to fix. They took care of it all for roughly the same cost and in one day.

Marty is an honest, trustworthy and knowledgeable mechanic. Being new to the area, and the victim of a faulty engine, Marty was one of the few that would take on the job, and at a fair rate. He replaced the engine in my 2012 Nissan Xterra, and I have had zero problems since. Running great. He's the man for all my future needs.

I’ve never used a garage before, so when I started looking for a person to work on my Honda Civic, Marty popped up on my list along with a few others. After sending out a few emails trying to feel them out, I eventually decided to choose Marty—and thank god I did. Marty is probably the most honest, kind, knowledgeable, fair, and hardworking mechanic in the York Area. Marty is always very prompt and has never given me the run around. I’ve taken my Honda back for work multiple times, from getting a tire replaced to fixing holes in my exhaust. Marty will do the work with excellence, and you will know the work was done right. Hopefully he doesn’t retire for MANY MANY long years, because their will NEVER be another mechanic like him around. Marty, you deserve more than five stars!!

I've been taking my car to Marty's for over 10 years and have always received nothing but the best service. Marty is the only person I trust with working on my car. I don't live in the area anymore but I still strongly prefer the drive to York than taking my car anywhere else.
