Guys at Meineke the best! Great job on truck. Even gave me a ride home because it was going to be a few hours. They offered; I didn’t have to ask. Thanks, fellas.

I like the store and mechanics at 21st street but they could not get my Vette on their rack. I had to go to Wood lawn and the manager was a jerk. And they trashed my floor mat. With grease. And the car was greasy fingerprints and a scratch on my front fender. Not impressed. I asked for an estimate on simple horn replacement and he never gave me a price. He just wanted me out the door.

Excellent customer service! Very fast, friendly and inexpensive compared to other businesses offering similar services. I even made the error of scheduling my oil change for the wrong location, but they squeezed me right in with no issue whatsoever. I highly recommend giving them a shot if you haven’t already!

Rusty was amazing and shared his time with not only me, but entertaining my young children. He was such a blessing with his positive and caring attitude right before Christmas. He also signed me up for meineke rewards. He’s the reason we go here only for oil changes and maintenance. Thank you, Rusty!

⭐ 1 Star Extremely Disappointed – Poor Service, Questionable Workmanship, and Unprofessional Management I had the passenger-side control arm replaced on my 2016 Nissan Rogue at Meineke on Woodlawn in Wichita, KS on September 27, 2024, for about $420. This was actually the second time in less than a year that part had been replaced (the first being in March 2024 at another shop). Since then, three separate mechanics (including one from Meineke’s own “sister” location next door) told me at various times that the same control arm still needed to be replaced. The most recent mechanic was especially concerned and explained that each time I braked, the joint was taking the full weight of the vehicle, creating a serious safety risk—especially at highway speeds. When I told him the part had already been replaced twice, he and several others in the shop inspected it and said there was no sign of any new part ever being installed. I have everything documented in my calendar, including the prior repair dates and insurance claim notes. My insurance confirmed that the covered assembly included both the control arm and ball joint. When I brought this to Rusty, the manager, he said the part was only covered for 12 months or 12,000 miles and added that “parts wear out.” So apparently the original factory part lasted 8 years, but two replacements didn’t even last one? That doesn’t add up. He then claimed the part might not look new anymore because I’d driven 30K miles since it was replaced—which, frankly, isn’t an excuse for a part that’s supposed to last years, not months. I’ve had issues with Rusty before. He consistently speaks in a condescending tone, lacks basic customer service skills, and doesn’t know how to de-escalate or handle concerns professionally. He called someone and said he could cover the part under warranty but I’d have to pay for labor, offering an $80 discount. I agreed—until I found out that their labor rate was $165/hr, much higher than other shops charging $125/hr, and they were quoting 2.5 hours of work versus 1.7 hours elsewhere. When I declined his upsell on replacing the driver’s side as well, he revoked the warranty offer and discount, saying, “No, I’m not going to warranty it or give you the $80 discount unless you do both.” That was the last straw. This shop has completely lost my business. I used to go there exclusively when Nick was the manager, and service was excellent back then. Unfortunately, since Rusty took over, it’s been nothing but frustration, condescension, and questionable repairs. If you value honesty, safety, and professionalism—take your vehicle elsewhere.

Just went to get an estimate/check-up. Was treated very well by Eddie and Chad. They did a thorough inspection and found no issues which was nice to hear and gave me peace of mind. Seems like a very honest and nice group. I also like their digital vehicle inspection.

Water pump was replaced and seems to be ok. Overflow tank was empty and I had to ask that it be filled before leaving the shop. Saturday counter folks were very personable and helpful. Monday counter guy was not pleasant to work with. Did not explain the invoice or warranty, would not disclose the part source, and conversation was sharp. Maybe had a bad day or just not a people person?

Pleasantly surprised, and I’ve been to many car places in Wichita over the last 45 years. They got my car in, right when I had signed up for on line. The place is clean and neat, and the guys are great. Rusty is super nice, and they offered me several discount coupons that I didn’t even know were available. They also brought up my CarFax, and I learned a lot about my cars past, that I didn’t know. My car was done in a reasonable time, while I waited. I’ll be going back there from now on.

I used the same $59 oil change coupon here a few months ago with no issues. This location was checking me in and informed me about the price increase due to a “special oil filter,” adding about $25. They then told me they would send my vehicle to their sister store because they were busy. I don’t mind paying more, but the same coupon worked before without extra charges. If there are limitations, they should be clearly stated upfront.

I am disgusted at the amount of disrespect given to customers at this location. I am shocked that anyone has anything nice to say about Rusty. He is a disgrace as a human being. Yelled numerous times at me for something that was not even my fault then proceeded to shove parts at me in an aggressive manner. Never have I been treated so bad. Will be reported to the corporate office as this is unacceptable behavior in general, especially when you are talking with a customer who started out respectful and ended with attitude from your actions. They charged the same price for one brake pad as anywhere else would've charged that price for two. In the process of changing my one brake pad, THEY broke the stud off the tire. Blamed it on whoever tightened it last, which was a dealership, after they said it was my fault. I ended up paying to fix it, which I would've done anyways, even though the damage was done by the shop! I didnt bring up the issue until I overheard Rusty say it was my fault and I wanted it known the shop broke it not me. I didn't want problems. I didnt go looking for an issue, but Rusty was looking for confrontation. I feel lied to and that this place is very deceitful. DO NOT TRUST! AND RUSTY IS HORRIBLE AND HAS NO BUSINESS BEING THE SUPERVISOR! If I could give ZERO stars I would!

This was the worst experience I have ever had with any mechanic. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. On October 22nd I went in for an oil change unaware that came with a free inspection. At first I was happy but once I saw the recommendations were fluids and simple filters I opted out, the manager immediately cut me off and opened the door to yell at his guys to “Pull the land rover out”… After a few minutes my car was ready to leave. I immediately get blasted with dust and dirt all over my cabin and hear a terrible grinding noise. I turn off my AC since I was late to get back to work. After doing some reading I decide to peak into my filter before going back to them since they clearly caused some type of damage only to find they had installed my filter upside down which dumped a ton of dust and dirty into the clean side of my air system AND they had stuffed about a cubic foot of lint/debris into my blower fan ($3000 repair by the way). I have picture and video evidence of all of this. These dudes are the lowest of the low. Avoid!

I am not the type to leave reviews, but this place is worth it. My car had an issue that was difficult to find and Rusty did an amazing job to fix it well. It took 2 days and they did not make me pay for all the labor, which is much appreciated. Always a pleasure to do business with good people like that! Will definitely be coming back.

Went in today for an oil change. My car was acting funny and the oil pressure light came on, so they took a look, found a leak and were super honest and helpful. I would recommend them 10/10! So impressed with their professionalism that I took my son’s car there that same afternoon. I thought they were honest, affordable and knowledgeable. Very kind staff on a VERY busy day. Thanks again!
