Let me just say Joe is thee Best! I called him at 5:45pm in the evening, because my car kept running hot. I thought he would say I have to bring it the next day, but no he said he can pick it up now. I thought I had to pay upfront for towing, but he said no, let me look at it first & see what's wrong. He picked up my truck after hours & took it to his location & said, "I will have it fixed by the morning." Usually when someone say that, it ends up being 3 days or more, but not Joe! He called me first thing in the morning, told me the problem, & gave me "thee" best deal to repair it. I had my 2015 Chevy Traverse back less than 24hrs! So please if you want Great Service by a Great Auto Shop/ Person, go see Joe! Great guy & very professional. Definitely will be my only mechanic if I ever need one again🙏🏾

I'D LIKE TO RESPOND TO JOE'S RESPONSE TO MY INITIAL REVIEW. THIS IS WHY YOU CAN'T TRUST HIM. THERE IS A LOT THAT HE IS NOT TELLING YOU. 1. HE IS RIGHT ABOUT MY REPAIR WAS PROCESSED THROUGH MY WARRANTY COMPANY AND THAT I DID NOT PAY FOR THE REPAIR. WHAT HE DID NOT TELL YOU IS THAT I WAS THE ONE WHO BOUGHT AND PAID FOR THE CAR THAT CAME WITH A WARRANTY. 2. HE WAS RIGHT ABOUT THE WARRANTY COMPANY WOULD ONLY APPROVE AFTERMARKET PARTS. THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH THAT. THAT'S ALL NON-OEM REPAIR SHOPS DO. THE PROBLEM IS HE INSTALLED DEFECTIVE AFTERMARKET PARTS AND HE WOULD NOT DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT. 3. WHEN I FINALLY REALIZED HE IS TOO INCOMPETENT TO CORRECT HIS MISTAKES ISSUE, I TOOK THE VEHICLE SOMEWHERE ELSE. JUST SO I COULD RECOVER SOME OF MY EXPENSES I DEMANDED FOR A REFUND AND HE SUGGESTED I CONTACT THE WARRANTY COMPANY. SO, I DID AND QUICKLY REALIZED WHY HE WANTED ME TO DO THAT. IT IS BECUASE THE WARRANTY COMPANY HAS NOTHING IN PLACE TO ACCEPT A REFUND FROM JOE. I HAVE TO SAY YOU ARE SMART IN THAT AREA JOE. I ENDED UP FILING A COMPLAINT SO HE COULD BE REMOVED FROM THEIR VENDOR LIST. I ALSO FILED A COMPLAINT WITH THE MICHIGAN ATTORNEY GENERAL"S OFFICE AND BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU TO PROTECT THE PUBLIC. MY POINT IS JOE GOT PAID $600 TO INDUCE THIS ISSUE ON MY VEHICLE. IF HE IS A MAN WITH GOOD MORAL HE COULD HAVE JUST ISSUED ME A REFUND. HE WOULD NOT AND HE IS COMFORTABLE ABOUT THAT. NO CONSCIENCE! 4. AND WHAT ABOUT THE 12 YEAR/12K MILE PARTS AND LABOR WARRANTY THAT YOU SAID COMES WITH THE ALL THE WORK THAT YOU DO? DO YOU WANT TO SAY ANYTHING ABOUT THAT SCAM ARTIST JOE? WHAT HAPPENED TO THAT? OH I KNOW, NOTHING! 5. IN ALL REALITY MY VEHICLE DID NOT NEED REAR SHOCK. HE JUST NEEDED TO MAKE MONEY OFF MY WARRANTY COMPANY. If you do not know anything about car maintenance and you would just rely on what a mechanic tells you, please do not go to this place. They are very dishonest. You would absolutely regret it. I got scammed here very badly. Joe said my car needed rear shocks and mounts. $600 worth of parts and labor later he introduced this annoying rear suspension noise that he was not unable to fix after 2 more shop visits. I had to spend more money to get it fixed somewhere else. I did not want to go back there because the last time I went they busted my ABS harness retainer without saying anything. I do not trust them to work on my car anymore. I know why he could not fix his mess. It is because he does not believe that he induced the problem and that he installed defective parts. Also he would not listen to the customer. Instead he would start pointing to other parts of the car so he could charge you more. He thinks he knows what he is doing. Do not let your first impression of Joe deceive you. It is the complete opposite of that is what you would get. The 4.9 rating is rigged!

Great service and prices, actually seems like he doesn’t want to sell you a bunch of unnecessary repairs or parts that you don’t need. Finding somebody that’s not going to take advantage is very hard these days. Joe is one of the most down to earth people I’ve ever interacted with not just in automotive repair but in general. Came in on Saturday and everything was done the same day. Even worked with me on a partial payment without having to do a bunch of credit or applying for financing.

Don’t believe the reviews… they begged me to leave a review after they finished the car and would not even let me drive away. They kept asking for a review. Thank God I waited, because they did a control arm on my nephew’s car and LEFT THE BOLT LOOSE!!!!! What a shame. Instead of begging me for a review, how about you just do your job correctly, and I’ll leave a review when I’m ready. Let customers test-drive the car first. At first, I was going to take them to court, but I decided against it after another mechanic told me that everyone makes mistakes. Shame on you guys—this could have caused a serious accident, and people could have died because of your negligence. If you are looking for a good shop, go to Platinum Automotive on 9 Mile and Groesbeck. The owner’s name is Marty, and he will take good care of you and won’t let this nonsense happen. Or you can try Friendly Auto Repair on 9 Mile and Van Dyke—they are decent as well.

It says electrical specialist on the sign. i’m delivering for DoorDash right now and I’m taking a delivery by this neighborhood. I don’t wanna get pulled over by the police anymore for my left headlight not being very bright. I went to some guy on 8 mile. He said he was supposedly some electrical specialist and a few days later my light stopped working. I paid him $100 bucks and he basically did nothing. He didn’t provide me a receipt or a warranty Maybe I’ll come by here and see if he can look at it. I know of an electrical specialist out in Saline, Michigan, but he said with me having to tear apart the wiring to figure out where the resistance is in your left headlight I’m gonna tell you straight up. It’s probably gonna be anywhere from $300 to $500 because I’m gonna have to remove the bumper and chase that wire to find out where it’s broke or short circuit or whatever I got it rigged up right now but I’d like to get it fixed correctly. Maybe I’ll call here in a few days when I get some money and see if this guy can fix it. I just want my vehicle to be safe while I’m delivering food on these dark streets

I finally found it Joe lol. I left a review on yelp I think but oh well Im here now leaving one on google. Joe is the best!!! Dont walk RUN to him if anything is going on with your car. I was in need of a battery replacement and reservoir tank. Joe took his time listening to me and went instantly to check it out. He took his time and is a professional. He cares about getting his customers on the road and is very knowledgeable. He saved me from going all the way to 14 mile when he does everything and is very honest. He has gained a forever loyal customer. and I recommend anyone to come here. His staff is very nice and knowledgeable as well and work very hard. If I can give Joe 10000 stars I would.
