***EDIT Spoke with Regional Mgr. Very nice. Addressed the issue and great customer service. I’m changing from 1 star to 4 thanks to Mr. Grant. We have worked in the vehicle repair industry for years. We understand things happen. We purchased 2 new front tires Saturday 8/2 drove about 4 miles home & didn’t drive my car again til I left for work this morning 8/4. Left front tire came off the rim as I pulled out my drive. Call the shop, told the man that answered what happened & he said “hold on” (only thing he said) transferred me straight to roadside assistance which wanted $95 to come out for a flat. We took the tire off, in the pouring rain, took it back to Mavis, manager, same person I talked to on phone, said he had not talked to me, never apologized for the inconvenience, did not leak check the new bead. We are very disappointed with our first experience in our new, neighborhood Mavis.

Mavis Tire & Brakes is my go-to for car issues, and this visit was no exception. I recently came in with a nail in my tire, and Danyell helped me out. She was so friendly and professional and made the process quick and easy. She got my tire repaired in no time and even explained what she was doing. Must be under new management!!! A few months ago in February 2025 and again in April 2025 I did not have a very good experience with this location. I returned to this location this morning, 07.25.2025, to inquire about why my car was still shaking when braking after having new brake pads and new rotors done. The young man at the counter was very professional, knowledgeable and efficient. I was not happy about coming back to this location for any additional service but once I arrived and saw a different crew I was hopeful. I regret not getting the young man's name because he really changed my perspective of this Mavis location. He took the time to take me to my car and show me what needed to be repaired. I did not give 5 stars because I went in to have 4 tires installed (this was the only local location that had 4 in stock) and the assistant manager told me I needed brake pads. I had the front brake pads replaced at this location February 2025 and when I went in April 2025 to change the rotors they put the same old brake pads on the new rotors. The assistant manager at the time should have told me that the rotors needed to be changed with the brakes and I would have waited to have both done in April. But back to the good...I love that Mavis saw there were changes needed at this location and took the time to make those changes. I live about 45 minutes from this location and pass 3 other Mavis locations to get here. As long as this fresh, professional, young crew is in charge I will gladly make the drive for my tire and brake needs.

I had a very disappointing experience at this brand-new tire shop, which has been open for less than a year. As a local, I was hopeful for a good experience, but unfortunately, that wasn't the case. I brought my truck in for an alignment, and when I picked it up, it was obvious the alignment was still off. The manager's attitude was dismissive, and when I mentioned possibly getting new tires, they didn't seem interested in discussing the details. As soon as I drove away, my truck started shaking violently, forcing me to pull off the interstate and ultimately take it to another tire shop. This was not only inconvenient but also unsafe. I would not recommend this shop.

Come see Peyton, cody, and Brandon. They are extremely professional and knowledgeable. This is an update from my first review. My car was experiencing a rattling noise, and i was so happy that I went on the day that their regional manager Tracy was there. After my car was improperly diagnosed he came in with his expertise and correctly diagnosed my car. He went above and beyond and helped me save money. This place is my shop! Everyone is friendly and they really value honesty and integrity

Multiple times they don’t do the tire rotation but say they do Multiple times something happens with the oil change that makes them question “whoever done your oil change last broke this or did this incorrectly” and it’s always been them. My vehicles won’t be going back to this big scam

I had a slow leak in my rear tire, so I stopped by Mavis and Jerry came to my vehicle to ask me if there was anything he could assist me with , I then told him my issue he took care of my tire issue and he began to speak on the integrity of the company also how well they take care of their customer's. I came back to Mavis the next day and spoke to Monique and her customer service with me was amazing I then bought a full set of tires with them because of the great personalities they both had. Thank you for a great Mavis experience!

I usually love Mavis Tires & Brakes, but this location just wasn’t it. The old manager was amazing, and I was really sad to see he wasn’t there anymore. When I walked in, it felt cold and unwelcoming. There was no “Hey, how are you?” or “What can we do for you today?” Just a “whatcha need” with a head nod. I’m a customer, not your buddy. I think his name was Brandon. I believe in doing business with people who foster a positive attitude, and this visit just did not feel that way. They were not busy, so I was not interrupting anything, but I still felt unwelcome. I decided to leave. I went to the Thomaston Rd location instead, and Brett took such great care of me and my car. He made me feel like he genuinely cared. I never felt like he was upselling, just making sure I was safe on the road. That kind of service makes all the difference.
