I love this shop. As a woman, it is hard to find a mechanic that will not try and manipulate us. It is hard to find a honest mechanic that will not try and screw us out of our money and still not get the job done. Mckeel's Auto has been a life saver for my family. My husband and I work very hard for our money. My dad is a mechanic. He has taught me what to look for in one. But my dad is older now and unable to work. So it has been hard finding someone with the qualities that my dad has. Honest, knowledgeable, time sensitive, and talented at what they do. Tim and Scott at Mckeel's Auto are honest mechanics. They are also very good mechanics. Very knowledgeable about cars and parts. These guys are awesome. Ladies if you are looking for a great, honest, respectable, polite, time efficient, as well as talented mechanics, who won't screw you over, but will actually fix the problem with your car, Mckeel's is the place to go. Guys, my husband was very skeptical at first, but was quickly won over by how good these guys are....lol I could go on and on You just need to go by there and see for yourself.

I have known Joe Zellner at Zellner's Alignment for many years and he highly recommended McKeels Auto Service. I need mechanical work done to my car. I was going out of town for the weekend and planned to drop my car off. I would come back Monday to pay for the work and get my car back. However their hours on Google maps say they open at 9am, and I arrived at 9:01am Thursday with the doors still locked. I said maybe they are just unlocking things, so I waited. By 9:20am I had called them 4 times while standing in the parking lot, and they weren't answering or opening. There was 1 other car there which I assume was a employee as nobody was in it, but they wouldn't even answer the phone to tell me if the mechanic was running late or something.

My Fiat 500 had a flat and brought it in to see if they could plug it. They couldn't, so I had to get a new tire which they unfortunately didn't have in stock. I'm ignorant about cars and didn't know how to get my spare out from under the car, but they showed me how to do it, swapped it on for me, and checked the pressure to make sure it would get me around; all for 10$. Very professional and at a great location. Highly recommend.
