★☆☆☆☆ I'm sure this is a great place to get work done and I am struggling to tell you my experience but I value honest workers who represent their company well. I went just to get the free quick air in all my tires and Dylan came out to fill my tires. He filled the first two tires on the passenger side and came to my window to say that I am riding dangerously metal to metal on my brakes and rotors. I was stunned and I told him to give me a quote. He gave me a quote of over $1300 without tax and he said if I do it right now he will drop the price to $1000 even with tax included. I told him that I need to talk to my husband so just print out the quote and put your name on it. He said not to go to other places and he would get it done today for $950 and I told him I have to get quotes and I will be back if his price is the best. Well what happened next shocked me. First off he had me so scared that my brakes were in such terrible shape and will go out any minute that I was very afraid to drive. My husband was suspicious the minute I called him and I told him about Dylan's words and behavior and how he stressed not to go anywhere else not even the other Mavis tires. Plus my brakes do not squeak or make any sound for it to be metal on metal but I went to several different shops and auto part stores immediately. I had all the auto parts stores give me prices on brakes for all 4 tires because Dylan was adamant about the two back rears being way beyond time to change and I need to go ahead and change all 4 right away he told me. By the time I got to the 2nd auto parts store something told me just to ask them to come look at my brakes and that's when everything started to come to the realization that Dylan was trying to quickly steal a $1000 job over on an unsuspecting woman during Christmas time. One after another said that my brakes were fine and I asked the auto parts attendant to recommend a shop and the guy at Auto Zone recommended Los Cunados Tires, 2608 McFarland Blvd, Northport, AL they were almost directly across the street from Auto Zone in between the hotel and gas station. He came out and took off a tire and showed me that my rear brakes were fine. He told me whenever I do get ready to get them done they only charge $150 to replace all 4 brake pads and rotors. I was blown away and relieved and I was so grateful to finally run into an honest auto shop again. So with all that said it would be cheaper to buy all the parts at Auto Zone and take it across the street to have them installed by honest mechanics. I would never look at another Mavis again and I will definitely not recommend getting work done there unless you have gotten quotes first! Dylan's name is on the quote and you can see where he kept changing the price.
