We are absolutely thrilled with the professional service team at Mastertech. For months we have gone from one mechanic to the next to identify the ignition problem we were experiencing with our 2004 Saturn Ion. The Mastertech team was able to properly troubleshoot the problem, and research the past Saturn recalls to find the correct part. We love our little Saturn and after more than 270+ miles, Bob and the Mastetech team saved us from having to buy a new commuter car. We highly recommend Mastetech!

I have a 2000 Ford E350 4x4 with a 2010 F350 front axle & transfer case. There is also 2008 E350 steering components. I am the 4th owner. All the work was done before me.Master Tech took approximately 4 days to do the alignment in which they found a bad tie rod and a steering pittman arm. They had to figure out what year the parts were from but after a few days yesterday's the van drove like a dream. I highly recommend this place.

Avoid at all cost! AAA towed me here, and when I go there they told me they would be able to look at it Thursday. ( this was Wednesday). He was incapable of finding the problem with the car, even with the "hours" he claimed to work on it. If he couldn't find a problem after hours, maybe he should find a different profession. My boyfriend went to pick up the car, ( since ours his) not at closing, a half hour before, and he refused to release the car due to California laws that don't exist. I have dropped off at car at a dealer and had someone else pick it up for me before many times. He called me and said that he was not giving up the car under any circumstances since he was already running diagnostics. I had to come Friday to pick it up, where of course he was rude, since he knew he wouldn't get more money out of us. Taking it to another mechanic that can actually do the work. His side is in the picture.

I would highly recommend Mastertech. I've brought my three vehicles into them in the last month and they've done a great job from fixing my son's emergency break on his 2000 F150, replacing shocks on my 2020 Suburban and an alignment on my husband's 2021 F250. I took my car into Mastertech in Oceanside by a referral. The phone call conversation started with Rick, one of the owners. He was very informative, kind, and put me at ease. When I brought my car in, I was greeted by Bob, the other owner. He listened to all my questions, answered them, and also put me at ease. They kept me updated as my car was worked on and as they uncovered more issues. They also addressed a problem that wasn’t even in the scope of my engine problem and fixed that before it became a huge problem down the road. I am so thankful. I will recommend Mastertech to all my friends and neighbors. It’s great to have a honest, caring, and moral mechanic that truly cares for the better of their customer’s well being. Mastertech Inc, team are very knowledgeable and I recommend them. I took my truck in because the engine light was on. And few days before, I had taken the truck to another mechanic and they told me that the turbo needed to get replace. I didn't believe the turbo had gone bad. After talking to Bob on the phone, he didn't believe that the turbo would be bad either. So I took it in and they found the problem and saved me thousands. Very grateful. Prices are reasonable. We had such a great experience with Mastertech! My check engine light came on, and my car started sputtering when I tried to start it after getting gas. I called Mastertech, and Jayson immediately told me to come by so he could run the codes and get an idea of what was going on. When I arrived, he came right out to take a look and quickly found that vapor was leaking into the fuel line. He explained that it should be an easy fix and asked me to bring the car back first thing Monday morning since it was near closing time on Friday. I dropped it off Monday, and by the end of the day, he had replaced the fuel line and my car is running great! Not only did he do excellent work, but he also charged a very fair price. The team at Mastertech is reliable, transparent, and trustworthy. We’ll definitely be going back for any future auto repair needs!

I cannot recommend this shop enough. Both my husband and I now bring our cars to Mastertech and won’t be looking back. They are incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, and transparent. I originally came in for a VW-specific repair but also asked them to look at a couple of items my dealership had deemed “necessary,” including a complete brake job based on specific measurements. Not only did the team complete the needed repair quickly (even with having to order a part), but they also ran a thorough diagnostic, took precise measurements, performed in-depth inspections, and test drove the vehicle. They clearly outlined what actually needed attention and, most importantly, identified that a major repair the dealership was pushing was absolutely not necessary at this time. That alone saved me a significant amount of money. They were honest, detailed, never pushed unnecessary services, and consistently put their customers first. They also handled work specific to my VW that not every shop is equipped to do. The owner and his team carry a level of expertise and knowledge that you rarely come across. On top of that, they completed everything quickly despite the amount of work I was having done. It’s rare to find an auto shop that makes you feel taken care of rather than taken advantage of. We will definitely continue to come back and encourage you to as well!
