I came to get my state inspection done, not realizing that my registration had expired the month prior. The gentleman waited for me to coordinate with my wife to get it updated and didn't make me lose my place in line while. I've had a few oil changes here and the services have been great, but this customer service takes it over the top for me. Phenomenal job to everyone, my wife & I will be happy to come to you all for all of our services.

Today, I visited this Valvoline oil change (synthetic blend mix oil around 75$) location, and Brady took excellent care of me and my car. He performed an oil change, repaired the right brake light (just one of them 16.99$), and fixed the right front turn signal light (also just one 16.99$).He was fast, patient, and professional even though I had a hard time understanding him at times due to a language barrier. I truly appreciate his kindness and the quality of his service. Thank you Brady and to Valvoline team ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Waited in line patiently. When it was my turn they didn't have the oil I use or my fuel filter. I went to the auto parts store to get what i needed, but when I returned they said i had to pay full price as if it was their parts they were using. Talked to the manager and was told he couldn't change the price. Manager was rude and condescending.

Fast, expert service experienced multiple times at this shop. I do recommend those with limited experience with simple repairs, to have this shop do their typical mini vehicle inspection, when they perform any oil change. They check tires and their pressure, lights and signals, battery strength, air conditioner, even wipers front and back.

The oil change did not take that long but the problem came when I was charged for the oil change and then they had "computer issues". The charge went through but they stated that it didn't and I still owed the full amount and that the charge would be reversed in a few business days. The computer again has "issues" and now it's going past an hour sitting there. Clyde and Elliott began screaming and cursing at each other over the issues while myself and another customer just looked at each other waiting for a fight to break out. They charged my card again and said I still owed $21 because Clyde made another error. This turned out to be over a $200 oil change and now I have to dispute the initial charge with my bank. Elliott whom I assume is the manager refused to come out and help his employee that clearly had no idea how to work a computer. This is the first time Ive had someone change my oil and I did it because of my busy schedule. I will never make this mistake again.

I got a simple oil change at this location. When I return home I noticed my oil was leaking from my car. They stated they fixed the issue but sure didn't. There is still a consistent leak from my car and I will not return. I paid way too much to have a issue like this.

I went in for oil change today. Today is 7:18/2025 around 10:30 am and I believe his name was Elliot was the manager and he was very professional. He had a customer in there screaming and yelling, calling him all kinds of horrible names. He handled them very professionally, even came over and apologized to me for the customers appalling behavior. I highly recommend this place. They are fast, great prices and I always feel safe and I'm a female . 10/10 highly recommended!!!

Excellent! I've been to several Valvoline locations throughout the country during my travels for work. I have been thoroughly impressed by the Valvoline process of staying in your vehicle while the work is done! The York Pennsylvania location is the best location yet that I've been to! The location was extremely easy to find and access. The wait time in line was very short! The guys were very concentrated on getting you in and out as quickly as possible! Service—Excellent! Extremely polite, informative, and professional. I was very impressed when the service technician removed my air filter and got out a box with a new air filter. He approached me and said your original air filter is good, so we are just going to put it back in! He didn't try pushing the sale of the new one on me! I was so impressed that I said go ahead and install the new one! Honesty—Excellent! Great job, guys, and I definitely look forward to doing business with you again! Highly recommend!

If you need your oil changed I highly recommend going here, they check over your car's lights, front and rear, they top off fluids,check air in your tires, they will show you your oil and its proper color,check your air filter. They explain everything as they go, they are quick, and tidy and treat your car like their own. I was so impressed with the oil change and transmission fluid change with my Ford Flex , I returned the following week with my other car, my Buick Encore. Clyde, and his crew are absolutely amazing, I felt more knowledgeable about my cars after I left, because of them. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. You dont need an appointment and you stay in your car, very convenient. Check online for $20 off, and less than 15 minutes, you are ready to go. Coupon for your oil change. I'll be back. Thanks team.

On October 1st at approximately 8:45 AM, I began my day by taking my son to school. Just three minutes down the road, my vehicle completely shut off while driving, leaving me stranded in a very unsafe situation. Two strangers had to help me push my vehicle into an alleyway. I was barely able to restart it long enough to get back home, but the car continued to shut off multiple times while in motion. Concerned for my safety and my son’s, I took the car to AutoZone, where they tested the battery. The results showed that my battery was still good, but I replaced it anyway to eliminate the possibility. Even after installing a new battery, the same dangerous issue persisted — the car would randomly cut off while I was driving. At this point, I took my vehicle to NTB, who had serviced my car before. They informed me that the battery was fine and that a diagnostic test was needed, at a cost of $158 per hour. Worried about my car’s safety, I agreed. After diagnostic testing, the NTB technicians discovered that my vehicle had severe oil leakage. My car’s system has a fail-safe feature that causes it to shut off when the oil is critically low. At the time, my vehicle only had 1.5 quarts of oil left, when it requires at least 5. This explained the repeated stalling and cutting off. The NTB mechanic explained that the oil leak was the result of Valvoline improperly performing my last oil change in August. He stated that if I had continued driving for even another week, my entire engine would likely have blown, resulting in catastrophic and extremely costly damage. For transparency, I requested a detailed invoice and write-up, which clearly documented their findings. After paying $322.46 for diagnostics and service at NTB, I immediately went to Valvoline to address the issue. I first spoke with Ashlee, the manager, who admitted that Valvoline had not done the oil change correctly and confirmed that, had my engine blown, they would have been responsible. Despite this, she said she would only reimburse the $98 I had paid for the original oil change, refusing to cover the $322.46 I had just spent to diagnose and remedy the problem caused by Valvoline’s negligence. I then asked to speak to the store manager (name not provided to me). His behavior was unprofessional, condescending, and outright rude. Instead of acknowledging the seriousness of the situation, he blamed me for not noticing the oil leak sooner, despite the fact that I only learned of it after NTB’s inspection. He also made an inappropriate remark that refunding me wouldn’t matter because “he couldn’t get the oil or filter back.” This statement was both unhelpful and dismissive. The bottom line is this: • Valvoline’s negligence directly caused a severe oil leak. • My car was left in a dangerous and unsafe condition, shutting off while driving with my child in the car. • I had to spend $322.46 out of pocket to fix their mistake, in addition to the time, stress, and risk involved. • Valvoline acknowledged their fault but refused to make me whole, offering only a $98 refund for the original oil change. Had my engine blown, Valvoline confirmed they would have been responsible. That acknowledgement alone proves liability. Yet they refused to reimburse the actual damages I incurred as a direct result of their poor workmanship. This experience has been both distressing and infuriating, and I cannot recommend this location to anyone. Customers trust Valvoline to maintain their vehicles properly. In my case, they not only failed at the most basic level, but their management also treated me with disrespect and zero accountability when I raised legitimate concerns backed by diagnostic proof. Final Verdict: Valvoline’s improper service endangered me and my child, cost me over $322 in repairs, and resulted in some of the worst customer service I have ever experienced. If you value your safety and your vehicle, I strongly urge you to take your business elsewhere.

Called in and was quoted $123.00 with tax. They asked the year, and the engine size, and accurately let me know it took +1.8 quarts. I got here and the bill was $133.00 . I let them know about the call ahead quote. They acted like they didnt hear me. Then finally they said its because the filter is in a can and that's extra. I find it hard to believe they knew exactly how much extra oil but didn't know about the canister thing. I have been a loyal east york Jiffy Lube customer, but with the cupon, it was $7 cheaper here.Not with the extra $10... I will go to JiffybLube next time. When you call Valvolline, it goes somewhere else. When you call JiffynLube, it goes to their desk. Live and learn I guess. They seem to do a nice job, so II will leave it at 2 stars. I hope the $10 was worth it. We have 5 cars at my house. All going back to JL.
