My car had the e-break light on and it was showing issues when I’d put it in reverse. I was so stressed but when I called this shop the guy who answered, James, had such great customer service skills I decided to try them. Steven and James took great care of my car and I will definitely be back! Honestly one of the best experiences I’ve had with a car place. It’s so important to have people who know what they’re doing and can take care of you in a stressful situation. Thank you!!! 👏🏼

Had a 9am appointment. It's now 1:50 pm. All they were doing was replacing 3 gaskets on the exhaust. Haven't seen anyone even near my car for over an hour. Stacy in the office is nice but this is getting ridiculous. An hours job (if that) is now coming up on 5 hours. Every time I look in the shop I don't see the mechanics anywhere. Came here because of the good reviews. Have wasted my day off. I would have left the car had I know it would take this long. Be sure to pack a lunch if you're using this place.

All of the staff was very friendly and helpful, went above and beyond answering my questions and making sure I was safe. The tech did a great job making sure I was squared away and he did a great job, and at no point did I feel like I was being jipped like some places do. Overall very impressed and satisfied.

This Meineke Car Care Center is awesome. I'm very thankful and grateful for Steven fixing my vehicle yesterday on short notice, he has a great pleasant personality and attitude with a nice friendly smile which helped because I was a bit stressed not really knowing what to do and the same goes for James the Manager, he's the best. They truly know what good Customer Service is and they show it. I highly recommend this car care center, thank you all so much I know where I'll be taking my vehicle from now on for service.

I have been going to the West Market location for the past 4 years. As far as pricing goes, I believe them to be more fair than their competitors. I also would commend this location for the fact that I’ve never thus far had to go back to have anything reworked. The negatives includes the turnover rate and unprofessionalism of the current employees. For the last two years, the location has been overwhelmed with constant staff changes. Unfortunately most replacements have been turning my experience negative due to examples including but not limited to, miscommunication, verbal disrespect, and blatant disregard of my personal time. My most recent experience happened within the past 72 hours. I came in for a service that required a full day of work. My appointment was set for early morning to which I respected and dropped off even earlier. I came back late afternoon to check on the status of my vehicle being that I wasn’t phoned all day. Upon arrival, my car was left sitting exactly where I left it and the 4 employees were just sitting in the open garage engaging in leisure. Seven hours was completely wasted and no explanation as to why was provided. This resulted in me having to leave my vehicle for an additional day to be fixed. And this was not the first time I encountered my time being abused either. I explained to the technicians and supervisor how unfair that appointment times are mandatory but labor enforcement isn’t. I wasn’t provided any discounts for my poor service and paid over $1800. After everything I’ve explained, unfortunately this is not the reason I am providing this location with 1 star. I would’ve given 3 except for the first time I witnessed a true scam carry out with another customer. A man had came in inquiring about parts and service for his foreign Japanese Toyota truck. After explaining his issues the technicians told him to bring them the keys so that they may take a look and see if they could service and order the parts he needed. As soon as he left to go retrieve his vehicle, 2 technicians went on to get extremely excited about taking joyrides in his car being that they’ve never driven one before. They made it clear that they didn’t have the means to fix his car at all nor would they have access to obtaining the parts he needed because of difficulty. In real time, in front of customers, they admitted to using and wasting a consumers time. And for that, I have officially decided to never return to this establishment since integrity is not something they honor.

West market Street was USELESS. After having my vehicle for 3 days The manager James turned away my business claiming to have a broken welder , while the technician hid out back smoking cigarettes and talking on his cell phone. Only AFTER I asked, was I referred to the WEST WENDOVER location where DAN and Oliver took care of my vehicle with a smile. I ended up spending $400 thank you DAN you and OLIVER you guys run a great shop on West wendover Ave. The WEST MARKET market Street location SUCKS!! DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME!!

I’ve been to a lot of different mechanic shops, but, this Meineke was absolutely fantastic!! It’s nice to be able to hang out and talk “with the guys” while they were servicing my Explorer. I’m seriously considering having all my vehicles worked on here!!!

I gave a 3 star review only for James in Greensboro on market st.Him and the oil change guy ( I didn’t get his name) went above and beyond the call of duty but for the rest of them the lead mechanic (Steven) said he would keep me updated since my car was there 2 months and I picked my car up and the hose came off because the clamp and it wasn’t tightened down and he knew it was getting towed back to be fixed he left before I got back and they were going to make me wait until the next day after waiting 2 months already just to tighten up a hose and put antifreeze in if it wasn’t for James and the oil guy I would have had to drive back from Lexington again and my car was originally at meineke in Archdale and it sit there and wasn’t touched for a month or longer so Greensboro didn’t have it the whole 2 months but I thank James and the oil guy that worked last night 11/11/25

*********STAY AWAY FROM THIS BUSINESS*************** Stop doing business with this company. They are rude and don't understand customer service. I took my 2012 Acura TL to get looked at because I had previously replaced my spark plugs. The problem that I had was that anytime I'm at a red light and it's green, when I hit the gas, the car stutters or jerks before picking up. So that was the main issue, when i got to the shop i explained to them what happened and was initially requesting for 2 of the 6 spark plugs to be replaced because i had previously replaced the 4. So he asked me what brand the one i had replaced it with was and i said Bosch, immediately 2 technicians could be heard yelling and screaming, oh no i wouldnt put a Bosch in an Acura because Bosch was meant for german cars, so i asked if i could go buy the part and bring to get fixed, and they said no, so he gave me a quote of 6 with labour and i agreed for them to fix it for a total 0f $490. Fast forward, the work was done, I picked up my vehicle, and started driving. For the first hour, it was driving smoothly until the jerking came back, so I called the shop, and they asked me to bring it back in for a check, only for me to get there, and they told me they would only check and not replace the spark plugs, so I was like oh no. Then the manager, who is a different guy asked me if the car was diagnosed before the spark plugs were put in, which I said no, so that's the whole problem. If you're a technician and a customer walks in asking for a part for his vehicle, as a professional a u not supposed to ask what is wrong before prescribing a solution? Things got heated to the extent that they even said they would call the police on me. Can u imagine?? A whole business going back and forth with a customer over $180. They said they don't care about social media, and I can take it to where ever i want. Not a professional company to deal with, stay away from them. The owner or who ever i spoke to was equally RUDE including one of the technicians at the shop. Please STAY AWAY from them before they call the police on on u for an issue they dont want to FIX!!! I came to the shop with a problem and left with the PROBLEM!!! $500 dollars gone and no work done, I still have the problem. Please STAY AWAY FROM THIS SHOP!!!!!!

I went today gotten a appointment for 2.pm with the help from James the manger he was amazing I went for my inspection and the gentleman who did my inspection was wonderful did an awesome job was super duper polite I told him I will be back so my oil can be changed, Steven was a pleasure to talk to as well guys I really do hope that I am posting you guys names correctly if not I do apologize for it. Will be returning back for more services in the future. But there is one gentleman he drove a white ranger rover. I don’t know what you were going through today but it showed in your energy and your vibe. I hope that whatever it was he passed and you have a great week okay
