I resent replaced my instrument cluster in my car, did a simple swop all I needed was to get the cluster reprogrammed so it can comunicate with the ECU and get the car running again.I called this people and told them of my predicament, to witch the secretary after talking to Phil the mechanic said was only going to cost $125. To bring it in the morning and was going to work on it and have it ready that same day,.after doing so I called does people 2 hours before closing asking about my car,.they said they where busy and where not able to work on it.day two called again same answer 3day finally Phil got to it and had it for two more day after that,saying my car needed a battery, that the old one wasn't holding charge that they could sale me one for over $100. but when i told secretary I would bring one. when I got to their shop,sudden my Current battery got working again,. weird or husle hmm!.next day I get a call saying,he has to rewire my car to get the ECU and instrument cluster talking to each other that simple$125. Reprogramming was going to be $500.i told him.it was a simple swop no wires where cut or mess with during the swop why would he have to rewire anything.i should not have agreed to the price and picked up my car,but lesson learned all I worn you people if you guys don't Want to get ripped off don't take your car to this people, yea Phil is nice but will rip you off with a smile in his face.

Not recommended, they lied, I explained on phone exactly what was needed, they said they had the specialized equipment. Guess what they didn't & threatened to call police over payment! All he did was diagnose, my mechanic already did that, this required "special equipment" I explained that several times. Customers beware!

Phillip has done several jobs for me both on my Bounder motor home with a Ford chassis and my Chevy Silverado 2500 HD Diesel. All of his work was excellent. As a person who used to be an auto mechanic and a high school auto shop teacher, I highly recommend him and Mastertech. If you want the job done right, Phillip is your man.

Totally unprofessional.. They diagnosed my car and said that it would cost about $250 to repair it. I paid and took my car to one location and found that their repair didn't fix anything about my overheating problem. When I took it back, Philip said that it hada manifold leak that would cost another $900. I asked him why didn't he find that on his diagnostic report, and he didn't know what to say. I tried talking with him and asking him more details, but he kept interrupting me, told me that he wasn't going to discuss this anymore because he had no time, and then he hung up on me. He's a shrewd business man. Don't waste your time with them because they don't want to waste their time with you.

Phil does an excellent job. He knows what he's doing and has been where he's at for along time. The review given on the front desk doesn't say anything about the mechanic maybe the woman was having a bad day. True she shouldn't take it out on future costumers.. Rude or not. As far as the yard dog. Maybe the dog ate a wrench. I have been there 2 times and still will go back with out a problem.

I have read the negative reviews and disagree totally. Phil is nice man and great mechanic. He takes the time to diagnose your problem and is up front with all information you need to make a decision on repairing your vehicle. After the repair,he explains what he did and shows you all the replaced parts. I don't know any mechanics that do that. Shondra is very nice and professional. This shop was a great find for me and I totally trust him with my vehicles.

I highly recommend Mastertech. Phil and his team of technicians took good care of my old Nissan Armada and resolved all the electrical problems in a very timely manner (my truck had a short circuit and ton of electrical issues ). I took my truck in to get my tow mirrors and headlights to work. $165 an hr and mandatory 2hr is pretty steep but I thought it would be a quick few solders and done. Unfortunately I got scammed out of 330 and no progress done. Then quoted me 2800 to get it done. The next day I took it to Joe's Garage in Clovis and within 30min they told me what was REALLY wrong with it and got it done with in an hour and a half. DO NOT GO TO MASTERTECH WORST TYPE OF PEOPLE IN THE BUSINESS. THESE ARE THE PEOPLE THAT GIVE MECHANICS A BAD NAME.

A year ago I comment about this place that they had a rude receptionist. She no longer works there thank goodness. Recently I took both of my cars in these past couple months they have a new receptionist. They offered picking me up at my home or dropping off my vehicle after it's done. I have a busy life, busy schedule. They made everything stress free for me. The staff and the owner was very professional and I would like to personally thank Daniel for working on my cars. I brought my car into this shop a couple of weeks ago. I was told by the last shop that my car had severe Body Control Module issues that were too extensive to repair. That's how I came to meet Mr. Phillip G..(Owner). Who performed a diagnostic on my car and told me exactly what the issues were. After just a few days, I received a phone call letting me know that my Chevy was ready for pickup. I could not believe it! He told me that my car was fixed... The camera, sunroof, blinkers, display, etc. we're all working. This man is a true genius with cars. Phillip is a true Master. He took great effort, and tedious time to repair this car. HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND anyone that has any electrical issues with their vehicles. I needed to reflash my vin and I took it to ford dealership. They fried my computer and I decided to take it to mastertech. The front lady is a sweetheart who will remember their customers by their names. He recommended me to service certain things to improve my car under its condition UNDER my approval which is great. Phillip (the main mechanic) quoted me with everything he did. When I went to go pick up my car they did a curtious wash. It's the little things that this business does that'll make me go back to them if I need a repair. Highly recommend 5 star rating

So far one of the best shops in Fresno!! (Phillip) the owner helped me get my car back to running normal. I’ve Been having electrical draining problems on my 2011 bmw x5 for a while something the guys at bmw couldn’t figure out. after wasting so much time and $ with the guys at bmw I finally decided to take it to Mastertech and glad I did. He has all the tools and technology to pin point exactly what’s the problem and will let you know about other problems previous mechanics wouldn’t tell you. Very smart and professional. Carlos and his team were so great throughout the entire process of getting my door locks repaired and functioning again. He communicated and submitted authorization with my extended warranty to ensure my repairs would be covered. Great communication and quality work. Highly recommend this shop.
