Meekhof is a large truck tire/service center but they've always been able to take care of my passenger tire needs. Got good prices on new tires, and they're price for mounting -remounting/balancing can't be beat. And not crowded. Give them a try.

Quoted $400 for an after hour call for a 235/80/16 trailer tire while stuck on side of highway. Was charged $596.00 showed up 1.5 hours late. Stuck on side of highway for 2.5 hrs. Call any other tire company in lansing before this establishment.

Called them because a previous shop installed tires and claimed to balance them. These guys got me in right away and took pictures for proof that the balance was never done right from the old shop. Checked around quite a bit. I had options within 5 miles but decided to look a little outside of my usual area. I found Meekoff Tires through the Michelin site. Even though it was 20 miles away on the other side of town I decided to send an email requesting a quote and I heard back within an hour. A couple more quick emails and the tires were ordered. Less than a week later ( the day after tires came in) I was in the clean quiet waiting area. Joe's prices were as good as any discount place and technicians were very professional. A great transaction with great place.

Even though I'm not a commercial customer, I've gone in twice for small things I needed help with and the gentlemen at Meekhof Tire have been professional, friendly and helpful. Today I asked them to help me re-seat a tire from my riding lawn mower, the service manager, Kyle, took it back and did it himself and refused to take any money for the service. That's good stuff right there, that's how you build a business. Keep up the good work!

Had Meekoff out to work on loader tires @ our shop. Fixed two, said he fixed 4 and left. Had to come back since this wasn’t the case, evidently, he then “fixed” one of other 2. Had to then come back again, “fixed” the 4th at least two more times. Got loader to site for my winter, had to then remove tire to take to Meekoff because it still wasn’t holding air. They recapped it or retreaded it, meanwhile whole time it has been leaking out of sidewall. Talked to guy on phone today. Says, “yeah should have put a new tire on in first place.” Nowhere along the lines did anybody say it needed a new tire. Think this could have Dave everybody time just being transparent. Save your money and time with these guys. Insane amount of terrible communication and customer service.

A shout-out to the Meekhof Tire team in Lansing, MI. Last Sunday night I discovered I had very low pressure in one of the tires on my Mercury. I had an appointment Monday morning in Grand Rapids and needed to drive that vehicle. I showed up at the shop at 7:05am, and they had me back on the road by 7:30am. I was right on time for my appointment. I have used the Meekhof Tire team for a number of years and have always been pleased with their work and their products. Not happy with the new guys! Just a week ago I changed 2 tires OTR @speedco and paid $113 for both tires on labor. Over here I changed 4 tires and it cost me $360.20!!!! This is not good. They are charging too much. Wont be back for service, unless buying some stuff and paying labor elsewhere!

I have nothing but great things to say about this shop. I’ve taken 3 vehicles and a camper here for tire repairs (that I thought would need replaced but they fixed for free), rotations, realignments, and tire and valve replacements; and every time I’m amazed at how professional and kind the entire staff is and at the excellent quality of service they provide. A tire shop that can’t put the right size tires on your vehicle. Now they wanna ignore my texts and calls because I’m asking them to pay for a rental vehicle for a day while they put the correct sized tires on. Why would i pay for a rental vehicle when they apparently don’t know how to read tire size. Why would $70 more come out of MY POCKET????
