Bring Kevin back. This new guy Sergio is a straight thief in plain cloths. Came in today to get my car looked at because of excessive shaking on drives side at hwy speed was told that I needed a whole new lower control arm and new wheel housing unit done all totaling $800-900 but after going to mechanic around the corner from my hse they fixed the problem and said all that was wrong was that the control arm was juss loose and needed tightening and threw in a alignment for $100. Nuff said. It’s a Damb shame too I been coming there 3yrs up until today ,serviced 4 different family vehicles ,and recommended them countless times but after today’s eye opening experience I can comfortably say that my business relationship with this once affordable and very honest shop

TERRIBLE. My friends and family have given this place more than enough chances over the past 15 years and again and again they just continue to have LOUSY service and the worst communication. Whenever you call to check on your vehicle (because they won’t call YOU) it’s always “Oh yeah it’s ready now” or “we were just about to call you!”. Please. You literally made things worse and replaced a mechanism for the brakes that was FAULTY. AFTER you said it was good to go. How are you still in business?

Being a single woman I was pretty skeptical of repair shops, I've been taken advantage of by many unscrupulous business. I was new to Riverside and saw McNair's auto repair and I am so grateful. I took the cham e with them.The cost was reasonable and the staff outstanding. I refer everyone who complains about needing a repair to McNair's. Tim at McNair's needs to take classes in customer service to start. This business has no flexibility when it comes to offering it's customers with options to getting your car serviced. No appointments at all and no guarantees even if you show up when they open. This a huge inconvenience for normal people who work normal hours. It's really sad that this business takes the customer out of customer service. I know a thing or two about customer service since that is my profession. I highly recommend that anyone with any common sense to stay far away from this business.

Honest, straightforward service from Kevin and the guys. "We advise, you decide" is their motto. That rings true every time! I have an older car that is starting to nickel and dime me. I had it towed on a Sunday far past my AAA miles just to get it to McNair's after breaking down on the freeway. I could've had it taken somewhere else cheaper, but it's all about trust. I've never felt pressure to get something fixed when they've noticed it (when other shops would try to exaggerate to get the upsale). I always ask if it's a safety issue and they are honest about whether something can or can't wait to be fixed. It's nice to know there are still good places out there. Kevin likes blueberry bagels in case you need an "in." 😁
