Good folks. Fair prices. We've used them for years. Update: Just took my mini-van in. It's still a great place and they are more than fair with their pricing....Also, bonus! They have a wood stove in the waiting room and a big friendly dog there that will let you pet him as long as you want. .....(Well, being able to pet a puppy is a bonus in my eyes anyway :)

The professionals at Mason Street Garage are excellent at what they do…from diagnosing the problem and researching a solution (even when there doesn’t appear to be one) to solving the issue and providing answers that get you back on the road! Front staff are very professional, and knowledgeable. They make sure you stay informed on the status of your vehicle, and pricing is extremely fair. The mechanic that worked on my vehicle was amazingly efficient. He must also be a master of muffler repairs because my car sounds….actually my car doesn’t make any sounds anymore! No more race car noises!! Highly recommend Mason Street!!

I have been using Mason Street Garage for at least 10 years! The people are outstanding. There are hundreds of people that repair cars in the greater Grand Rapids area and they probably all do a wonderful job. The key element that sets Mason Street apart is the level of integrity that the mechanics and service people share. I have terrific trust in them. And trust is worth everything to me.

My experience at Mason St. Garage has been so good that I had to take some time to leave my first ever review. Personally, I have always had a healthy amount of distrust of mechanics, but they have blown these doubts out of the water. I've had to get things on my car fixed a few times over the past year, and each time I took my car here, they fixed things with fantastic service. Reception is always so nice, and the mechanics clearly put their customers first. They don't overcharge, and they never try to convince you to "fix" anything that doesn't need fixing (even to the point where they have recommended steps to try to fix things myself free of charge). They have definitely won my heart, and I will shout their praises (alongside everyone else that they have served) until I die.

Jess and everyone else at Mason St Garage are amazing! They helped diagnose, and repair an internal water pump that failed on our ford explorer. They kept us up to date on the repairs and didn't cheap out on getting cheap parts. Will definitely be taking all my vehicles to Mason St Garage for repairs in the future. I realized today as drove past Mason Street Garage that it has been over two years since they replaced the engine in my 2013 Equinox. They warrantied their work, but I haven't needed to use it, as my car hasn't had a single engine related issue since their excellent service work. Highly recommend!

I cannot say enough great things about this shop. Hard to find good, affordable, and honest mechanics today and this place is all three and then some. They took great care of my elderly aunt before she stopped driving, so I figured (being new to the area) I’d take my car here when it needed some extensive work done. I’ve had a surprisingly hard time finding shops that know their way around Subaru’s in Michigan but they properly diagnosed everything I needed much better than my guess work and other shops/dealers. I drove over an hour from my house to have them fix up my car and am so happy I did. Highly recommend 👍

Brought my sons car in for brake service due to a wear sensor indicator light on the dash. We bought the car used and had no idea about the condition of the brakes. Mason Street Garage checked into it and found a damaged brake sensor wire. Both front and back brakes were fine. Cheap to fix and out the door quickly. Makes me wonder how many other shops would have been as honest and straightforward. These guys ROCK !! Brought my other sons car in for a simple headlight replacement. another smooth transaction.
